Prey
Another trailer for Prey is here and this one goes over all the fun gadgets and gear we'll have to play with in Prey when it launches
Another week and another video here for Prey. With May 5th quickly approaching, I know I still have many questions and things I want to see from Arkane Studios and it looks like they are going to deliver it all right up until the launch. Well, at least as much as Bethesda will let them until then. For now though it looks like we have another great look at Prey and the weapons and gear that we will be using here soon to take down the Typhon that are plaguing our ship. I at least thing it is our ship in some form given the narrative we've had so far, but I digress.
In this new video, we do see quite a few of the bits of gear that we've seen in all of the other Prey related videos out there. The GLOO Canon and the Transcribe tablet being the main items. We do also get to see some pretty nifty grenade type weapons in the mix here though with the Recycler and the Typhon Lure. The Lure doing just about what you would think it would do by drawing all of the nearby Typhon to it. The Recycler is a grenade that will suck in enemies and items that are in close proximity to it and then spit out all the crafting items that made them up. As it looks, that one is just a quick way to kill some enemies and skip the slower process of going to the machines and inventory to do just that. I'll totally take that for now.
Have a look at all the fun gear, gadgets, and weapons that Arkane Studios has for us in Prey so far. I am sure there will be a whole lot more in the game when it hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on May 5th. Until then, we need to keep an eye out for all of it and then get ready to conquer the world of Prey.
Prey — Hardware Labs – Weapons, Gadgets, Gear
Welcome to the Hardware Labs aboard Talos I. It’s here that many of the station’s gadgets, gears and weapons have been built. Take a look at just a few of the items you’ll have at your disposal when facing the alien threat in Prey. Along with a wide range of abilities (both human and alien), Morgan Yu has a full arsenal of killer gear. From his simple wrench to a powerful shotgun to more exotic devices, Morgan has more than enough options to suit his needs.
What are your thoughts on the Recycler in Prey? Do you think that these will be limited in the game or will we have an abundant supply of them to just toss around the game's world? What other bits of gear do you think will be in the game that Bethesda doesn't want us to know about just yet? Let us all know what you are thinking down in the comments and then discuss. I am certain there will be more for Prey in the coming weeks and we will definitely have it all up here on the site for you. Be sure to keep checking in to see what we have and to keep up to date on all things gaming.
