There Is Still Hope For Another Darksiders Title To Come To Light
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 12th of May 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
Joe Madureira, former Creative Director for Darksiders, has indicated that the franchise is not dead. To all of you Darksiders fans out there it looks like there is still hope for another title in the franchise even though the original publisher has gone the way of the Dodo. According to Joe Madureira, you will know him as the Creative Director for Darksiders, "Nordic Games seems very committed to continuing the series." At least this was part of a recent Facebook posting from the former Creative Director. So that pretty much means that there is a great possibility and nothing set in stone as of yet. Read More...

Sad News As Dying Light Has Been Delayed Until February 2015
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 9th of May 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
Dying Light has been pushed back a few months now to better improve core aspects of the game. I could have sworn that Dying Light looked to be nearing the end of its development road. Even back when I first saw the demo at E3 last year the game seriously looked like it could have made an October 2013 release date if Techland and Warner Bros. truly pushed. Obviously they did not and now it would seem that is a good thing as even under the normal development cycle has left things wanting. Read More...

In The Wake Of World Of Darkness MMO Cancellation Comes 'Leaked' Images & Documents
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 7th of May 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
Documents and images from the canceled World Of Darkness MMO have popped up on Reddit and we have them here. I am still taken back by the cancellation of the World Of Darkness MMO from last month. I love playing the table top and LARP versions of the game system and was feverishly looking forward to the MMO coming out and no longer requiring to have to hound a bunch of friends together to play in the world. It has been taken away from us now and there is nothing to do about but hope that someday the World Of Darkness MMO might be revisited. Until then, here is a load of 'leaked' information and images to show why the cancellation was required. Read More...

The mind behind Mortal Kombat may be teasing a June 2nd event that could be another title to the franchise. There are stretch rumors and then there are really stretch rumors like this one for a new Mortal Kombat to be announced just before E3. Some eagle eyed internet users who have been paying close attention to Ed Boon's Twitter account have been piecing together the ramblings and musings of the co-creator of Mortal Kombat or stumbled upon an odd countdown to something. Here are the following tweets that have come out since May 4th. 2:33 PM - 4 May 2014 Square root of 841. Read More...

Even More Coming Out For Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 6th of May 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
Eight new screens have shown up for Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare showing even more of the future tech and world. Now that the PR train is rolling for Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare it almost feels like I should be waiting to get everything out in one big push. Then I look at what is coming and realize that most of you are most likely of the mind set of "I want it now!" That being said, I couldn't hold back the new set of screen shots for Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare even though they really don't come along with any real news or updates. They do however come along with a bunch of new things to pine over and speculate on. Read More...

New Details Around Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare Have Emerged
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 5th of May 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
The official announcement and press release for Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare has been opened up and not leaked now. I am sure by now you have seen the Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare announcement trailer. If you were like me then you most likely may have been wondering how the visuals didn't seem to coincide with the teased in-game screen shots. After seeing the following screen shots I think I will place most of the blame on the limitations of YouTube instead of what we will actually be getting on our PCs and next-gen consoles. This is what I am talking about that has impressed with Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare. Read More...

Here We Go With The First Screens For Tales From The Borderlands
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 5th of May 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
Telltale Games and Gearbox Software have released a small set of screen shots from their upcoming title Tales From The Borderlands. It is time for all of you Borderlands fans to lose you shit as we now have the first official screen shots for the Telltale and Gearbox collaboration Tales From The Borderlands. To be honest, they also look exactly how I imagined everything would look for the game as well. As the original announcement and showcasing presented it would look just like Borderlands 2 as far as what is on screen with a stylized version of the dialog controls Telltale uses in all of their episodic games. So The Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare Announcement Has Been Leaked…
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 2nd of May 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
The trailer for the upcoming Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare has been leaked spoiling the fun for Activision. There always seems to be one shit head who wants to ruin the fun and this time it is for the new Call Of Duty game. Last night the trailer that was being teased all day yesterday popped up on line and officially announced Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare. I say officially as this prompted Activision and Sledgehammer Games to drop the new trailer three days in advance to not miss out on the hype train they were building. As the teaser site has yet to be updated I am still hopeful for something else to come out and drown out all that "May The 4th" bull shit that will now definitely be flooding over talk of the next Call Of Duty. Here Is A Bit To Look Forward To For Mario Kart 8
by Julia Schoebel [ Thursday, 1st of May 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
A new 'features' trailer for Mario Kart 8 shows off levels, characters, and tracks. I'll be honest that I had no clue that we were up to Mario Kart 8 now. I am also not the biggest Nintendo gamer as of the last few years so it is easy to see how that may have fallen through the crack of my attention. None the less Mario Kart 8 is coming out later this month (May) and there is a new trailer showing off all of the cool new stuff that is going to be in the game. Not to mention how the Mario Kart franchise has evolved from the days of yore to the modern day. Read More...

Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes Has Been Officially Announced
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 30th of April 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes has been announced and shown off in a huge Disney Infinity 2.0 event. Back at the beginning of the month we got a nice tease showing off what is now known as Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes. At first it looked like it was going to be Disney Infinity with a few Marvel heroes added in. With the hour long session that took place today (4/30/14) it looks like it is a whole lot more. In fact quite the opposite as it sounds like a Marvel version of the game with a few Disney character being added in along the line. Read More...

For Whom The Bell Killer Tolls In Murdered: Soul Suspect
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 30th of April 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
A new trailer for Murdered: Soul Suspect has been released showing off the Bell Killer, main antagonist, and his kills. Now this is the kind of trailer I have been waiting for to come out for Murdered: Soul Suspect. It doesn't show off any new mechanics or non-scripted gameplay but it does show off more of the story and not just the three same scenes we've seen since the announcement of the game. More so, there is more on the Bell Killer, he's now names, and all the madness that he or she is causing throughout Salem as if murdering Ronan wasn't enough. Then again if that was enough Murdered: Soul Suspect wouldn't have much of a story for us to play through now would it. Read More...

A new teaser for the PC version of Plants Vs Zombies: Garden Warfare brings us a release date. Good news for all of those who don't want to be limited to playing Plants Vs Zombies: Garden Warfare on their Xbox Ones and Xbox 360s. It looks like the PC version of the game is coming to our PCs via Origin on June 27th. We even have a fun little teaser video proving just that a little bit lower on this page as well. With that, there is really nothing else to say outside of what should already be known from the other version of Plants Vs Zombies: Garden Warfare. Read More...

Could We Be Seeing A Remake Of The Original Metal Gear Games?
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Monday, 28th of April 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
An interview question gets Hideo Kojima talking about remakes of the early Metal Gear franchise. In a recent interview on Twitch Hideo Kojima talked for a whole hour. Some stuff we already knew but a fan question made the future seem even brighter. While it would probably be very far off into the future it still makes my heart beat with glee. The only hope we have is that Kojima said he would like to remake the first two Metal Gear games. He also said when asked about DLC for Ground Zeroes that it would only push The Phantom Pain back further. Read More...
