Gwent The closed beta date for Gwent: The Witcher Card Game has been pushed off from the original timeline but now we have a solid date for Gwent's closed beta now I hope you weren't sitting around waiting to find out the specific date in September you might be able to give Gwent: The Witcher Card Game a play. If you were then you are going to be let down or left wanting as CD Projekt RED has just stated that they are going to have to delay the closed beta of the game and, most likely, the final release as well. At least it is safe to assume that the full release of Gwent will also be hit with the same delay as I am sure they are going to want to make sure they can get as much testing in before it goes to market; especially based on their reasons for the delay. Mafia 3 A new behind the scenes video for Mafia 3 has been let loose and it gives us even more insight into Mafia 3's Cassandra; the Voodoo Queen I know I was looking forward to hearing more about the lieutenants of Mafia 3, specifically the third one, and it looks like we have more right here. Sadly, it isn't on the third lieutenant but a behind the scenes video from Hangar 13 on more of Cassandra's motives and wants in the game and overall story. I was pretty sure that we had a good taste from 2K Games so far on Cassandra out of Mafia 3 to keep us up to snuff until October 7th. Night Terrors Another new trailer for Night Terrors has been released but sadly no solid update on how Night Terrors' development is going so far It's been a bit of time since we had a solid update on Night Terrors for our Android and iOS devices that will hopefully be coming soon. For those who don't happen to know or remember what this is supposed to be, it is a new Augmented Reality title coming from Novum Analytics that turns your real world home into a nightmare filled haunted house. We' spoken on Night Terrors a few times in the past as it went into its Indigogo campaign to try and get the funds to make sure the team could get all of their tech to work and all of us shitting our pants. Gears Of War 4 New gameplay for Gears Of War 4 has been released and it is aimed to show us how the new enemies of Gears Of War 4, the Deebee, will be a force to fear Only a few months now until we will be playing Gears Of War 4 and seeing all of the new features, missions, and enemies coming to the franchise. The Coalition has been working hard on it all and October 11th will be the date that we all get to see the game in action on the Xbox One and Windows PC. Thankfully though, we won't have to wait that long to get to see some of the new enemies for Gears Of War 4 as we have some new gameplay to look at as Old-Man Fenix and his son fight their way through the game's world and the new enemies called the Deebee. The Technomancer We sit down and review The Technomancer. It's the developer's next foray into the RPG realm with a cyberpunk feel. Here's our review of The Technomancer Here we go with another lesser known RPG game set in a weird future in terms of The Technomancer. This would be the latest RPG title that Spiders has put out on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC and so far it has been getting mixed reviews. Thankfully Focus Home Interactive gave us the chance to check out The Technomancer and give it a solid play-though. Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games That was another great and solid week in video games now wasn't it? We had a whole lot of great and not so great updates for many of the titles we are looking forward to. Yes we did have to see Outlast 2 get delayed and that we will have to pay for the extras on Final Fantasy XV but on the plus side we were able to see amazing things for Hellblade and No Man's Sky. Mafia 3 The next lieutenant of Mafia 3 has been given the trailer treatment and here we get to know Mafia 3's Thomas Burke, the anarchist of the bunch Last week we got to see the Voodoo Queen for Mafia 3 and now this week we get to see the Anarchist in action for the game. This would be the Irish fellow we've seen in the past videos that 2K Games has given us and the most chaotic addition for the bunch. If it hadn't been said already I'd almost be certain that the Mafia 3 scenes we saw at E3 from Hangar 13 would always play out the same way based on his persona. No Man's Sky Another roundup trailer for No Man's Sky has been released and it sums up the four basic pillars of No Man's Sky in one solid place before launch Only a few days until No Man's Sky finally hits the PS4 and PC and I know many of you can't wait. Hells, there are people out there paying obscene amounts of money to play what Hello Games has built for us all because they can't wait. Kind of crazy to think but none the less No Man's Sky still launches this coming Tuesday and we still have some more to see for this procedurally generated title. Paragon The next hero added to Paragon has been shown off and now we can see what to expect from The Fey as she joins Paragon's fight It's crazy to think that it's already been three weeks since the last big update for Paragon and now we have yet another character joining the huge fight in terms of The Fey. This would be the new character coming from Epic Games in the big update here on August 2nd for the game on the PS4 and PC. Mafia 3 A new video series for Mafia 3 has begun and each looks to let us get to know the lieutenants of Mafia 3 we will be working with and appeasing Way back in June we were properly introduced to the lieutenants that we will be in control of in Mafia 3 when it launches. We had a fun look at how Hangar 13 has set up a pretty dynamic way for them to be integrated into the game as well as a quick overview of their personalities. Of course that is going to play a big part in the overall scheme of Mafia 3 so it would be nice to get to know them a bit more. Darksiders The rumored remaster of Darksiders has now become a reality as the Darksiders Warmastered Edition is heading to current gen systems this October If you were like me and questioning why we had the second Darksiders game remastered and no word on the first title, then you'll be glad to see that we now have the answer. It looks like Nordic Games was having that one remastered as well by KAIKO and now we are on the verge of getting it. I am glad to say that we now have the Darksiders Warmastered Edition announced and coming to our PS4, Xbox One, Wii U, or PC on October 25th of this year. Read More...

No Man's Sky The other three aspect trailers for No Man's Sky crept out on us and now we get to see how No Man's Sky will play in all aspects It looks like I was wrong when it came to the recent intro videos for No Man's Sky that we were getting here. Originally the first one was released by Hello Games with enough time to release one each week up until its August 9th release. I guess it's good for all of us wanting more for No Man's Sky as it looks like the rest of the videos are out there and we get to see just what we are going to get in terms of the core gameplay of the game. Layers Of Fear The launch trailer for Layers Of Fear: Inheritance has been released just before launch and it sounds like we may be able to alter Layers Of Fear through the eyes of a child Next week we get to head back into the world of Layers Of Fear as the new DLC expansion lands on August 2th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. This would be the bit of story for the game that has won the hearts of many for Bloober Team where we get to take on the role of the deranged artist's daughter and head back into the house. At least that is the story for Layers Of Fear: Inheritance as the original story was just us playing through as the artist himself and trying to make heads and tails of what was going on. Fallout A new Fan TV series call Fallout: Revelation has a third of its pilot out there and ready for us to see a serious side of Fallout instead of the humor We've all come to love Fallout in many forms. Of course we have the game and there have been a few fun and humorous fan films and web series made but now it looks like we are going a bit more serious as we now have another Fan TV series out of MechanicalCake. Here we have Fallout: Revelation a new serious story in the universe. But let it be known that it is not affiliated with Bethesda directly, yet, as the team is looking to delve into the reason that the bombs were dropped in the Fallout universe and everyone had to hide underground.
