The Sights, And Mostly The Sounds, Of Alien Isolation Are Amazing
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 3rd of April 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
Alien Isolation has a new developer video out showing off all the time and effort Creative Assembly has put in. A lot is riding on Alien Isolation making up for the horrors that the franchise has gone in. Horrors not in the good way for those just looking into what I am talking about. From what I have seen so far from Creative Assembly on this front has been extremely exciting and will hopefully right a horrible wrong that has taken place in the past. But that is all in the visuals and limited gameplay that we have seen so far. Also a bit of how awesome things are literally sound in game. Read More...

The Wolf Among Us Episode 3 Is Slated For Release Next Week
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 3rd of April 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
Shortly after the new trailer for The Wolf Among Us Episode 3 came the release date for the new episode. Just as I called it two days ago, A Crooked Mile, The Wolf Among Us' third episode has been given a launch date. That date being April 8th 2014. Only seven days after the new trailer for the episode at that. Just as I called it. The big kicker is that it is supposedly slated for a universal release to all platforms instead of PC and PlayStation first for a day or so. Read More...

The Wolf Among Us Episode Three Gets A New Trailer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 1st of April 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
The Wolf Among Us episode three — A Crooked Mile gets a new trailer. Hopefully this means the episode will be out soon. Finally, The Wolf Among Us brings us something that isn't an April Fools' joke in the form of a new trailer for the third episode of the game; A Crooked Mile. Something I have been waiting for all day and technically almost two months now; something new for The Wolf Among Us since the last episode is the larger of the two. The lack of April Fools' joke is just a plus. New gamers to The Wolf Among Us be warned; there are a few spoilers mixed into the trailer as it continues off from where we last left Bigby. April Fools: Titanfall Is Getting Optimus Prime DLC
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 1st of April 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
An April Fools' joke from Respawn and IGN makes it look like we will be getting Optimus Prime added into Titanfall via DLC. Why is this a joke? This new Titanfall April Fools' joke is exactly why I loathe this "holiday." This looks amazing and would actually have me wanting to keep playing Titanfall for quite some time; especially if this Optimus Prime DLC was real as well as lead to other Transformers DLC for the game. Yep, their fun April Fools' joke was DLC that looks awesome and will most likely never be. Here watch for yourself. Read More...

Get A Robot Dog With The Wolfenstein: The New Order Panzerhund Edition
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of March 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
A collector's edition of Wolfenstein: The New Order has been announced and called the Panzerhund Edition. It actually comes with a Panzerhund too. It looks like Wolfenstein: The New Order is stepping up into the crazy "collector's edition" arena with the recently announced Panzerhund Edition. The interesting part here though is that it DOES NOT come with a copy of the game. Bold move but let us see what all of you crazy Wolfenstein fans may be getting for your $100 USD if you so choose to get this crazy "collector's edition" for the game. Let it be known that there are only 5000 of these to be purchased before May 20th or until supply runs out. Read More...

A New Amazing Spider-Man 2 Gameplay & Dev Diary Video Swings Onto The Web
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of March 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
There is a new Amazing Spider-Man 2 dev diary that digs into some of the new mechanics for the game. Should we be excited for this film video game? It really feels like the film version of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is getting so many more trailers than needed while the video game version of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 has had so few. Only two before today for the game if memory and sleuthing serves me correctly. I'm pretty sure it does so I'll just move on with everything. Read More...

Welcome To The Watch_Dogs Version Of Chicago
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 27th of March 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
A new trailer for Watch_Dogs to show off the city that we will be spending hours hacking. Do the character models look downgraded? Just as to be assumed with any title based in a real world location, we have a new trailer showing us the Chicago of the Watch_Dogs universe. There seems to be a lot less dancing and singing in this Chicago if my entertainment versions of the city are anywhere near accurate of the city. Ok, that is a pretty limited scope there all in the basis of a joke but we really do have a look at the Chicago of Watch_Dogs. Have a watch and any of you Chicago-ites… Chicagoans… residents of the real Chicago let us know what you think as todays tech should be getting close to recreating our loved cities. Read More...

Review — Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 26th of March 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes. Is it just an expensive demo or a real fun game? Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes has been labeled as one large demo and prologue to The Phantom Pain. In fact there have been gameplay sessions of the game that show it can be completed in a little over seven minutes. The game is also not the same price as a normal retail title but it is still $30 but is it worth the price of admission to Metal Gear Solid V? Let's dig in and see if you should drop the cash and time. Read More...

Just In Case You Forgot BioShock Infinite: Burial At Sea — Ep 2 Is Out
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 25th of March 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
We have the launch trailer for BioShock Infinite: Burial At Sea — Episode Two to celebrate its launch and end of a company. With everything going on as of late for Irrational and 2K I almost forgot that BioShock Infinite: Burial At Sea — Episode Two was on the verge of launching. Or actually launching today depending on the platform that tickles your fancy. I believe it is only the Xbox that has to wait another day but I could be a bit off. Either way, it is a good thing that 2K decided to remind us all with a very creepy and cool trailer for the last DLC from Irrational Games. Read More...

Look What Just Got Unburied For Murdered: Soul Suspect
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 21st of March 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
A new trailer for Murdered: Soul Suspect has been released. It shows some new game locations as well as a Limited Edition of the game. I will have to be honest here with Murdered: Soul Suspect. I completely though that we were only going to be playing through the same three scenes and locations given what we have been shown in the past. It all looked like the main crime scene, the house it happened in and maybe a cemetery and that was about it. The bellow new trailer is all about quite a few other locations with little in the way of what we have already been shown for Murdered: Soul Suspect. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 20th of March 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
New details on the PS3 & PS4 Watch_Dogs exclusive content have been announced. Here is what we are getting. If you have been waffling on which platform to get Watch_Dogs on we have some new information to help you make up your mind. Even though it hasn't been a secret that those who opt for the PS3 or PS4 version of the game will be getting some exclusive content, it has never been clarified and explained outside of "an extra 60 minutes of gameplay." The wait is now over though as we have a trailer showing off the four extra missions that add said gameplay. Not only that but a new costume and in-game perk. Read More...

New Wolfenstien: The New Order Trailer Puts Us On The Train To Berlin
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 20th of March 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
A new trailer for Wolfenstien: The New Order has been released showcasing the train scene we've seen a few times. Also there is a bit behind the person who wrote the scene. Using the word new in the headline here seems a bit odd as we have seen this bit from Wolfenstien: The New Order a few times already. I am talking about the train scene with Frau Engel and here 'lover' Bubi. You know; the one where they conduct the 'test' on BJ in some form of a twisted game that we all know Nazis loved doing. How Fast Can You Beat Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 18th of March 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes was always claimed to be short. But ten minutes short? Check it out. There has been no big secret that Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is a short game. The length lent itself to the lower price for the game as well as the lack of a platinum trophy in the end game. That said, would you believe that it can be beaten in about ten minutes? Yes, I said ten minutes. Read More...

Who Wants To See How They Are Creating Alien Isolation?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 13th of March 2014 - 07:03 PM ]
There is a new trailer for Alien Isolation rife with pre-alpha footage as well as the overall goal of Creative Assembly for the franchise. I guess the answer to the above Alien Isolation question is you. You want to see it and we have it for you. Granted there isn't much new in the way of footage from the game but what we have more of is Creative Assembly's vision for Alien Isolation. Not the whole thing but enough to make any gamer a little more excited about a new Alien title given the folly of the previously release game that will not be mentioned. You can take a quick look but as usual I will give you a bit of the break down so you don't have to be glued to the screen trying to get the details and just plain enjoy yourself. Read More...

Review: South Park: The Stick Of Truth
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 11th of March 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review South Park The Stick of Truth. Was it worth the delays and the hype? Is this their Magnum Opus? The moment has arrived, finally. South Park: The Stick Of Truth has finally launched and I have had the chance to give the turn-based-RPG a good play. Matt and Trey were hoping that they wouldn't be getting a 4/10 on Gamespot or any other crappy reviews for the game. How do you think they fared? Let me break it down for you and let you know what I think and if it is worth your time and money. Read More...
