Mortal Kombat X's Online Mode Is Getting Some Enhancements

Mortal Kombat X

A beta for Mortal Kombat X's online mode's enhancements has been announced and players can join to help make Mortal Kombat X the best game that it can be

If you are into helping developers make games better then here is your chance to help Mortal Kombat X's online mode to get some new and great improvements. In fact NetherRealm Studios is looking for PS4 and Xbox One players of Mortal Kombat X to help beta test the new enhancements to their online gameplay. In this case it looks like it will be in terms of 1v1 multiplayer matches for Mortal Kombat X but I am guessing it will branch out into all of the online modes for the game currently and most likely new ones yet to be announced. Just seems how things go here.

Not much else has been given about this new Mortal Kombat X Enhanced Online gameplay but as of right now you can sign up to join the test. Al it requires is that you go to beta.mortalkomabt.com, sign up, and have logged at least one hour of online gameplay to date in Mortal Kombat X's current multiplayer modes. I'm not sure if that time has to have been racked up before now or if players can still rack it up now but at this point who hasn't put in that amount of time into Mortal Kombat X as of yet? I'm betting very few. Then you just have to hope you are selected for the closed beta.

With the MKX Enhanced Online Beta, we are exploring new technology and methodology to bring our fans more responsive, seamless online matches. Throughout this multi-week event, we will be listening to our fans as they tell us what is working, and more importantly, what still needs improvements.

We mentioned 1v1 matches for Mortal Kombat X here but it also looks for this there will be limited characters from the beginning to play with. The list of fighters is Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Jacqui Briggs, and Johnny Cage but more Mortal Kombat X characters should be coming at some point to ensure everyone flows correctly. It would be a little odd if NetherRealm Studios didn't bring the whole roster over at some point but Mortal Kombat X does have a huge list so the closed beta could be a smaller list and then the full list when all the kinks are worked out.

What enhancements do you think will be on their way to Mortal Kombat X's online modes given this new beta? Do you think that NetherRealm Studios will bring all of the characters over for the beta or just the big ones to make sure the flow is going with as little work as possible? Are you still a huge Mortal Kombat X player or has it fallen to the side over the year? Let us know and discuss in the comments below. As we get further information out of Warner Bros. for Mortal Kombat X we will update it all here. Be sure to keep on a lookout here for all of that as it comes.
