by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 18th of August 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
Batman: Arkham Knight is getting a few updates for the Season Pass DLC and it looks like we are getting Tim Burton's Batmobile and the Tumbler in the future Batman: Arkham Knight has been out for a while now and there have been some good updates for it so far. Last I heard the PC version was still having issues over the PS4 and Xbox One versions but that is not why we are here today. What we are here for is the fact that there is a new batch of DLC being pumped out for Batman: Arkham Knight and it looks like we are getting some amazing additions in the way of skins and Riddler Caves. In this instance we are getting the Batmobile from the 1989 Tim Burton films. Read More...

Escape Plan Bravo Initiated For Tales From The Borderlands Next Week
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 12th of August 2015 - 07:02 PM ]
Episode four for Tales From The Borderlands is releasing next week and we have a few screenshots to whet the whistle for the new addition to Tales From The Borderlands The wait is over as we have a release date for the next episode of Tales From The Borderlands. Only a two month wait for this episode titled Escape Plan Bravo so it looks like Telltale Games is getting back into the swing of things and keeping us all going on their titles. Even better that it is one of their better ones to me and still encompassing around Gearbox's franchise that we are all wait to get another addition to outside of Tales From The Borderlands. Maybe we'll all luck out and Tales From The Borderlands will culminate into an official Borderlands 3 announcement using some of the cannon that is being set here. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 8/3/15 — 8/7/15
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of August 2015 - 11:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games As Gamescom comes to a warp here we too come to wrap up another week in video games. There was so much to take in for this week we didn't get a chance to cover most things that cropped up for the industry at all. We tried our damnedest to do so but we are still just a small and fierce team. When the likes of Rock Band 4, Mad Max, and Final Fantasy XV are hammering us with so much it is hard to cover all video games out there or in the works. Hells, there was also a whole lot of Metal Gear Solid V that was handed out and we were only able to cover so little on it even though it was a huge thing. Read More...

Faith Is Restored With New Mirror's Edge Catalyst Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 6th of August 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
A new gameplay trailer for Mirror's Edge Catalyst was shown off at Gamescom 2015 and it shows us all that Mirror's Edge Catalyst will be the reboot to the franchise we've wanted When I first heard that Mirror's Edge Catalyst was going to be a reboot of sorts for the franchise I was a little worried as I didn't think it needed a reboot. After my experience with it at E3 I was calmed down a little as it looked like DICE was going in the right direction even if it felt more like an expansion to the world and not a new title. After seeing what EA had to present for Mirror's Edge Catalyst during Gamescom here I think my worries are now pretty much faded away as even if it isn't going to be coined a sequel Mirror's Edge Catalyst is exactly what I was hoping for back when it was called Mirror's Edge 2. All Kinds Of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Multiplayer Explained
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 6th of August 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
Another long demo of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain from Gamescom 2015 has been shown off and it explains more on Mother Base and the FOB multiplayer aspect of The Phantom Pain Get ready for a nice long Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain session here today as we have even more gameplay and trailers for the game to sink our eyes into right from Gamescom. With under a month left until the game hits the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC on September 1st and given all of the footage we've seen up until now you would think that Konami would hold back to give us something to experience firsthand in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain but thus is not the case. What is also not the case is that even though we have another 30+ minutes of gameplay to spy on it still feels like Kojima Productions has a lot more added into The Phantom Pain that we haven't seen just yet as well. During the Microsoft press event the team from Remedy Games not only showed a new trailer but also showed another good chunk of Quantum Break gameplay as well as showing us the level of star power that the developer and publisher were able to get on board for Quantum Break. I am sure you'll see quite a few familiar faces in the videos below at least if you are a fan of anything in the geek/nerd genre of culture. I mean if you are getting excited for Quantum Break on the Xbox One then you will most likely know all of the faces here. Read More...

A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games And thus concludes another week of news in video games. Well news, reviews, and conjecture for video games but that didn't seem to have a nice ring to it. None the less it was a week of Assassin's Creed Syndicate, The Walking Dead, and a few reviews. SDCC Experience — The Walking Dead Escape 2015
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 23rd of July 2015 - 10:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead Escape Was Back At SDCC Giving All Of Us A Feel For What A Survival Horror Game Really Feels Like Another SDCC down and another fun run of The Walking Dead Escape to show us all how a survival horror kind of game could be like in the real world. If this is your first time reading about The Walking Dead Escape this would be the zombie obstacle course that has been set up out in San Diego's Petco Park for the fourth year running. Pun intended. The quick breakdown, if you don't want to read our original write up, is that you get grouped together with a small group of other "Runners" and then set loose to get from one end of a set up obstacle course to the other all while a group of other paid participants dressed as the "Walkers" try to corner you and end your life. Hidden Gems In Batman: Arkham Knight Uncovered Based On Dates Again
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 22nd of July 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
A new event and Easter Egg in Batman: Arkham Knight has been discovered although you might want to skip if you want to keep your Batman: Arkham Knight experience spoiler free It really is no surprise that Batman: Arkham Knight has at least one interesting "Easter Egg" that is all based on the current date of the system you are playing on. I mean, Rocksteady Games made it a trophy in their last title in the franchise so it would be safe to assume that something would have to be added in for Arkham Knight right? Even if Calendar Man isn't one of the big bad villains in this game. Read More...

According to Amazon we now have a release date for Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition as well as how much we will be paying for the HD version of Darksiders 2 and its DLC It looks like we now have a release date for the Darksiders 2: The Deathinitive Edition; at least if you want to take what Amazon currently has listed completely to heart. It's not like they were wrong before when they posted all of the other HD versions of Nordic Games' properties were coming.
