Jurassic World Evolution Adds More To The Cast & Species

Jurassic World

Two more actors from the Jurassic World franchise have been added to the cast of Jurassic World Evolution as we see more dinosaurs in the mix

To more from the film cast has joined Jeff Goldblum in Jurassic World Evolution to reprise their roles. Bryce Dallas Howard and BD Wong have been tapped by Frontier Developments to bring back the two iconic characters that they have played and will keep playing the films to add their voices to the game. The same characters you know from Jurassic Park and Jurassic World depending on when you got into the franchise. All to help you build the best parks and keep the dinosaurs roaming for the guests in the best way. Also to make sure you know what you are doing by playing "god" in the world and developing new dinosaurs because you can.

This may not be the biggest bits of news for those looking forward to Jurassic World Evolution, but it is here to help with the immersion into the game and the universe a bit more. If anything it will help tie all of the films together for players and make them feel like they are the one that caused all of the issues that the "heroes" need to deal with. If none of this excites you though, we also have some new videos that show off some of the dinosaurs we will be working with in Jurassic World Evolution. They are short little clips but also a bit on the educational side of things. You can see all of the videos released so far, including an April Fools one, down below the announcement here.

Frontier Developments, in partnership with Universal, today announced Bryce Dallas Howard and BD Wong will reprise their roles as Claire Dearing and Dr. Henry Wu, respectively, in the upcoming video game, Jurassic World Evolution. They join Jeff Goldblum — as Dr. Ian Malcolm — in an all-new story that touches on key characters and events from across the Jurassic film franchise as players attempt to successfully build and run their own Jurassic World.

Bryce Dallas Howard first appeared in the Jurassic film franchise as Claire Dearing, Jurassic World’s operations manager, in 2015’s Jurassic World, and will reprise her role as Claire in the upcoming Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, hitting theaters June 22, 2018. BD Wong also returns in the new film, following his appearances as Dr. Henry Wu in 1993’s Jurassic Park and again in Jurassic World.

Jurassic World Evolution places players in control of operations on the legendary island of Isla Nublar and the surrounding islands of the Muertes Archipelago. Players will build their own Jurassic World as they bioengineer new dinosaur breeds and construct attractions, containment and research facilities. Every choice leads to a different path and spectacular challenges arise when “life finds a way.”

Jurassic World Evolution will launch digital-first June 12, 2018 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. A physical release will be available in stores July 3, 2018.

Are you glad to see more of the film cast being brought into Jurassic World Evolution or does it matter to you? Does this add to the immersion or will you be focused more on all of the micromanagement that we will have in the game more than anything? Do you think that we will get to engineer more of the goats in the park or will they just be the basic food for the carnivores? Let us know what you think down in the comments and then discuss. For more on Jurassic World Evolution, just check back in here. We still have some time before the game launches and hopefully many more bits of news to excite us.
