This Week In Video Games 1/4/15 — 1/8/15
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 9th of January 2016 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games It doesn't look like we started the new year in video games out with as quite a bang as many were hoping. Rumors and delays were all over the place this week and that doesn't bode well for the rest of the year. Hells, even the announcement of the Oculus Rift's release date and price didn't go over all that well. Thankfully we had the "leaked" release date for Homefront and a good look at some stuff out of CES 2016; like Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood and a few other items yet to be talked about on the site. CES 2016 Hands On — Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 8th of January 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
Rush Of Blood While At CES I Was Able To See Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood It was only announced a few months ago but Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood was one of the huge titles on display at CES 2016 in Sony's VR section of their booth. PlayStation didn't have a huge section this year but this Supermassive Games spin off from the main title was one of the bigger things for the PS4 and PlayStation VR here. Lines were up to an hour and a half long to play the ten minute demo of Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood and I braved it just for you so I could let you know how the game is shaping up for all of us. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 7th of January 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
Outlast 2 The first screenshot for Outlast 2 has been released to show how evolved the gameplay will be in Outlast 2 over its predecessor It has been a few months since we had a nice teaser for Outlast 2 and some form of update on the game progress in development from Red Barrels. As we roll into 2016 we are most likely going to get a whole lot more on this amazing horror game that is still slated for a Halloween release on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. For now though it looks like we are going to have to deal with just a nice little screenshot from the game to keep our blood boiling and ready for Outlast 2 in some form. Review — Hitman: Agent 47 [Blu-Ray]
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 5th of January 2016 - 08:00 PM ]
Hitman: Agent 47 Hitman: Agent 47 has recently hit the small screens of home with new content. We had a chance to sit down and break the film down piece by piece. Here is our review of Hitman: Agent 47 Here we go with yet another film based on a video game here with Hitman: Agent 47. Originally it released in theaters on August 21st of 2015 but the home version of the film has finally been released and I had a chance to sit back and take in this rendition of Io Interactive's Hitman franchise. The previous installment wasn't accepted greatly by the fans of the video game but Hitman: Agent 47 looks like it gets a few things right from the onset. But looks can be deceiving. Read More...

Two More Badasses For Battleborn To Show Off Their Stuff
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 29th of December 2015 - 10:00 PM ]
Battleborn More gameplay for Battleborn has been placed online, with commentary, that show off two more heroes for Battleborn in the way of Ghalt and Deande As if we didn't already have too many options in Battleborn when it comes to heroes it looks like we have two more to look at in the mix. I think Gearbox is going to just flood us with options that many of us will not know what to do with when Battleborn finally launches. I guess this could be good for anyone looking for a "hero shooter" on the PS4, Xbox One, or PC but none the less we have two more to look at here. Then at least one more as we head into the open beta phase for Battleborn. Read More...

Mafia 3 Another bit of gameplay for Mafia 3 has been released, with narration, to show us how brutal Mafia 3's gameplay can ultimately be It's been some time since Mafia 3 received the official announcement and showcasing and it is high time that we received more to look at for the game right? Here's Why Final Fantasy VII Remake Will Be 'Episodic'
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 11th of December 2015 - 10:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy With the announcement of Final Fantasy VII Remake being multi-part Final Fantasy fans have asked for a reason and now we have one straight from the source Earlier in the week we had our first solid look at more than a tease for Final Fantasy VII Remake. Sadly this was also accompanied by a press release from Square Enix stating that Final Fantasy VII Remake would also be a multi-part experience on the PS4. As that was announced many Final Fantasy fans who have been begging for Final Fantasy VII Remake went on to express their gamer rage about it being an 'episodic' game and not the full one. That is their term not mine as I always remember Final Fantasy VII requiring disc swaps originally and I see this as pretty much the same thing as the developers work on this and Final Fantasy XV at the same time. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 11th of December 2015 - 08:00 PM ]
Evolve The new medic character for Evolve, Emet, has been reveled and we can see what this bipolar robot will bring to Evolve in the way of healing If you've been keeping up with Evolve then you most likely know that there are more hunters coming to the game and the next one looks to drop in on December 16th on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. If you haven't then it is time that you get to meet Emet who is the new medic that Turtle Rock Studios has crafted for Evolve. He looks like he can dish out the health as well as take it away just like every other medic out there only Emet here has more of an attitude I can personally get behind in Evolve. Read More...

Things Get Crazy In Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2's Solo Play
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 10th of December 2015 - 08:00 PM ]
Plants Vs Zombies More craziness is added into Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2 with new characters, bosses, and gameplay options to make this Plants Vs Zombies experience off the wall The solo gameplay is back for Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2, as expected, only this time it looks like some great tweaks have happened to give us all a deeper and over-the-top experience as we play. Well at least in the ways that PopCap Games thinks we all want to. In this instance it has to do with having more heroes in your Plants Vs Zombies team and then adding in a whole lot of new and "crazy" options to further screw with everything. Read More...
