At E3 2009 Konami showed a trailer, for the first time, for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow. Needless to say, it took nearly everyone by surprised. Almost a year after its announcement at E3 '09, we finally get to see what Hideo Kojima has been doing to one of gaming's iconic franchises, Castlevania. He is playing around with Castlevania: Lords of Shadow in a way that I am still kind of on the fence about. Wait, Vandal Hearts is still around? Why yes they are. Hijinx Studio and Konami recently released Vandal Hearts: Flames of Judgment for the XBox Live and PlayStation Network and did a reasonably good job with the game. I just find it a bit random that out of all the Konami franchises, that Vandal Hearts was the one they chose to release. In any case let see how this Japanese turn-based RPG do. Death by Cube (800 ($10)) is a little gem by Square Enix with a story that suggests a sweet abundance of man's most precious videogame resource, violence, "Leo is a robot, one who awakes to find that he has lost his memory. It was rumored before that the game was going to be a remake of the PlayStation version of Vandal Hearts and was going to be released for the Nintendo DS.
