RoboCop: Rogue City — Unfinished Business Is Bringing Many New Gameplay Features
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 3rd of July 2025 - 05:00 PM ]
RoboCop There is a lot more coming for RoboCop in the gameplay we have for the upcoming RoboCop: Rogue City — Unfinished Business We are just about to hit the time where we are back in action with Robocop: Rogue City and the unfinished business that the DLC has locked in for us. All of it feels like something that could just be more missions and the same style of levels that Teyon gave us before. That is not fully the case, though, as it looks like we are getting all of the things that made the core game solid, but the team has taken extra time to offer up more to the gameplay loop beyond shooting up more corridors with the new story. Even a nice little thing where we will not be playing as just RoboCop. Read More...

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 Is Giving Us The Return Of Officer Dick
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 26th of June 2025 - 05:00 PM ]
Tony Hawk Officer Dick is coming back to Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater and he is bringing a friend for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 It looks like more fun is on the way for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 with Officer Rick taking up a board and shredding with the greats out there. A character that would have been odd to not see Iron Galaxy Studios and Activision not bring in, as he has been a staple in so many of the titles over the years. All the way back to the origins of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater when it first last, if my memory serves. The only difference is that this one has a new and maybe better design for the character. Gloomy Eyes Is Announced & Walking Us All Along A Strangely Dark Path
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 24th of June 2025 - 07:00 PM ]
Gloomy Eyes A new cozy horror title, Gloomy Eyes, is officially announced with Gloomy Eyes offering up some new self-co-op play We are always on the lookout for some new, and strange horror titles around here, and I think Gloomy Eyes might just be one to scratch some itches around here. No, this is not going to be some massive and gore-filled title that one might expect, but a new title on the way from Fishing Cactus and Untold Tales to offer us all a sweet little treat in the mix. With Gloomy Eyes taking more of a whimsical approach to things, with terms like Little Nightmares meets Tim Burton being tossed around here. All for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC when the game is finally ready to stroll on out there. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 24th of June 2025 - 05:00 PM ]
Painkiller The pre-orders for Painkiller have opened up and you can secure a little more for Painkiller before the launch The gates are open and the pain is on the way with Painkiller launching on October 9th for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Not the biggest of news for all of us out there with Anshar Studios and 3D Realms not being too coy about when all of that was going to happen. What is the news that we have here for Painkiller, though, is that you can now start to throw money at the game to make sure you have all the fun little toys needed to play in this fun world. No, this is not a way they are trying to grab more money from you for the game. Read More...

by Raymond Bruels [ Friday, 13th of June 2025 - 05:00 PM ]
Universal We take a day out to Universal Studios to check out the limited run of Universal Fan Fest Nights 2025 It is no secret that I love Universal Studios Hollywood, which is why when the first advertisements for their Fan Fest Nights 2025 were advertised, I leapt at the opportunity to secure tickets. It also coincided well with my first anniversary, and my wife is a diehard Back To The Future fan. Talk about kismet. Read More...

Some New Giants Are On The Way Into Indiana Jones And The Great Circle
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 12th of June 2025 - 05:00 PM ]
Indiana Jones Indiana Jones is setting out for another adventure with the latest DLC, Indiana Jones And The Great Circle: The Order Of Giants The adventure is still underway with Indiana Jones And The Great Circle, as we have some new DLC gearing up to hit the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC for those who have been dying for more. It has been a good chunk of time since Machine Games dropped it on one set of platforms, but not so long since it hit the most recent one, so it makes sense that we would be getting something now. Now is a bit of a misnomer, as Indiana Jones And The Great Circle: The Order Of Giants will not be hitting any of these platforms until September 4th. Read More...

Shape The Chaos Of The Future In Call Of Duty: Black Ops 7
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 10th of June 2025 - 07:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty The next Call Of Duty title is on the way with the recent announcement out there for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 7 The cat is out of the bag and the next in the line of the Black Ops titles is on the way with the announcement for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 7. The firefights and violence just do not stop with the line that Treyarch is working toward for our futures out there, but if it did, we would not have a video game to play. That or the chance to see how the stories of Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2 and Black Ops 6 have been building and leading to this dark future that the IP is offering up. Sadly, one that does not look too far off from the current world we live in. Read More...

Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy Takes Us Back Before The Plague Even Started
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 10th of June 2025 - 05:00 PM ]
A Plague Tale A new chapter for A Plague Tale is on the way with the recent announcement of Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy If you thought the run of this IP might be over after the last title, then you are in for a treat with the announcement we have for Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy. Another in the line of titles that Asobo Studio and Focus Home Interactive have been dropping out there, only this time it takes us back before a good chunk of the main games. Yes, this is more of a prequel to the titles in A Plague Tale, but also focusing on a character we were only introduced to in the second full title. It is a weird bit of timey wimey stuff, but I am sure it will all make sense when 2026 rolls out and we get to experience the title on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Read More...

A Classic Is Coming Back Again With Final Fantasy Tactics - The Ivalice Chronicles
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 5th of June 2025 - 09:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy Final Fantasy fans are going to be getting yet another blast from the past with the announcement for Final Fantasy Tactics - The Ivalice Chronicles Another classic case of something that started out as a rumor and now is a real thing, with the announcement for Final Fantasy Tactics - The Ivalice Chronicles. A remaster and enhancement from the classic title that Square Enix dropped out there back in 1997, and many tactical RPG gamers have been waiting for it to come back. Maybe more as a full remake, but beggars cannot be choosers in the instance of things. Read More...

007 First Light Explodes Onto The Scene For One More Big Mission
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 5th of June 2025 - 05:00 PM ]
007 The tease of Project 007 is finally revealed as we have the full announcement and look at 007 First Light now It has only taken five years, but here we are with the official announcement for 007 First Light. It is hard to think that it has been in the shadows for that long over at IO Interactive, but here we are fresh out of the State Of Play with the announcement. Sadly, the announcement does tell us that we are going to have to wait until 2026 to actually get to experience the game on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC. On the positive side of things, though, we do get to see some of 007 in action as well as when and where this version of it all is going to take place. Read More...

Review — Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
by Cody Killebrew [ Wednesday, 4th of June 2025 - 09:00 PM ]
Clair Obscur We sit down and review Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. A true French JRPG game that most did not see coming. Here is our review of half of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 A true French JRPG game, both in the sense that it was developed by a French company, Sandfall Interactive, and in the sense of a throwback to when JRPGs were turn-based rather than action RPG oriented. While Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is turn-based, it keeps the player engaged during enemy turns by incorporating some active elements into the turn-based system, namely that of Dodge and Parry. With successful Dodging and Parrying having more impact beyond the immediate, such as a counterattack with an individual character, or the entire party for enemy attacks that strike the whole party, if you successfully parry all attacks in the attack pattern, as well as potentially gaining more Action Points for your next turn on each character.
