Shadow Of The Tomb Raider Is Officially Announced & Coming This Year
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 15th of March 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Tomb Raider Just in time for the new Tomb Raider film to hit theaters, Shadow Of The Tomb Raider has been officially announced and coming this year for all platforms It looks like we can put most of the rumors to rest as Shadow Of The Tomb Raider has been officially announced and let loose on the world. At least in the most teaser of ways as Eidos-Montréal and Square Enix are still holding off on the full reveal of the game until April 27th. They still needed to work with the hype of the new Tomb Raider film, so it makes sense that they would make this announcement now and not wait until the film is no longer anywhere out there. This Week In Video Games 3/5/18 — 3/9/18
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 10th of March 2018 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Time to put another week of video games in the bag and look back at what happened this week. It was a pretty big one for a few franchises out there as Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 and The Division 2 where given the announcements and the hype for Far Cry 5 is hitting some heights. We also had a chance to see a few smaller titles get some new updates as we had more to see for A Plague Tale: Innocence and The Beast Inside this week as well. I will take all of that and more for our video games for sure. Read More...

Forget What You Know As Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 Is Official
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 8th of March 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty It has been officially announced that Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 is coming and it also looks like it will ‘revolutionize’ the Call Of Duty franchise We all knew it was coming and now we have official word that Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 is going to be this year's installment into the franchise. Given that Treyarch gave us the last one three years ago and that is how Activision seems to cycle the developers on the franchise, it makes perfect sense that we are heading back into the Black Ops world. The interesting part of this announcement though is the fact that we will be getting this year's Call Of Duty title a bit earlier than normal as it is already locked in for an October 12th release date for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Far Cry 5 The Season Pass content for Far Cry 5 has been further detailed and it looks like there is even more for Far Cry 5 post-launch with Far Cry Arcade If you have been hovering on that pre-order for Far Cry 5 based on what you could be getting in the Season Pass and post-launch content, then it is time to take note and get ready to choose. We now have further details on all of it from Ubisoft to help you figure out if you just want to the core experience, that and all of the extra DLC, or all of it with the free add-ons to come and keep you playing the game. I guess you could add that into the core aspect of Far Cry 5 as there will be a lot of free post-launch content, but there are gamers out there who will put the game down after they make it through the core version and then never pick it back up. Journey Further Behind The Scenes For God Of War
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 5th of March 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
God Of War Another interview for God Of War has popped up online and this one goes even more into this God Of War's mythology as well as a few design elements As if we have not had enough God Of War here since January, it looks like we have yet another interview out there now from Santa Monica Studio. You are probably thinking, "How much more can they go into without spoiling the game?" You would be right to think that as we do have a lot already, but there is obviously a little more than they want to get out there for God Of War to get us all hyped up. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 5th of March 2018 - 06:00 PM ]
Far Cry 5 We have a new Far Cry 5 live-action short to help get us into the world of Far Cry 5 and it is using some of the game's voice actors in the mix as well If you have been looking forward to the launch of Far Cry 5 on March 27th, then you are in for an extra treat as we have a new movie out here for the game. You know Ubisoft and their love of bringing live action version of their games to life, and now we have one specifically for Amazon. It is a short live action film for Far Cry 5, but it is more live action when most of us just want some solid gameplay to look at. Read More...

Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Mark another week of video games in the bag here for 2018 as we had another fun week and a whole lot of news to cover. There were also a whole lot of new video games getting the announcement treatment like The Blackout Club and The Beast Inside. Far Cry 5’s Cult Is Here With More Mayhem In The Mountains
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 2nd of March 2018 - 08:00 PM ]
Far Cry 5 New vignette videos for Far Cry 5’s cultist leaders have hit the web and they show off how creepy they will be and just how much mayhem they will cause in Far Cry 5 Just when you thought there was enough of Far Cry 5 already out there for us to take in before March 27th, we get a whole lot more to dive right into. In the case here, we are going mostly in on the villain side of things as Ubisoft has given us some nice new videos of the cult's leadership and just why we need to fear them in the game. Well, at least why the citizens of Hope County fear them or have joined them already. Read More...

Get Ready For A New Tactical-Adventure With Mutant Year Zero: Road To Eden
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 1st of March 2018 - 08:00 PM ]
Mutant Year Zero A new tactical-adventure game, Mutant Year Zero: Road To Eden, has been announced and Mutant Year Zero aims to bring us a unique take on the post-human Earth We had a nice tease a few weeks back from Funcom that they were working on something new and now it looks like the cat is out of the bag as Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden has been announced and coming to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC sometime in 2018. At least it is safe to assume that this was what they were teasing even if they are not directly developing it like other titles in their wheelhouse. That part is being done by The Bearded Ladies, a team that consists of some pretty talented people from many of our favorite past titles like HITMAN and PAYDAY. Read More...

Get Ready For All The Mayhem You Can Cause With Vehicles In Far Cry 5
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 26th of February 2018 - 08:00 PM ]
Far Cry 5 Another look at the vehicles of Far Cry 5 is here and we get to see a few more of the ‘rides’ we will get to have when Far Cry 5 launches Here we go with even more for Far Cry 5 as we have yet another look at the vehicles we will be using in the game to bring down all kinds of insanity on that cult out there in Montana. We all knew it was going to be a thing as it really is part of the franchise that Ubisoft has crafted here, but we needed to have another reminder of what is going to be going on. That and we are heading out into the mid-western wilds of the United States where things can get a bit crazier than any of those other areas that Far Cry has done before. Read More...

Nightmarchers Is Still Marching On & Building To Be Better
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 26th of February 2018 - 06:00 PM ]
Nightmarchers Even though the Fig campaign for Nightmarchers has failed, it looks like the team is still moving forward to make Nightmarchers and to make it better Last week we saw Nightmarchers Fig campaign come to an end and then the latest video for one of the gods in the game. Sadly, it did not look like the funding goal was met but that has not kept Wyrmbyte Studios down as they are pushing forward with development and taking in all of the feedback and criticisms they received to make it a better game. Although this does look like we may not see a final version of Nightmarchers until the end of 2018 or possibly even 2019. It is how games go sometimes, but they are rolling with the punches it seems and not just abandoning the idea and title. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 2/20/18 — 2/23/18
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 24th of February 2018 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Sometimes you have to love short weeks as they give you more time to play our video games, but sometimes they seem to be filled with less news and true updates for our games. This was one of those weeks, but we did get to press right on with it. Not only did it give us a chance to review Past Cure for everyone, it also brought us some new updates for Biomutant, Far Cry 5, and a few other video games. Read More...

Far Cry 5’s Ecology Is More Than Just Set Dressing
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 23rd of February 2018 - 08:00 PM ]
Far Cry 5 Another look at the wildlife of Far Cry 5 is here and we get to see just how we will get to hunt them or be hunted when we dive into Far Cry 5 If there is one thing that the franchise has been known for before Far Cry 5, it is the fact that there will be some fun interactions with wildlife in the game. Sure, before now some of the games have only included them in to make the world feel a bit more realistic, but Ubisoft knows that is not the only aspect we want in the games. We want to be able to hunt them down or to have to add another concern to our list as we are trying to just enjoy the game. Read More...
