Mortal Kombat The cover art for Mortal Kombat 11 is revealed and it brings us just about what would expect from a new Mortal Kombat game We are under a week out from the bigger Mortal Kombat 11 reveal event but we still have something small to keep us going until then. Not that the surprise trailer NetherRealm Studios gave us back at the Game Awards was not enough, we did need something to hold us until now. Then again until April 23rd when Mortal Kombat 11 hits the PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. I am sure that is what the reveal event will do but for now we will look at the latest bit to keep us going. Intercept The Storm With The Javelins Of Anthem
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 11th of January 2019 - 06:00 PM ]
Anthem Two new videos for Anthem are out there detailing two of the main javelins in Anthem with some different loadouts Earlier in the week we saw how good Anthem could potentially look if you are willing to buy all the latest and greatest hardware out there. It is what they seem to be pushing out at CES this year more than anything. That does not always sell games though so we are back with more from BioWare for the game so we can at least see how it could play in our hands. February 22nd is getting ever closer and I know I want to see how each of the javelins in Anthem will handle or differ. Read More...

Anthem During the NVIDIA CES 2019 keynote, new Anthem gameplay was revealed that shows just how good Anthem could look if you are willing to go PC CES 2019 has kicked off and that means we will start seeing all kinds of videos and trailers showing off the new tech coming just as we have here for Anthem. We have a new bit of gameplay to look at here but the bigger news here is that DLSS is coming to the PC version of the game for those who use an NVIDIA card to drive their games. I am sure that EA would like you to remember that Anthem is coming and that you should pre-order it now, but that would outshine the news that you can get it bundled in with your new GeForce RTX graphics card, laptops, or PCs. Unreal PT Is Here To Try To Recapture The Demo We All Loved
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 4th of January 2019 - 08:00 PM ]
PT Another attempt to recreate PT is here with Unreal PT bringing everything we know about the demo to life and in VR this time If there has been one game/demo that caused a whole lot of stir when it dropped it would have to be PT. It was nothing more than a promotional thing for another game that was canceled, but it caught the hearts and minds of so many gamers out there that it became not only an amazing PS4 experience but had others trying to recreate the whole thing. Usually these have been met swiftly with cease and desist notices being sent to whoever is doing so. That is why we are going to spread the word now that we have another entry into the phenomenon with Unreal PT so you can hopefully download it and see just what a load of passion and time can do for PC gamers who may have missed out. Virtually Choose Your Own Way Through Afterlife
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 26th of December 2018 - 08:00 PM ]
Afterlife The first dev diary for Afterlife is here to show us how the team has started to bring this VR choose-your-own-adventure about the Afterlife to life Here we go with a new little twist on the VR and live-action as Afterlife is bringing both of those together to give us an interesting experience with a Choose-Your-Own-Adventure twist. That is at least as it basically sounds with a darker and grimmer style of story tacked on here. I mean, Signal Space Lab is taking us through an "intimate journey through tragedy, grief, and acceptance" in the experience here so… In any instance, we have a new behind the scenes look at how Afterlife is being put together to show that a great VR game can be done with live-action sequences and not all virtually generated stuff. Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week We are almost at the last week of video games of the year as we head towards Christmas and then New Years. Weirdly, this year did not seem to slow down as we made it to the end and we will all take that. From new things to look at for Devil May Cry 5 and Kingdom Hearts over to other updates for Control and Resident Evil it does not look like we are going to hit a wall here in 2018. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 19th of December 2018 - 08:00 PM ]
Close To The Sun A new publisher is here for Close To The Sun as we head into 2019 and also get some new gameplay for Close To The Sun too boot We have not had too many updates for Close To The Sun here on the site, but it is high time that we did. Especially since we are all clamoring for some gameplay and to find out just when the game is going to hit the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Something that should be a little sooner and easier to do as Storm In A Teacup is now all partnered up with Wired Productions to do just that for Close To The Sun. A happy day indeed for those looking to see if the Unreal Grant was going to be enough or if they were going to be able to focus on making the game we have been looking for since its announcement.
