Minecraft
A new Minecraft game is on the way and we will soon be able to build in an AR space when Minecraft Earth hits our mobile devices
If you are a fan of Minecraft and wanted to have more of an outdoor experience with it, then you are in luck. In a stroke of genius mixed with inevitability, Mojang is working on something to sate that with the help of Microsoft. What would that be? Well, Minecraft Earth, a new AR game heading to the iOS and Android that will place you into the landscapes you want to build in the core game. Think along the lines of Pokémon Go mixed with all the fun of Minecraft. I am guessing there will be little in hunting down creatures though.
Not much is known about Minecraft Earth at this time, but it does sound like there will be a beta for it this coming Summer. In it, players will be able to build all manner of things overlaid on the real world, collect resources, and fight off creepers if you really need some combat. You know, the basics of Minecraft except instead of sharing server space you will be sharing physical space. Get ready to see dick castles and other wonders while trying to not die in the real world. Cars and other people are a factor to take in.
