South Park A new video for South Park: The Fractured But Whole has been released and it pokes fun at the Oculus Rift in only a way that South Park can Hopefully by now you are fully aware of the crude and toilet humor that South Park: The Fractured But Whole is going to have mixed into the game. If you clicked in here than you have to know as the franchise is heading into its 20 season and this will be Ubisoft's second major foray into crafting an RPG for the franchise. It is still slated for a December 6th release for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC before you fear that it was delayed but it does look like Gamescom may have something stinky from this South Park title on hand during the major convention. Mafia 3 Two new video s for Mafia 3 have been released with one showing off the 3rd lieutenant and the other Mafia 3's districts built in the city It looks like I may have spoken too soon on the lieutenant side of things yesterday for Mafia 3. Yes, we had a good behind the scenes look at Cassandra as Hangar 13 has crafted her but I know I was looking to find out about Vito Scaletta and his whole story. Or at least as much of the story for Mafia 3 as 2K Games is willing to give us all as we wait for the October 7th release date for the game. Gwent The closed beta date for Gwent: The Witcher Card Game has been pushed off from the original timeline but now we have a solid date for Gwent's closed beta now I hope you weren't sitting around waiting to find out the specific date in September you might be able to give Gwent: The Witcher Card Game a play. If you were then you are going to be let down or left wanting as CD Projekt RED has just stated that they are going to have to delay the closed beta of the game and, most likely, the final release as well. At least it is safe to assume that the full release of Gwent will also be hit with the same delay as I am sure they are going to want to make sure they can get as much testing in before it goes to market; especially based on their reasons for the delay. Mafia 3 A new behind the scenes video for Mafia 3 has been let loose and it gives us even more insight into Mafia 3's Cassandra; the Voodoo Queen I know I was looking forward to hearing more about the lieutenants of Mafia 3, specifically the third one, and it looks like we have more right here. Sadly, it isn't on the third lieutenant but a behind the scenes video from Hangar 13 on more of Cassandra's motives and wants in the game and overall story. I was pretty sure that we had a good taste from 2K Games so far on Cassandra out of Mafia 3 to keep us up to snuff until October 7th. Final Fantasy XV New details for Final Fantasy XV's Season Pass bundle have been revealed as well as new Final Fantasy XV screenshots to gaze upon Last week we saw a Season Pass of DLC get listed on all of the digital stores for Final Fantasy XV. Not much was explained on any of it and most of the details we had was based on a translation from the Japanese listing where Square Enix gave only a few more tidbits of information. Fast-forward to today and now we have some solid details on this Final Fantasy XV Season Pass and all of the pre-order bonuses that we will get if we choose to pick it all up before September 30th on the PS4 or Xbox One. Gears Of War 4 New gameplay for Gears Of War 4 has been released and it is aimed to show us how the new enemies of Gears Of War 4, the Deebee, will be a force to fear Only a few months now until we will be playing Gears Of War 4 and seeing all of the new features, missions, and enemies coming to the franchise. The Coalition has been working hard on it all and October 11th will be the date that we all get to see the game in action on the Xbox One and Windows PC. Thankfully though, we won't have to wait that long to get to see some of the new enemies for Gears Of War 4 as we have some new gameplay to look at as Old-Man Fenix and his son fight their way through the game's world and the new enemies called the Deebee. Hitman The foruth episode of Hitman has a release date now and it looke like Hitman is taking us to Bangkok in a few week's time It looks like that long wait that I was scared of before when it came to Hitman's full new episodes were a little premature. I say this as now it looks like Io Interactive has put the final touches on the fourth episode of the game and we are going to be getting it on August 16th. Not too terrible of a turnaround time and I am sure that Square Enix is still happy to have more Hitman stuff to push as we wait for all of their other IPs to hit the PS4, Xbox One, and PC in due time. Prey The first gameplay trailer for Prey has been released out of QuakeCon and now we see how Prey will take a different story path than before It was announced at E3 and now out of QuakeCon this year we have our first bit of gameplay for Prey to gaze upon and see how the reboot is going. I have no doubt that Arkane Studios is going to do an amazing job with this iteration of the game given their past but it is nice to be able to see it all in action. Great minds think alien here as Bethesda has given us that taste of Prey that we are all looking for as we wait until 2017 for it to finally land on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Call Of Duty A new trailer for Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare has been released and we get to see an in-game cut scene from this Call Of Duty that impresses Last we saw from Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare we had some new gameplay for the game to show off how the combat will flow. This also happened to come out around the same time that Infinity Ward was sitting in a room explaining to fans just how the cinematic world will play out and be enjoyed. Seemed a bit off given the timing but now it seems that Activision is going to fix that as we have a new trailer for the upcoming addition to the Call Of Duty franchise that shows off a bit of the story and just how these scenes will play out. Mafia 3 The next lieutenant of Mafia 3 has been given the trailer treatment and here we get to know Mafia 3's Thomas Burke, the anarchist of the bunch Last week we got to see the Voodoo Queen for Mafia 3 and now this week we get to see the Anarchist in action for the game. This would be the Irish fellow we've seen in the past videos that 2K Games has given us and the most chaotic addition for the bunch. Final Fantasy XV A season pass for Final Fantasy XV has popped up online for pre-order and it looks to add interesting things to Final Fantasy XV over the few months after launch Not the exact new I was expecting for Final Fantasy XV but it looks like there is a Season Pass worth of DLC coming to the game after launch. Not only that but it looks like Square Enix quietly let the cat out of the bag by making the Season Pass or upgraded version of the game available on the PlayStation store for pre-order. Final Fantasy XV A fresh batch of screenshots for Final Fantasy XV have been released and we get to see the shops and a few Final Fantasy XV characters in the wild I'm guessing that since Final Fantasy XV is still hitting us all on September 30th that we are going to be in a lull on the updates and news for the game. Deus Ex A new look at all of the cities for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided have come out as well as just how to pronounce Deus Ex correctly We are a mere few weeks out from the launch of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided and the news and updates still keep flowing out here. Granted one of the updates we have here are some great views of the game's world and the other is a fun video put together but Eidos-Montréal more than anything. It would seem about right that we are hitting this stride for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided given August 23rd not being too far away but none the less we have more to look at to get us all prepped for the game. Paragon The next hero added to Paragon has been shown off and now we can see what to expect from The Fey as she joins Paragon's fight It's crazy to think that it's already been three weeks since the last big update for Paragon and now we have yet another character joining the huge fight in terms of The Fey. This would be the new character coming from Epic Games in the big update here on August 2nd for the game on the PS4 and PC. Outlast 2 It looks like Outlast 2 has been hit with delays and we won't be seeing Outlast 2 this October but sometime next year Looks like some sad news has been added into the mix as it looks like Outlast 2 is going to be delayed until Q1 of 2017. This is never the news you want to get for your game but here it is none the less right from Red Barrels' social feeds. Although to be fair Outlast 2 never had a set date before now outside of October. Ideally this would have been perfect for a horror game but as it seems most of the horror titles end up in February instead of during the traditional month of terror. Read More...
