Shao Kahn Is In Rare For As He Steps Into Mortal Kombat 11

Mortal Kombat

The first real look at Shao Kahn in Mortal Kombat 11 is here as this antagonist from Mortal Kombat history joins in the full fight of the game

One of the characters we have known was coming and playable in Mortal Kombat 11, outside of the main announcement ones, has been Shao Kahn. Just as we knew Goro would be playable in the last one as the character was and is still a pre-order incentive out there from NetherRealm Studios. He even shows up at the end of all of the promotional videos for Mortal Kombat 11 to date. We have not been able to see him in action though, which has left many fans wondering how he will actually handle and look besides sitting on the throne and yelling out commands. That all changes today.

Below you can see the full trailer of Shao Kahn in action for Mortal Kombat 11. Obviously, these are not all of his moves, finishers, and combos in the game, but it gives a good feel for how he will play. Not only that, but it looks like his taunts and teases will be weaponized in the match based on this trailer. I have a feeling they will be more buffs and debuffs based on how things like this have worked for other characters in Mortal Kombat 11. We could be surprised and find out something else is going on for the character. We will need to wait and see on April 23rd for that. That or a later date if you did not pre-order the game yet. It makes sense that Shao Kahn will be purchasable at a later date just as Goro was.

What are your thoughts on Shao Kahn in Mortal Kombat 11 so far? Does he look to be a beast that will be able to dominate the matches fairly easy or will he be too slow and allow players to use that to their advantage? Do you think the taunts will play in a bigger way for the match or are they just fun little things mixed into it all? Let us all know down in the comments and then feel free to discuss.
