Don’t Let Those Aliens Eat Your Lunch In Override: Mech City Brawl
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 17th of October 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Override A new trailer for Override: Mech City Brawl is here to take us through all of the features we will experience in Override this December In the past we have had a few looks at the features for Override: Mech City Brawl. It has been more text among things than any actual gameplay from The Balance Inc. It is what it is and we will take it in strides. Given that the game is slated to land on December 4th, it would be nice to see what we can get ourselves into with the game besides just know it allows us to pilot mechs and destroy part of the city for reasons. Spider-Man The first DLC for Spider-Man is almost here and now we have some new details as well as a look at Spider-Man’s new suits that are coming We are a week out from the first DLC for Spider-Man on the PS4 and it looks like we finally have a bit more on what will be coming with it. As we have all know so far, it will be surrounding Black Cat in more of a way than she was in the core game but now we know it is all part of a bigger story. One that spans not only this DLC but also the other two that are slated by Insomniac Games to hit Spider-Man in the coming months. How? Read More...

This Week In Video Games 10/8/18 — 10/12/18
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 12th of October 2018 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week That brings us to a wrap on this week of video games here and it was another fun one. So many things that we were able to get to when we thought we would miss out on a few things. I mean, how could we miss out on such video games like Darksiders III and Just Cause 4. We also had a chance to finally get our review for The Council out there and then we heard about getting the ability to change PSN IDs. Read More...

Lara Is Heading Into The Forge In Shadow Of The Tomb Raider
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 12th of October 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Tomb Raider The first DLC for Shadow Of The Tomb Raider is coming and we get to see Lara become more of the Tomb Raider in a lava-filled tomb By now you should have had plenty of time to give Shadow Of The Tomb Raider a solid play or have been working hard with it while all of the other titles get placed out there. At least that is the hope as we have word from Eidos-Montréal on the first bit of DLC coming to the game here and we can expect to see it on November 13th now. On all of the platforms that Shadow Of The Tomb Raider dropped on as there is no exclusive deal going on here as a few murmured a while back. Read More...

Welcome To The Serpent Holes With Darksiders III’s Planned DLC
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 12th of October 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Darksiders Two new bits of DLC for Darksiders III have been confirmed and we can look forward to diving into Darksiders III’s serpent holes The curtain has been pulled back a bit more for Darksiders III as we now have word on two bits of DLC heading to the game post-launch. Why Gunfire Games will not be able to get them in before November 27th is still to be a mystery, but now we know there will be more for the game once you have played and beaten the core experience. I just hope that nothing opts to overshadow Darksiders III after launch to make anyone forget to go back and experience the extras that are now coming. So many other things will dictate that, but for now, we can sit back and now they are coming. Read More...

Get To Know More Of The Charred Council Before Playing Darksiders III
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 9th of October 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Darksiders New lore videos for Darksiders III are coming and the first one out gives us a recap and look at The Charred Council that governs Darksiders thus far It feels strange to me to know that Darksiders III is going to be some gamer's first introduction to the franchise on November 27th. Some due to age and not being able to fully enjoy the titles since THQ Nordic was even around and others who have only started to pay attention since Gunfire Games took over. No matter the case, there are some new gamers coming in and they most likely missed out on the story from before. They need to be brought up to speed on just what is going on in Darksiders III before they set out to save the world with Fury. Read More...

Lickers Are Back & Giving Claire A Horrible Experience In Resident Evil 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 8th of October 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Resident Evil More gameplay for the Resident Evil 2 Remake is out now and it takes us all the way back to one of Resident Evil 2’s terrifying enemies the Lickers There was no doubt that the Lickers would be back in full swing for the Resident Evil 2 Remake as they were such an iconic creature the first time around. We have seen little bits here and there to get us all excited for them and now Capcom has allowed for some extra gameplay footage to be out there to show off how much more they will haunt our dreams. Also while showing off that the classic scene from Resident Evil 2 will be held up to pretty much the same standards we expect and have seen before. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 10/1/18 — 10/5/18
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 5th of October 2018 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Put one more week of talking about all of these video games in the bag as we head off to the weekend. A wonderful time for us to catch up on all of those titles we may have missed all to get ready for when Red Dead Redemption 2 and Hitman 2 drop on us soon. It will also let us dive into other video games like Mega Man 11 and Life Is Strange 2 as we may have missed out in the mix of it all. I know that is along the lines of what I will be doing as well as other things. Read More...

New Darksiders III Gameplay Shows Off Why Laziness Will Not Win
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 5th of October 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Darksiders More footage of Darksiders III’s Sloth is here to show off more of the story leading up to the fight and just how it can go down in Darksiders III We have even more gameplay for Darksiders III here to share this week and it may seem a bit familiar. We get to see that good old fight between Fury and Sloth again, but this time without the skipping and obfuscation that Gunfire Games put on the first time. You know, the stuff that keeps story spoilers away from Darksiders fans who want to experience the game completely the first time. Take that as your first "spoiler alert" here as this does show off a bit of the game's story and other bits that THQ Nordic should have held back on. Read More...

Fury Will Be A Force To Recon With In Darksiders III
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 3rd of October 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Darksiders Another Hollow for Darksiders III is shown off for Fury and it changes a few other things for Darksiders III than just her flame color It looks like the next Hollow that Fury will have imbued upon her is here for Darksiders III and this one is all about Force. That is what it is called as we watch as Gunfire Games mixes in its own version of the Infinity Stones into the franchise here. No, they are not really doing that, but it looks that way as we get different extra abilities to use in Darksiders III to help take down all of those deadly sins in the new world here. The world that War has brought us here. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of September 2018 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Just when you thought this week was going to be all highs in terms of video games, it took a hard twist. Not as terrible of one that we could have taken, but it did end on a bit of a downer. Even when hyped up with new stuff for Hitman 2 and Death Stranding to kick it all off and some new Kingdom Hearts III and Fallout 76 in the middle. At least we are walking into the times when all of the big releases happen for those video games and we can just get into playing and enjoying them. Read More...

The Story For Resident Evil 2 Seems To Change In The Remake
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 20th of September 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Resident Evil A new story trailer for the Resident Evil 2 Remake is here and we can see some of the changes coming from the original version of Resident Evil 2 There have been quite a few good looks at the Resident Evil 2 Remake since it was first announced and I am sure we will have many more before the January 25th release date that is set for it all. We still have a few more conventions and shows out there for Capcom to show things off at and they have done just that again out at TGS. This time it is a bit more than just basic gameplay but a look at how the story for the remake will play out a bit different than most will remember from Resident Evil 2 so long ago. Read More...

Delve Deeper Down The Path Of Madness With Call Of Cthulhu
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 20th of September 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Call Of Cthulhu New gameplay for Call Of Cthulhu has sprung up to show us some of the darker sides of Call Of Cthulhu as well as some of the true horrors that wait If you have been hoping for new gameplay for Call Of Cthulhu, then we are here to offer it up. It is also not the same rehashing of the same footage but actually some new gameplay that Cyanide Studios put together to show off some of the true horrors that the game will house. At least as true horror in terms of the elder gods that we can get in video game form. I mean, it does look like they are playing well with the sanity portion of Call Of Cthulhu, but there is no real way to get that point across without forcing the human to truly go mad. Read More...
