Let's Relive How One Of Detroit: Become Human's Leads Came To Be
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 28th of November 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
Detroit Close to six years later, the mind behind Detroit: Become Human takes a look back & gives some insight on how one of Detroit's leads came to be There are a lot of gamers out there that are excited for Detroit: Become Human after its first unveiling, but there is also a huge portion of that crowd that has little to no knowledge of where it all started. I have personally talked to a few people who had no clue that its original starting was with a tech demo that Quantic Dream put out there to see if they could use their new animation process on the PS3. This was way back in March of 2012. Read More...

Kara Is Back For Detroit: Become Human & Every Choice Has A Consequence
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 31st of October 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Detroit Paris Games Week has another trailer for us for Detroit: Become Human and it shows us how every little choice in Detroit can have huge consequences Another great look at Detroit: Become Human has just come out of Paris Games Week and it brings back the character that started off all of the hype for the game back when Quantic Dream was doing just a tech demo for the animation and capture processes. Maybe you remember Kara or maybe you do not, but that does not change the fact that she is back in the game and looks like she is fresh off a memory wipe in the game. At least in the scene that we get to see play out just a bit here for Detroit. Read More...

Things Can Always Play Differently In Detroit: Become Human
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 2nd of October 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Detroit A new version of the same Detroit: Become Human gameplay is out from EGX and it is showing the degree of difference that each play of Detroit: Become Human can have By now you have most likely seen a whole lot of video for Detroit: Become Human and have seen how one of the main missions in the game will play out. It has been what Quantic Dream has been showing off at each of the major events as of late and there is good reason for it. The big reason being that each play of Detroit: Become Human will be almost completely different based on all of the minor choices and actions we choose to take in the game. Read More...

Detroit: Become Human Has A New, Fiery Trailer Out Of TGS
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 19th of September 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Detroit We have a new trailer for Detroit: Become Human fresh from the Tokyo Game Show and it adds a little more excitement into Detroit: Become Human It looks like we have a new trailer for Detroit: Become Human fresh out of the Tokyo Game Show that is going on, and all to whet our whistles for the game as we wait for it to hit the PS4 sometime in 2018. So far it has been rather impressing to see what Quantic Dream has put together for this new narrative title, so there is a lot of excitement around this new trailer and what else we can learn from it. Although I am sure on of the big things, like release date, will not be part of it. Read More...

E3 Hands On — Detroit: Become Human
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 13th of June 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Detroit While at E3 I was able to see Detroit: Become Human in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here's my take on Detroit: Become Human. With each new trailer for Detroit: Become Human, the game looks more and more impressive in terms of animation and visuals. There is no denying that Quantic Dream has something special here in terms fo all of that. While it is all nice to look at and experience, that, of course, does not make a game by itself and there should be a lot more to Detroit: Become Human to make it more than just a pretty walking simulator. Thankfully, before the major PlayStation conference, I was able to give a small demo of the game a spin to see just how it plays and if it will be a great experience on the PS4 when it finally launches. Detroit: Become Human Has More To Offer Out Of The E3 Demo
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 29th of June 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Detroit A new behind the scenes video for Detroit: Become Human has been released and it takes us deeper into how Detroit is being built to give us a rich experience I won't deny that Detroit: Become Human had me hooked way back when the first teaser for the game popped up as Kara. Hopefully you remember way back when she and the teaser for the game came out when Quantic Dream showed here off last year. It will make the rest of this a bit easier and also make sure you know of one of the other main characters we will be playing in Detroit when it launches on the PS4. A second protagonist was announced during E3 as we were given a nice little demo of the gameplay. Read More...

New Heavy Rain PS4 Screenshots To See How Well The Game Weathered
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 20th of November 2015 - 08:00 PM ]
Heavy Rain A new set of screenshots for Heavy Rain on the PS4 have surfaced to let us see how well Heavy Rain held up from last gen to next gen It has barely been a day since we heard that Heavy Rain was hitting the PS4 on March 1st with all of the upgrades. I figured we wouldn't see any updates or anything until after the PSX this year when Quantic Dream will have a chance to show things off to more fans out there. Looks like I may have been wrong as it looks like we have a few new screenshots for Heavy Rain on the PS4 to show us how well the characters and world are going to make the leap from the PS3 to the PS4. Happy day and more Heavy Rain please! Read More...

Dreams Can Come True As Dream Has A Launch Date Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 17th of July 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
Indie game Dream now has a release date after two long years of being up on Steam Early Access bringing the developer’s dream of Dream being a reality to life It looks like dreams can come true as the narrative indie game Dream has an official release date and it is July 31st. This may not seem like a huge deal as it is a smaller title but for Hypersloth Games this is a huge success as they have been trying to get things official for almost two years now. Now Dream is becoming a reality and available for all of those PC gamers out there who are interested in giving this mind-bending adventure title a go. Think of it like diving into the mind of a not-so-mad-man where you will have to overcome the nightmares and dreams he is having. Read More...

Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy Remastered Is What Quantic Dream Was Teasing
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 28th of January 2015 - 08:00 PM ]
Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy Remastered is being released for PC, Mac, Linux, iOS, and Android as well as looks like the big tease that Quantic Dream and Aspyr had for us Remember last week when we brought up the tease that Quantic Dream had for us for this week? Well it turns out my second thought on what was being teased was pretty much spot on as we have Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy Remastered coming out tomorrow (1/29/15) for PC, Linux, Mac, and iOS with an Android version to follow sometime soon. So I guess it is much less a tease than it is an announcement with extremely little lead in time for anyone out there to clear out their backlog a bit to give Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy Remastered a solid play through. I guess all of the fans of the franchise won't care about something like that though and will just throw their $9. Read More...

Quantic Dream Is Announcing Something New On January 28th
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 21st of January 2015 - 10:00 PM ]
Quantic Dream has a new teaser site up and ominous Tweets about a possible new IP being announced on January 28th 2015 Quantic Dream has a nice little list of titles under their belt and it looks like there may be one more getting added into the mix. Most recently they have made huge splashes on the PS3 with Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls. Both great titles in my opinion even though most other outlets and gamers would greatly disagree. They've also made another title that was well received on the PS2, Xbox, and PC called Indigo Prophecy if you are still here trying to find a reason to care about this new little tease from Quantic Dream. Review: Beyond: Two Souls
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 15th of October 2013 - 09:10 PM ]
Beyond: Two Souls has finally come out and worked its way into our gaming world. If you've been hiding under a rock and just stumbled upon this review by accident, this is the new title written and directed by David Cage of Heavy Rain fame. Quantic Dream being the developer in case you are in from that angle. Either way, in case you are on the fence about giving Beyond: Two Souls a play or a purchase, I am here again to help you make an informed-ish decision. The Story This is a story about a girl, Ellen Page Jodie Holmes, who is 'different' and refuses to use lip balm that also happens to have been born with an 'entity' or ghost attached to her. Let's Take Another Look Behind Beyond: Two Souls
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 24th of July 2013 - 09:46 PM ]
I swear if there ends up being more "behind the scenes" than actual game play for Beyond: Two Souls I will start a riot. I'm talking a full scale riot where we end up with a plethora of ghost wandering around attaching themselves to little kids so they can make the experience we should have received. Now that's a riot. Let us hope that things don't need to progress to that point and let us place our hope that the game will be long and awesome enough to have necessitated all these behind the scenes video. Who Wants To See The Game Play Of Beyond: Two Souls?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 3rd of May 2013 - 06:16 PM ]
Did you missed the Tribeca Film Festival, and in turn the new footage for Beyond: Two Souls? This is most likely the case if you clicked in here to see the new trailer and about 35 minutes of the actual game play. If the reports of Beyond only being an average of ten hours long, that's about 1/20 of the actual game. Isn't that lovely? In the instance that you are one of those "don't want to spoil anything" people, I'll give you a run down on what is touched on in the longer video besides a bit of the story. Read More...
