Mortal Kombat X
A new gameplay trailer for Mortal Kombat X's Kombat Pack 2 has been released to show off a bit on all of the new Mortal Kombat X characters coming in this upcoming DLC
The tease and reveal for Mortal Kombat X's Kombat Pack 2 characters has come and gone a while ago. Thankfully the time gap hasn't been too great before NetherRealm Studios gave a nice look at each of the new Mortal Kombat X characters in action. Granted it isn't anything like we have seen in previous Kombat Kasts from the past but it is a nice showing of what we can expect in Mortal Kombat X from Alien, Leatherface, Triborg, and Bo’ Rai Cho when the DLC lands on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC sometime this year.
Not to keep you any longer from the footage for Mortal Kombat X's new characters though. Here is the promised footage from Warner Bros. and NetherRealm for the Kombat Pack 2 characters.
Mortal Kombat X — Kombat Pack 2 Gameplay
So it does look like the Xenomorph from Alien is going to be taking over the role of Baraka in Mortal Kombat X from the move set. At least in one form of things. It had everything down to the slice-n-dice arm waves mixed in. Also it does look like Leatherface is going to be a more agile character in Mortal Kombat X than Jason was based on what we saw. Kind of weird given the chainsaw would be heavier and slower to swing but I guess they were going more for the feel of the character instead of real world physics.
If you stuck around after the Mortal Kombat X gameplay you might have seen a few other little extras coming along in the Kombat Pack 2 DLC. Like the pre-order only fighter Goro and a whole lot of other skins for your characters. Also a new Scorpion although I am pretty sure that he should have just been listed in the Kold War pack for Mortal Kombat X instead of on his own. It's not like he would be a whole new characters as it is just a skin in that setting. Marketing I guess…
Here a full detailed list of all the skin packs coming to Mortal Kombat X in the Kombat Pack 2 DLC.
- Goro — The feral, four-armed Shokan warrior will be available as a playable combatant.
- Apocalypse Pack — The Apocalypse Pack features three new character skins, reimagining characters Takeda, D’Vorah and Erron Black with an apocalyptic theme.
- Brazil Pack — The Brazil Pack features three new character skins: Futbol Cage, Capoeira Liu Kang and Gaucho Kung Lao.
- Kold War Pack — The Kold War Pack includes three new character skins: Motherland Sonya, Tundra Sub-Zero and Revolution Kano.
- Kold War Scorpion — Kold War-themed Scorpion character skin.
Now that you've seen the new Mortal Kombat X characters in action, what do you think? Do you see one of the Xenomorph's styles being a Baraka style or are you still holding out for that character to get a full release from NetherRealm Studios? Are you glad to see that Goro will now be added in for all in Mortal Kombat X along with the other characters? Let us know what you think and feel down in the comments below. As we get more, and we know there will be for Mortal Kombat X, from Warner Bros. we will have it up on the site so be sure to keep tuned in for all of that as it flows.
