We even had a few titles listed here that will be releasing in the coming weeks that some may have only heard of for the first time here. Not to mention all of the Monster Hunter: World and God Of War information we had dropped on us out of nowhere. Read More...

The Obligatory 2017 Video Games Year In Review List
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 29th of December 2017 - 10:00 PM ]
Video Games There were a lot of video games that came out in 2017 and we tried to review as many video games as we could. Here's a recap of them all The year is finally over and there were a lot of great video games that came out. There were also a lot of shitty ones in the mix as well. Just like every year, there were all over the place and we had a chance to give a good chunk of them all a play and thus a review. Hells, we even had more indie-based video games mixed in to add an extra level of interest here. It, of course, is not a list of all video games that came out this year but it is a list of what we had to experience over here in our little part of the world. Read More...

New Pre-Alpha Gameplay For Dead Dozen Has Shambled Out To Us
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 28th of December 2017 - 08:00 PM ]
Dead Dozen Hot off the official announcement of Dead Dozen, we have some new pre-alpha gameplay to look at and see just what we could be getting ourselves into with Dead Dozen Back in November, we had a nice little tease for an upcoming title called Dead Dozen. More or less it looked like another Zombie Shooter coming from Fntastic Entertainment and had very little to go on outside of the eleven versus one style of gameplay it was going to have. One player would spawn in as the "ghoul" in the match and the other eleven would be survivors who needed to barricade themselves in a building and survive the onslaught of the ghoul. Obviously, there is a bit more to Dead Dozen than that, but this was all that we had from before and things were looking grim as the world it is set in. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 23rd of December 2017 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week We have wrapped yet another week in video games had had yet more ups and downs as comes with almost every week we have out there. Granted, we did get some great announcements like Catherine: Full Body and Vermintide 2 but they were also followed by delay for Psychonauts 2 and lacking information on many other video games out there that we were hoping to hear about before the end of the year. Maybe we will get them next week (doubtful) or sometime early in the next year. Nonetheless, we have a nice smattering of stuff to look forward to here and in the coming months and years. The Forest Is Branching Out To Other Platforms Now
by Julia Schoebel [ Thursday, 21st of December 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
The Forest As the Early Access for The Forest comes to a close, it looks like The Forest is now set to land on other platforms than just PC now We are getting close to the date where The Forest will finally be leaving its Early Access state for those PC gamers out there who are enjoying. It has been close to four years now that Endnight Games has had it in this state but, as they are a small team trying to make a massive open world, survival game it is forgivable. Even more so now that we know The Forest is launching fully in 2018 and now it is leaping to the PS4 as well. Yep, there will be another title in this genre for us to sink more of our time on that platform now. Read More...

There Is So Much Going On In Dreams Than We Knew Before
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 20th of December 2017 - 10:00 PM ]
Dreams A lot of new gameplay for Dreams is out there for us to take in and get to understand just what kind of game Dreams is Here we go with a lot more on Dreams coming here to our PS4 in 2018. Hopefully you were not looking for some weird update about how our personal dreams can get into our video games but more on how Media Molecule has worked on the game and what we are going to get to experience. I have faith that you know why you are here though and that is for more on just what the game has to offer up in terms of gameplay and extras that we have grown to love from the developer. The Dealer Will Be Joining Into More Of The Fun Of Hand Of Fate 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 20th of December 2017 - 08:00 PM ]
Hand Of Fate New DLC for Hand Of Fate 2 is here and it looks like The Dealer will be joining in on the fights of Hand Of Fate 2 in his own way There is more Hand Of Fate 2 on the way out there for those fans who have played, beaten, and enjoyed the game. Given the popularity of the franchise that Defiant Development has here, it makes perfect sense and players on the PC version of the game can get said DLC right now and add in The Dealer as a new companion to the game. PS4 and Xbox One owners of Hand Of Fate 2 will need to wait until next year to get it, but seeing as it looks like it is a free bit of DLC here just for owning and beating the game, can you really complain? Well, of course you can, it just would not make much sense at the end of the day. Read More...

Dive Into A New Style Of Narrative Adventure With The Council
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 20th of December 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
The Council A new narrative title, The Council, has been given the announcement treatment with a few twists to the episodic formula to make The Council shine Fans of episodic murder mysteries get ready to add another to your watch list as The Council has been announced to add into the mix and will be bringing all the intrigue you may have been waiting for on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It also looks like history and occult buffs may want to take notice too as Big Bad Wolf is mixing all of that in as it looks like a good period piece with all of those iconic people from 1793 that were "ruling" the world. People like Napoleon Bonaparte and George Washington to namedrop a few, but I am guessing the rest of The Council will be filled with others from around the world during the time as our protagonist looks for his missing mother while trying to navigate all of the social machinations and skills of all of the others at this weird gathering of the minds. January 30th for those PS4 owners as there is the timed-exclusive thing Activision has set up for it all, but we will all be playing this new DLC from Sledgehammer Games by the end of February. Warhammer: Vermintide 2 Is Heading To Consoles As Well Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 19th of December 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
Warhammer It is official now that Warhammer: Vermintide 2 will be heading to the consoles after much speculation that we would see this Warhammer game head there too Since Warhammer: Vermintide 2 was first revealed and shown off for the PC it was heavily speculated that we would be seeing the game also on the consoles at some point. It was speculated but never confirmed from Fatshark and it seemed odd to many. Especially since Warhammer: End Times — Vermintide made the jump to the PS4 and Xbox One after a year of being released.
