Dead Space Is No Longer A Solo Horror

Generally in a survival horror game, the protagonist is left isolated and alone for the game with only getting a few "human" interactions along the way to help drive the progression of the game. Think back and see that I am right on this. Are you done? Good. That said, doesn't this seem the age of multiplayer for multiplayer's sake lately? So it should seem no real shock that another great survival horror - in this case Dead Space 2 - has taken on the need for multiplayer. Diablo III Looks Healthy

The Diablo III website was just updated recently with some info about Health in game. Now I know what you're all saying, "We know how health works, kill baddies, pick up orbs and regain health." While this mechanic remains true, we do get a few more details on boss encounters and strategies pertaining to gaining health throughout Sanctuary. Major boss fights make unique use of health globes. For a game that did not appeal to gamers en masse, Naught Bear is not holding back on the DLC they are going to be pumping out for it. 505 Games has already given out some free DLC in the way of an eighth chapter to the story of Naughty Bear. Viva La Claptrap Revolution!

Back in early August we mentioned the new DLC for Borderlands, Claptrap New Robot Revolution. It is bring a bunch of additions to the game, as we mentioned, as well as being included in the GOTY Edition, also mentioned. So what new do we have for you? Not a solid release date, but I'm willing to bet on 9/14, 9/21 or 9/28 if 2K and Gearbox want to keep their September time frame originally mentioned. It is, as you've most likely glanced already, a set of new screens and posters for the DLC. Nothing too revealing, but something to make you look at and give a thought about dropping the $9. Learn Where The Plague Comes From in Dead Rising 2

Dead Rising 2 is only a few weeks out from launch. Wouldn't it be nice to have a solid feel for what is going into the game? You already know the basics of the story, the characters you will encounter, the weapons you'll use as well as the multiplayer. Yea, it kind of would be nice to have it all in one nice little spot. Well at least in four different video spots, which are all shown below. Batman Arkham City Covered In Blue Haze Too

With the new iteration of the Batman: Arkham [Insert Location Here] franchise, a new look will emerge. The technology and graphics capability have been expanded on and it would be irresponsible for the developers over at Rocksteady to not utilize these changes. Even just textures and character models would generally be enough to satisfy the ever-expanding needs and wants of gamers. Well looking below, they are doing just that with Batman: Arkham City and its denizens. Judging from their long line of Alien Breed and Worms titles, it seems like a smart move on their part; but we're not here to discuss Team 17's business model restructure, we're here to talk about Worms Reloaded. Overview For those that have never played Worms before, it is a 2D turn-based strategy game where you take your team of worms and shoot, sheep and blow up the opposing team in spectacular fashion. Borderlands Giving Out DLC For Free

Isn't it always the case now? Everyone is out to make a buck one way or another at the expense of our pockets. The recent price hike for XBL is a good example of that. What you may have missed is the push for Game of the Year (GOTY) or Special Edition versions of games that come loaded with all that expensive DLC pumped out after game launch. Obviously this is simply a play to grab all the people who didn't shell out cash to make sure the DLC was created. LittleBigPlanet and Batman: Arkham Asylum are great examples here of this. The on-line world is in a blaze right now as announced by Major Nelson that Microsoft will be raising the cost of XBox Live Gold membership starting November 1, 2010 in the US, Canada, Mexico and the UK. The new prices for Xbox Live will be this: Well I know for a fact that Michael is probably not happy with the price changes at all, and probably a good majority of its users.
