E3 2014 Hands On: Battlefield: Hardline

While At E3 I Got To See Battlefield: Hardline In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It If there was one game at E3 that made an impression before I even got to play it, it was Battlefield: Hardline. Unlike most games on the show floor where there is just a themed room/area for a game; there was a whole experience for Hardline at the EA booth. All who were playing had to be "processed" and moved along into a semi-interactive experience. E3 2014 Hands On: Battlecry

While At E3 I Got To See Battlecry In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It Announced just before E3 we have Battlecry from Bethesda and BattleCry Studios. This is the new title that is a 32 player multiplayer hack 'n' slash title where players take on the role of one of five classes from one of three different factions in the game. Up until now we only had a nice CGI trailer for the game and a few screen shots that showed off the cell shaded looking world of visceral combat. Luckily it was also available to play while on the floor of E3 and I got to play quite a few matches of the game as one of the enforcers in the game. Read More...

EA's E3 2014 Press Conference Recap

A transcript of EA's 2014 E3 press conference Like any press conference should start, EA's began with the CEO Andrew Wilson taking the stage and welcoming everyone to E3 and their press conference. He immediately sets the show off by announcing a video for Star Wars: Battlefront will be shown at E3. He announces that the conference will be showing games releasing in the upcoming months and other games that will take longer but we'd get more in-depth looks. Go Into The Urban Jungle With Battlefield: Hardline

EA and Visceral Games have made Battlefield: Hardline official and here is the trailer for the game to prove it I guess it only took a few 'leaks' of Battlefield: Hardline before EA and Visceral decided to let the secret out into the wild. It is sad that all of these other 'reputable' and 'deserving of early footage' outlets have decided to ruin the fun and excitement that I am sure EA was looking for at E3 but what is done is done. We can now be certain that Battlefield: Hardline is coming and that we will hopefully be getting a nice long look at it on the show floor and moving forward in the coming months leading up to the full launch of the game. BattleCry Studios Has Announced Their First Title…Battlecry

Bethesda and BattleCry Studios have just announced the studio's first title Battlecry in wonderful CG trailer form. Some of you may have heard of BattleCry Studios being founded back in 2012. Some of you, maybe not. None the less after two years of being in service it looks like we are getting a look at the developer's first title that just also happens to share the company's name; Battlecry. Not many points on being creative in naming either the title or the company but at least most of us will never forget one or the other. EA E3 Media Briefing Recap

Games seem to be the main focus during this years E3 press events and it's about damn time. Let's take a look at what was revealed during this years EA Press Conference. Plants VS Zombies: Garden Warfare Think Team Fortress 2 with the PVZ flare. Crazy Dave is back It will be wave based with boss fights Dragon Age III: Inquisition Morgan is back Will be coming out Fall 2014 Not much else was revealed except for shit hitting the fan in the story Star Wars Battlefront We also got a lot of awkward moments during the “EA Sports” section. Where Is The Teamwork When You Need It?

In a world full of Halos and Call of Dutys where players can be a one man army and carry their entire team to victory, how is it games like Army of Two, Medal of Honor: Warfighter, or even Battlefield manage to have such a large player base? The amount of people who group together isn't as large as it would seem. People, like me, don't have friends to play these games with because our friends either don't buy the game or trade it in shortly after it's released. So now I run into team based games alone and I'm forced to group up with people who either don't have a microphone or sit in a party with their friends who are playing different games. Read More...

Trailer Park (11/9/11)

Alright it's time for the next installment to Trailer Park! First up we got a magnificent trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword for the Wii, showing off some beautiful landscapes and scenery featured in game, as well as some game play and story elements all to a gorgeous orchestral number. Now I sadly will not be getting Skyward Sword, as much as I would like to simply because I don't have a Wii and I really don't plan on ever getting one. So What Did You Think About Rage?

Now that Id Software's new IP is out, what do you guys think about it?I was thoroughly impressed with the demo Id showed off earlier this year at PAX East and eagerly waited for its release in August, but sadly it was pushed back to October. I was perfectly ok with that since I knew the finished product was going to blow my mind into oblivion, but I guess it is safe to say that I'm slightly disappointed.
