Friday The 13th: The Game Has A Few More Updates Before The Blackest Of Fridays

Friday The 13th

There are a few more Friday The 13th: The Game assets and updates to look at as well as the specs for Friday The 13th's upcoming PC beta test

While many in the US are settling down for the gluttony filled holiday and their own Black Friday, it is good to see that a different Friday is getting some attention and again it is Friday The 13th: The Game. Such a roundabout way to get there but trust me as we have some new updates from Gun Media on the game and if you are truly nice we will end it all with an image of a topless girl direct from Illfonic. I have your attention now don't I? As if Friday The 13th wasn't enough. None the less we have some new things to look at as well as how to get ready for the PC Beta test that is coming up as the spec sheet for the game has also been placed out there.

First up, we have another short video clip for Friday The 13th: The Game. It is titled 'Clouds' but and the description doesn't truly offer up much else. When you boil it all down though it looks like another polished up version of Jason just gazing into our souls and getting ready for another kill. Something I am sure we will all get to see here in the coming days even if it is not from behind the mask here. Yes, that is another sly mention at the human idiocy we will see in the shopping malls here in the coming days. Maybe this is what we need out there instead of creepy clowns and bigots. Now I am digressing. Have a look at the newly polished up Jason for now though.

He looks amazing and with each new video it can be seen the love and care that Illfonic is putting into Friday The 13th in terms of visuals. Hopefully the gameplay and mechanics will pare up nicely. I guess we'll all be find that out soon though with the impending PC Beta Test planned for the game. Hopefully you pre-ordered or know a friend who did so you can give it a go. Also, hopefully you have a PC that can handle Friday The 13th: The Game at its ultra-settings. Friday The 13th: The Game — Ultra Specs

Alright. You made it this far and at the beginning it was promised there would be a topless girl at the end of this fucked up rainbow. As I am a man of my word I present to you another fun screenshot from Friday The 13th that gives us just that. Although it is most likely not the topless girl you were hoping for but it is one that Jason made just for you. In fact, it sounds like those over at Gun Media were also teasing that Jason will be able to display his victims in the game to help drive the fear and chaos during a match. While I get that would be a great gameplay mechanic it does deviate from the character's motivations as he usually just leaves the bodies where they lay. I guess we'll find out soon though.

Is your system ready to handle the Friday The 13th: The Game beta or will you need to make some upgrades? Where you able to see more than an amazingly polished Jason in the video? What do you think about a mechanic that would allow Jason to position kills specifically in the game to help drive fear and panic in the other players? Let us know your thoughts on it all down in the comments and feel free to discuss. For more on Friday The 13th: The Game as it comes out, be sure to stick right here as we'll have it for you.
