Atlas Is Getting Mugged In Episode 2 Of Tales From The Borderlands
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 9th of March 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
The second episode for Tales From The Borderlands has a release date and a new trailer showing off some of the action we can all look forward to It's been some time since we had the last episode of Tales From The Borderlands hit our gaming machines. I guess it would be the first episode and there has been almost a 5 month gap in between which sadly looks like it is placing Tales From The Borderlands on the same level as releases for The Wolf Among Us. Maybe I am being a bit harsh here but this is one of my favorite titles from Telltale as of late and didn't want to have to wait until March 17th for the second episode. Yes, that is the date that we will be getting the second episode for the game. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 26th of November 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Tales From The Borderlands — Zer0 Sum. This is the first episode of Telltale's take on Gearbox's famed franchise. Here's our review on how they did The first episode and debut of Tales From The Borderlands is now here. This has been one of those most talked about titles and fans of the Borderlands franchise have been questioning its worth since the first announcement about a year ago. This is a huge franchise with a lot of rabid fans so Telltale had their work cut out to make Gearbox's franchise prosper in a non-FPS way. Did they hit the nail on the head or is this just another QTE sit and watch a predictable plot. Read More...

Telltale Games and Gearbox Software have released a small set of screen shots from their upcoming title Tales From The Borderlands. It is time for all of you Borderlands fans to lose you shit as we now have the first official screen shots for the Telltale and Gearbox collaboration Tales From The Borderlands. To be honest, they also look exactly how I imagined everything would look for the game as well. As the original announcement and showcasing presented it would look just like Borderlands 2 as far as what is on screen with a stylized version of the dialog controls Telltale uses in all of their episodic games. If you own Borderlands 2 and have a Twitter account, then you should know by now that Randy Pitchford, president of Gearbox, and Gearbox Software tweet out Golden Key codes that can be redeemed using the "SHiFT" program on Borderlands 2. What I'd Like In Borderlands 3
by Matt Waitt [ Thursday, 27th of September 2012 - 09:36 PM ]
Well, after beating the campaign for the first time and having my jaw drop to the floor in shock, I think it's time we start discussing what could be improved for the third installment of Borderlands. I won't be spoiling anything for you guys so you guys can take the mouse off the "X" button now. First off, I would have to say "Keep this story going." It's a great story so far and a lot of good can and will come from this. The story in Borderlands 2 is more narrative and interactive than the first one. Read More...

Borderlands 2: 101
by Matt Waitt [ Thursday, 30th of August 2012 - 06:26 PM ]
Since Borderlands 2 is coming out in just over a few weeks, I felt it would be good to give you guys the low down and all the info that we know about Borderlands 2. First off, let's start with the classes; we got four new classes to choose from: Characters: Salvador (The Gunzerker) is "about as subtle, classy, and sane as one would imagine a native of Pandora to be. Which is to say: not at all. He loves blowing people up, getting paid, and laughing incessantly at the violence that surrounds him. Read More...

E3 2012 Hands On: Borderlands 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 15th of June 2012 - 08:20 PM ]
Borderlands 2 has probably got to be one of the biggest sequels coming to market this year and yours truly here got a nice 30 minute hands on with the game. Not only that, but I got hands on with the Assassin class that has yet to be playable until E3. Well at least to the general public that is. So let me break down what I got to play and give you a bit of detail into a few things Borderlands 2. Before anyone asks, they didn't really go into detail on the character creation/progression in the game and I didn't have time to dig into the three trees of the Zer0. But as you can assume they all mostly revolved around things that would make you a better, sneaky killer. Read More...

PAX East Hands-On: Borderlands 2
by Matt Waitt [ Wednesday, 11th of April 2012 - 04:17 PM ]
Borderlands 2 is a massive improvement from the first installment. The controls are super smooth and tight. The feeling of level grinding seems to have disappeared, thankfully. Having other colors in the game, rather than just brown, has really showed off the rich and beautiful landscape that the world of Pandora has to offer. I got to play as the new Siren in the game: Maya. Her special ability stuns her enemies in a blackish purple vortex allowing you to get off some free shots. Read More...

PAX East Hands-On: Aliens: Colonial Marines
by Matt Waitt [ Tuesday, 10th of April 2012 - 05:28 PM ]
I had the privilege to speak with the senior producer of Aliens: Colonial Marines at PAX East over the weekend. They were also giving a demo of the Multiplayer. The Multiplayer was very team oriented and forced you to work together to defeat your opponents. The only mode we played was Team Deathmatch. The marines would all huddle around each other and pick off the Xenomorphs as they tried to separate the marines. One on one a marine has a very high chance of losing to a Xenomorph mainly due to its "pounce" ability. Read More...
