Ashes Of Creation Is Heading Toward Some New Development Heights
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 28th of December 2021 - 10:00 PM ]
Ashes Of Creation Ashes Of Creation is in the works of an upgrade with Ashes Of Creation getting some development in the new Unreal 5 engine out there There is no doubt that since the Unreal Engine 5 was showcased that we were not going to start seeing some titles coming along for it in short order. Most of which have seemed to be tech demos or something along those lines, but it looks like Ashes Of Creation will be heading right down that path by getting the full upgrade down the line. When that will be is still anyone's guess, as Intrepid Studios just made the announcement that work has started. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 12/20/21 — 12/24/21
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 25th of December 2021 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week This was much more of an exciting week for all of our video games than it has been in the past. Usually, the weeks before and after Christmas here are insanely slow, which was not the case this time around. At least as of yet. We had some fun for Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands again and a new update for Horizon Forbidden West in the mix. Read More...

Even More Machines Are Roaming Out Now For Horizon Forbidden West
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 23rd of December 2021 - 10:00 PM ]
Forbidden West Another showing of the various machines in Horizon Forbidden West is here to get us ready to head out for that Forbidden West We have had a chance to see many of the new and old threats that will be out there in Horizon Forbidden West when the game launches on February 18th. A good portion of them that look like they will give Aloy another run for the money as we expand out further into the world. Guerrilla Games did not want it to end there for now, though, and we have more to look at and try to figure out how we will survive all of these beasties as we head into the Forbidden West. Only a few more months until we can load this one up on the PS4 and PS5, so it makes sense to get a bit more of the hype rolling on out there. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 12/13/21 — 12/17/21
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 18th of December 2021 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Well, that was a week for video games here and we had to play a bit of catchup to things too with how many things were announced and shown. It is nice to have all of this at the end of the year with Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands and Horizon Forbidden West coming so quick at the start of 2022 and the hype needed. Even with other video games like Saints Row and Star Wars Eclipse coming much later than all of that. We still have more to go to get us all up to date and ready for the next year to kick off. Horizon Forbidden West Horizon Forbidden West adds in some new mechanical threats out there for Horizon Forbidden West at the launch of it With February 18th creeping up for us all and the release of Horizon Forbidden West coming so fast, we will need a good look at some of the gameplay in the mix. Not only that, but also a solid look at how Guerrilla Games is building upon the winning formula that they had out there on the PS4 and PS5 already, we need something new to look at. All of which is something we have in spades as we have a new look at the threats we will have out there for Horizon Forbidden West now. Read More...

The Riffs Are Getting Heavier & Spicier For Metal: Hellsinger
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 15th of December 2021 - 10:00 PM ]
Hellsinger Metal: Hellsinger has some new and raw gameplay to take in to show us how Hellsinger is progressing with the new vocals The wait for Metal: Hellsinger to hit all of our systems just seems to be taking forever for us. That is the feel for me at least and we still have to wait for The Outsiders to get things done. It does mean that we are getting more artists in the mix of the music here for Hellsinger, but it is all a tease until we get to actually play it ourselves. The musicians are nice to have and I am glad to see the roster expanding, but we all want the gameplay to enjoy. Read More...

Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League Flashes Us Some New Gameplay To Enjoy
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 10th of December 2021 - 06:00 PM ]
Suicide Squad The Suicide Squad is in full action with the gameplay that has dropped out there for Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League out of The Game Awards Hot off the heels of The Game Awards this year, we have the first true gameplay for Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League out here to give us the full feel on how the game will play. It is still building off of the Rocksteady Arkham line, so it does have something to truly live up to and giving us four characters does feel like a true deviation from the norm here. More so as we learn that we will be able to play each member of this Suicide Squad in a solo mode or join the game with three other friends so the whole team is out there. Read More...

Oh, The Sights & Sounds Of The Comic-Con Special Edition
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 3rd of December 2021 - 10:00 PM ]
Comic-Con Things shifted up for this year's Comic-Con and here is a bit of a look at the Comic-Con Special Edition There is no denying that the last few years have been a little rough on conventions and events like E3 and Comic-Con International have been hit fairly hard out there. There have been many of the smaller conventions out there that have not been able to survive everything we have been going through since 2020. As many of the avid readers of the site will know, SDCC is one of the bigger ones we like to head out and cover for all of the various gaming needs and other attractions that bring a bit of gaming into our real world. That is why I know myself and the team were pumped to be able to head out to Comic-Con Special Edition last week. Read More...

Vertigo Another developer diary for Alfred Hitchcock — Vertigo is here to give us more of a taste on how Vertigo’s art style will feel Things are progressing right along for Alfred Hitchcock — Vertigo and here we are with yet another developer diary to help us see how this little title is shaping up for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC. This Week In Video Games 11/15/21 — 11/19/21
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 20th of November 2021 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week There we go with another week is done and more to take in for all of our video games out there. It was a little bit of a downer with so many titles getting delayed and shifted as Saints Row did. But, thankfully, we also had a chance to see that Sifu was moved forward a little bit for us to experience. That and some DLC for other video games like Far Cry 6 and Maneater to enjoy too.
