Star Wars New gameplay for LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is here to get us all hyped up for the final release of LEGO Star Wars title It is going to finally continue, as we finally have something to show for LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. You might remember this one from a while ago, but now it looks like TT Games will finally get this one out to us. This is the LEGO Star Wars title that will give us all of the nine films in one glorious adventure in the form of LEGOs, as the name kind of alludes to. Night Book The release date for Night Book is now set down with Night Book hitting us all before the end of this July It was first teased during this year's E3 and there was no release in site at all, but here we are with the announcement that Night Book will be hitting us in July. That is this month for those following along and while there are many days in it, Wales Interactive has set it down to give us the date of July 27th for when it will be hitting us on all of those platforms out there. That is quite an impressive turnaround from the announcement to the launch for Night Book, and it could pay off extremely well. I mean, as far as anticipation and waiting are concerned but not so much in the hype building and promotion for the indie FMV game that could be another home run for the developer and publisher here. Gollum The Lord Of The Rings: Gollum has a little more to see with some hype around how Gollum will encounter things we have never seen before The tease we had last week for The Lord Of The Rings: Gollum has finally paid off and we have a little more to look at for the game. We still have to wait until 2022 to get to play it, sure, but that does not mean that Daedalic Entertainment did not give us some things to take in to get hyped about. We have seen things that have shown it off to be a solid stealth game in this universe, which is further driven home here, but there is also talk about some parkour mixed in to it all as well. Kingdom Of The Dead A new retro FPS, Kingdom Of The Dead, is coming and it looks like Kingdom Of The Dead will play with some lights to give us some old fun There is certainly a run on "retro" style video games as of late as we add another to the list with Kingdom Of The Dead. Retro in the way that the teams are opting to go with the lower-end visuals and styles to bring us a new game and then hopefully focus on the gameplay mechanics a bit more. That is the hope once again with this new title as we have from Dirigo Games that looks the part. Gollum Gollum is here just before Nacon Connect to tease us with something new for The Lord Of The Rings: Gollum It has been a bit since we had anything of substance for The Lord Of The Rings: Gollum and… we are still going to have to wait a bit more. Night Book A new FMV game, Night Book, was teased during this year's E3 with Night Book showing off what remote work can accomplish Here we go with another one of the great FMV style video games getting teased and poised to hit us with Night Book. This would be one of the next titles that Wales Interactive and Good Gate Media will be bringing to us on all of the platforms out there when it does hit. It also happened to be a small thing to slip out there during E3 this year that might have gone unnoticed for a bit. Vertigo Alfred Hitchcock's Vertigo will be getting a video game version with Vertigo taking us down the narrative in a different way One more classic film is getting the video game treatment with the announcement of Alfred Hitchcock — Vertigo that we have here now. A new title coming out of Pendulo Studios and Microids for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Switch, and PC at some point during this year here. As the name dictates, it will follow some of the story from the film version of Vertigo in some form of inspiration of it all. So do not expect to see a shot for shot remake of the film for this game, but something more along the lines of just using the mental aspects of it all to direct it all down a path. Read More...

Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Gods, this was a fast week here for us and all of the lead-up for so many video games.
