Borderlands 3 Has A Confirmed Release Date & Fun Special Editions

The release date for Borderlands 3 is now confirmed for this September and we have many ways to pre-order Borderlands 3 right now
It looks like the early tweet "leak" for Borderlands 3’s release date was correct and we will be getting the game on September 13th. Why this was not announced last week when the game was announced at PAX East makes no sense to me but I am sure that 2K or Gearbox had their reasons. Maybe not. Now we can look to see Borderlands 3 on that date for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC via the Epic Games launcher. Bitch all you want about that "PC Master Race". It makes sense for the game to go down that path and it is the most minor of inconvenience for you. Quit your bitching and just get ready to game more.
Since we have a release date announcement for Borderlands 3 now, that also means we have a bunch of ways to buy the game before launch. Three different ways outside of buying just the core game. All with varying DLC to pick up outside of the pre-order bonuses. The big one being the $250 USD version of Borderlands 3 that comes with a physical Diamond Loot Chest from the game. Not made of real diamonds for that price, but I am sure it will look like the in-game version. It will also be filled with all kinds of other loot like mini-figures of the cast of the game and a Snap Model version of Sanctuary 3. Among many other things. I am sure that one will sell out fast.
Toy Box Weapon Pack: 2 Toy guns, Toy grenade mod, trinket
Equippable XP & Loot Drop Boost Mods
4 campaign DLC packs featuring new stories, missions and challenges
Butt Stallion weapon skin, trinket, and grenade mod
Premium Diamond Loot Chest: Featuring a functional retractable lid, this chest is perfect for storing your real-world loot.
Borderlands 3 character figurines (x10): Make room on your shelf for the whole crew, including the four new Vault Hunters, the fanatical Calypso Twins, and some of your favorite characters from the Borderlands universe! Approximately 3.5” tall.
Sanctuary 3 snap model replica: Construct your very own Sanctuary 3 model ship and display it proudly on its included stand.
Planetary Vault Key, keychains (x4): Because you never know when you might stumble across an unopened Vault.
Cloth galaxy map: Discover new worlds beyond Pandora with Typhon DeLeon’s map of the Borderlands.
Character art lithographs (x5): Unique character prints starring the new Vault Hunters and fanatical Calypso Twins.
Borderlands 3 Steelbook case: A gorgeous metal case for any collector’s shelf.
Are you curious as to why they held off on giving us the release date for Borderlands 3 until now when they could have announced it last week to a bigger roar? Are you upset that the game will be on the Epic Games launcher instead of the various other launchers you most likely already have? What do you think about these editions of the game and will you be going for broke with the big one here? Let us know down in the comments and then feel free to discuss. We will have more for Borderlands 3, certainly, and we will have it all here for you. Just be sure to keep swinging on in.
