Gamedec Will Be Branching Down Many Lines In Its Story
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 29th of June 2021 - 07:00 PM ]
Gamedec Have a look at how Gamedec will have a host of branching narratives driven by almost any action within Gamedec In an RPG like we are getting with Gamedec, one could expect it to have a very linear story we will follow down with a few different bits of dialog to share so we can feel like we are in that role. Could being the key word there as that is not the case here for the game and Anshar Studios wants us all to know it. In fact, they have taken to a whole new video for Gamedec to help explain to us how many different narrative paths we can go down in the game and the various ways we can manipulate it all once September 16th rolls on up and we are able to play it on our PC. Deathtrap Dungeon Another FMV game, Deathtrap Dungeon: The Golden Room, was announced and Deathtrap Dungeon will be using some familiar tech to help tell the story There certainly were more FMV-style video games to show up during this year's E3 and here we go with one more out there for next year with Deathtrap Dungeon: The Golden Room. This would be one more that will be coming out of Wales Interactive to give us more playable movies to enjoy on all of our gaming systems out there. They do know how to make them work and flow, and now we have at least two to look forward to now. Read More...

The Medium Is Finally Opening Up To The PS5 Realm
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 21st of June 2021 - 05:00 PM ]
Medium The Medium has been announced for the PS5 now and we will be able to head into the dual-worlds of The Medium again As if we could not see it coming beforehand, it looks like The Medium is finally making the leap from the Xbox Series X and PC to head over to the PS5. This was one of the smaller announcements that slipped out during E3 this year from Bloober Team and it should be something to excite us all just a bit more. It was another great entry from the developer before when it hit us and now on September 3rd, we will get to experience the dual-world mechanics and maybe with a few new features along the way. They are looking to use the features of the DualSense controller for The Medium to mix in a few things we did not get before; they just are not fully listed as of yet. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 6/14/21 — 6/18/21
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 18th of June 2021 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week That was one whirlwind of a week there and we barely made it through a small slice of those video games that were announced, updated, or just plain shown off here during this year's virtual E3. While it was a bit easier to cover in this manner, it did feel like there are still so many other games to talk about. I am just glad we were able to get to Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy, The Outer Worlds 2, and Redfall here. Read More...

We Might Kill Some Chaos In Stranger Of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 18th of June 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy A new Final Fantasy game was announced during this year’s E3 with Stranger Of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin I hope you are ready for some new kind of chaos in your life, as that is what Stranger Of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin seems to be bringing into it all for us. This would be one of the unnamed titles that Square Enix had to show off during E3 this year and it was definitely one of the more questionable ones. It also happens to be one of those titles that were rumored out there with it being a Soulslike title inspired by Final Fantasy and not any kind of sequel or spin-off that the name might suggest. Given that the trailer here is all about our team of three heading out to kill of chaos and end some nonsense, it has made more of it out there than could have been expected. Read More...

Atomic Heart Bends Some More Reality With Another Questioning Trailer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 16th of June 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
Atomic Heart Atomic Heart took part of the stage during E3 this year with some new gameplay for Atomic Heart to boggle some minds out there It would not be a good E3 again if we did not get an update for the alt-reality title Atomic Heart out of it, and we did get just that. A nice little chunk of gameplay for the game and a little more from Mundfish on what the story of the game could revolve around. In a minor way of things and with some new gameplay that does not exactly explain much, but it is something to look at and see how Atomic Heart could potentially look on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC when it does come at us. Given that it is now slated as a Day One release on Xbox Game Pass, I have a feeling that day might not be too far off. Read More...

Hear The Story Of The White Lady Again For Martha Is Dead
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 14th of June 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
Martha Is Dead More of the story within Martha Is Dead is out here now as we gear up for Martha Is Dead to launch sometime after E3 Things are still creeping out for some smaller titles in the mix of all of the big news out there at E3 and here we go with a bit more for Martha Is Dead. Just a bit more, as it sounds like a bit more of the story we have heard already but not to the point where it feels like LKA could be putting too much out there. Just in the perfect way it should with Wired Productions still poised to get us all Martha Is Dead sometime in the coming year on our PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. The date being something that would have been nice to get but we will certainly take what we can get. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 10th of June 2021 - 07:00 PM ]
Wonderlands New title Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is announced it looks like Wonderlands could be taking us down a different kind of path in the adventure One of the big splashes out of the Summer Game Fest is here with Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands getting the full announcement for a 2022 release. This will be the next big title from Gearbox and 2K to take us on a different kind of adventure out there. Not just a spin-off from the Borderlands or an expansion, but its own title out there that has been in the works for a while. Hot Wheels Unleashed Is Taking Us Into The Skatepark Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 10th of June 2021 - 05:00 PM ]
Hot Wheels The next track area for Hot Wheels Unleashed is here along with a few more of those sweet Hot Wheels cars to race with More tracks are coming for Hot Wheels Unleashed before the September 30th release out there. At least one more here for it all to add to the previous three track sets that we have seen from Milestone to date. This time it looks like we will be taking our Hot Wheels through and around a skatepark now with some of the fun that could be. It does look more like a fun little park and not so much as a skatepark, but there had to be a reason to get some of the music that fits the stereotype in there. Read More...

Cheryl Williams Looks To Be Heading Out Into Evil Dead: The Game
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 8th of June 2021 - 07:00 PM ]
Evil Dead Evil Dead: The Game looks to have another character to show off with Cheryl Williams from the original Evil Dead making a showing Another of those classic characters will be heading back in for Evil Dead: The Game when it comes to us on the various platforms this year. This time it is another character that many might have figured would be in here and would be odd for Saber Interactive to not include. This would be Ash's sister Cheryl from the original Evil Dead coming out swinging with a pickaxe here. We assume it is swinging a pickaxe based on the teaser image we have here right now, but it could be something that changes during the actual gameplay. Read More...
