Intercept The Storm With The Javelins Of Anthem
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 11th of January 2019 - 06:00 PM ]
Anthem Two new videos for Anthem are out there detailing two of the main javelins in Anthem with some different loadouts Earlier in the week we saw how good Anthem could potentially look if you are willing to buy all the latest and greatest hardware out there. It is what they seem to be pushing out at CES this year more than anything. That does not always sell games though so we are back with more from BioWare for the game so we can at least see how it could play in our hands. February 22nd is getting ever closer and I know I want to see how each of the javelins in Anthem will handle or differ. Read More...

New Gameplay Shows Off How Amazing Anthem Could Look
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 7th of January 2019 - 08:00 PM ]
Anthem During the NVIDIA CES 2019 keynote, new Anthem gameplay was revealed that shows just how good Anthem could look if you are willing to go PC CES 2019 has kicked off and that means we will start seeing all kinds of videos and trailers showing off the new tech coming just as we have here for Anthem. We have a new bit of gameplay to look at here but the bigger news here is that DLSS is coming to the PC version of the game for those who use an NVIDIA card to drive their games. I am sure that EA would like you to remember that Anthem is coming and that you should pre-order it now, but that would outshine the news that you can get it bundled in with your new GeForce RTX graphics card, laptops, or PCs. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 4th of January 2019 - 06:00 PM ]
Hitman An announcement for the Hitman HD Enhanced Collection is here and brings two more Hitman titles into the HD ring very soon Talk about an announcement that seems out of nowhere as we now have word that we are getting a Hitman HD Enhanced Collection for the PS4 and Xbox One. Not only getting it, but it will be bringing two more titles from IO Interactive into the HD arena on January 11th. That is one hells of a turnaround there, especially given that Warner Bros. just brought us the release of Hitman 2 not too long ago. Read More...

by Chris Avila [ Thursday, 3rd of January 2019 - 08:00 PM ]
Video Games The New Year for Video Games has started and it is time to have a refresher for some of the video games that are slated to release soon We have officially kicked off the new year and that means we have a whole new year of video games to look forward to. Not just the ones that have been announced and slated for release already, but also all of the other ones that have yet to be announced as well. There are so many possibilities it is hard to keep track of them all and we need good reminders of them. This is why I am writing all of this as it is time for a nice little recap of what we should expect in way of video games for 2019 and beyond. Read More...

The Obligatory 2018 Video Games Year In Review List
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of December 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
Video Games There were a lot of video games that came out in 2018 and we tried to review as many video games as we could. Here’s a recap of them all The year is finally over and there were a lot of great video games that came out. There were also a lot of shitty ones in the mix as well. Just like every year, there were all over the place and we had a chance to give a good chunk of them all a play and thus a review. Hells, we even had more indie-based video games mixed in to add an extra level of interest here. It, of course, is not a list of all video games that came out this year but it is a list of what we had to experience over here in our little part of the world. Read More...

Virtually Choose Your Own Way Through Afterlife
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 26th of December 2018 - 08:00 PM ]
Afterlife The first dev diary for Afterlife is here to show us how the team has started to bring this VR choose-your-own-adventure about the Afterlife to life Here we go with a new little twist on the VR and live-action as Afterlife is bringing both of those together to give us an interesting experience with a Choose-Your-Own-Adventure twist. That is at least as it basically sounds with a darker and grimmer style of story tacked on here. I mean, Signal Space Lab is taking us through an "intimate journey through tragedy, grief, and acceptance" in the experience here so… In any instance, we have a new behind the scenes look at how Afterlife is being put together to show that a great VR game can be done with live-action sequences and not all virtually generated stuff. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 22nd of December 2018 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week We are almost at the last week of video games of the year as we head towards Christmas and then New Years. Weirdly, this year did not seem to slow down as we made it to the end and we will all take that. From new things to look at for Devil May Cry 5 and Kingdom Hearts over to other updates for Control and Resident Evil it does not look like we are going to hit a wall here in 2018. At least in terms of video games that is. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 21st of December 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
Outward The release date for Outward is now set and we have a breakdown of how Outward will differ from the many other RPGs out there Maybe you have been looking for a different way to go at the traditional RPG style of games as of late. If that is the case then I am here to show you Outward as it has been saddled with a release date now and we can see this new take on the genre hit the PS4, Xbox One, and PC in March of next year. In fact, Deep Silver has set the date down as March 26th of 2019 where we will be experiencing the new RPG from Nine Dots in full. Granted, RPGs may not be your jam, but Outward offers up a new way to look at it all as we play as a random human in the world we have been given here. Read More...

The Final Word Of J. Jonah Jameson Is Here For Spider-Man
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 21st of December 2018 - 08:00 PM ]
Spider-Man The final DLC for Spider-Man is here and we have one more update via Just The Facts to show us what we can expect for Spider-Man yet again The final DLC of the Season Pass for Spider-Man is now officially here for us all to download and experience. I have a feeling it will be the final DLC for the game outside of costumes and other little things, unless Insomniac Games surprises us with more out the blue. I would rather have a full new story and game instead of little bits here for Spider-Man, but I am not the one calling the shots over there. Only time will tell for now as we have yet another reason to pop back on to the game and our PS4. Read More...

Life Is Strange 2’s Next Episode Has A Solid Release Date
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 18th of December 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
Life Is Strange The release date for Life Is Strange 2’s second episode has been set and we get to rewatch a live version of an iconic scene from Life Is Strange 2 now We have been waiting for the next episode for Life Is Strange 2 for a bit now and last we heard it was coming in January at some point. Nothing had been set in stone as DontNod tried to get the game to a place where it would meet our ever-demanding standard when it comes to our games. Especially with an IP like Life Is Strange, we are going to be critical and thankfully, Square Enix let them take that extra time. Read More...

The Essence Of True Strength Lays In Kage For Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 17th of December 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
Street Fighter V Another character is coming to Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition and this time it is a deviation from a standard Street Fighter V character we already know Add yet another character to the roster of Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition as we now have Kage joining in on the fight. This would be a new-ish character to the lineup here although as you can see from the basic images, this is just a way for Capcom to fit in another character and further part of the story of Ryu a bit. I say this as Kage is a sentient part of Ryu that is here to prove Ryu is nothing without his darker part. Yes, this is the story, but it is also Street Fighter V so we have to give some kind of break when it comes to how things progress there. Read More...
