Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Cyberpunk 2077 Another delay has hit Cyberpunk 2077 which will now have us all playing Cyberpunk 2077 in November instead of September The wait continues for Cyberpunk 2077 as another delay has hit the game here. Another one that will push the game out for a few more months now with the game leaving the September 17th release date for a November 19th release date. This is some sad news for gamers out there, but it seems like a good call by CD Projekt RED given that they are still working through everything in Cyberpunk 2077. Dead Island 2 A leaked version of Dead Island 2 made it out into the world and we can now see where Dead Island 2 could have been taking us in terms of gameplay To say that Dead Island 2 has had a rocky development would feel like an understatement at this point. More so as the last bit of news anyone had out there for the game was that Deep Silver was moving along to a third developer after being originally announced over five years ago at this point. It feels so weird as I fully remember going to media events and sitting through demos for Dead Island 2 so long ago, but at this point, there is no word on if it will ever hit the PS4, Xbox One, or PC. EA More than 25 EA titles are now available on Steam as EA aims to make it more accessible for gamers to play and buy their titles where they want It looks like EA is finally making the bigger push over to Steam, as today you can head over there on your PC and pick up some titles that have yet to be on the platform as of yet. Steam and not specifically PC. Thus, allowing more PC gamers out there to pick up and enjoy the titles they may have wanted for a while now but did not want to have to put up with EA Access to do so. Dead Age The Early Access for Dead Age 2 has to shamble a bit further back as COVID-19 causes Dead Age 2 to not reach a release state It is coming to little surprise with how the world is going that we are going to see delays and pushes for games, and Dead Age 2 is another in the growing list that will be missing the mark due to everything. This would be the next rogue-like tactical survival title coming out of Silent Dreams and Headup for the PC. Tony Hawk Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 was announced last week and now we get a bit more on some of the skaters besides Tony Hawk that will be back There was big news last week when Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater was announced to be getting a remaster or a remake for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Given how the visuals look here, I am going to side with Vicarious Visions doing a full remake as there would be much more work to keep things from the original title and just slapping on some fresh paint. Mafia New trailers for all three Mafia titles in the Mafia: Trilogy are here to help show off what you can play now and then in the slight future It looks like all of those dates we found before for all of the Mafia titles have been confirmed as the second and third titles are out there in their definitive editions with the first one still to come on August 28th. Something that I am not sure why 2K Games and Hangar 13 held on to for a weird reveal as they bring all of the titles to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC here. Mafia Screenshots are out there for the Mafia and Mafia II Definitive Edition that will most likely be part of the Trilogy We just had word that a Mafia: Trilogy edition is on the way and now we have a look at how the earlier two titles will be handled and available on their own here. That is the assumption here given the new listings that showed up on a few digital stores out there and removed by 2K Games before it made a huge splash. More so as it looks like the Mafia II: Definitive Edition should be hitting the systems on May 19th and the full remake of the original title by August 28th. Cyberpunk One more look at the limited Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox One X is here to show us how it could be more than just a Cyberpunk skinned system It really feels like Microsoft is leaning into Cyberpunk 2077 pretty hard since we got the huge announcements last year at E3 and then then exclusive Xbox One X that the team has been working on. It still feels a bit weird to be pushing this system out there given the newer systems coming only a few months after CD Projekt RED drops their game on the world, but they are going to do what they want right now. That includes keeping the Cyberpunk 2077 themed Xbox One X flowing to those looking to get the console to enjoy the game on before upgrading it over to the Xbox Series X later in the year. Mafia The Mafia games look to be getting a new bundle with the reveal of the Mafia: Trilogy coming sometime in the future There were so many rumors and listings spotted out there and now it all seems like it was true with the reveal for the Mafia: Trilogy. This would be a nice little collection that Hangar 13 and 2K Games are putting together to house all three of the main titles from the franchise. Bloodlines 2 A new trailer for Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 is finally here to give us a better taste of how dark Bloodlines 2 will actually be going Here we go with a new look at Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 with a new trailer that could be possibly showing off how dark this World Of Darkness is actually going to go. It is still hard to tell as Hardsuit Labs only mixed in a bit of actual gameplay to see here in the mix of it all. WWE The usual WWE game is not coming out this year but that leaves us open to the upcoming WWE 2K Battlegrounds this year instead For those looking for a new WWE title this year, you might be looking at having something a bit new from 2K Games this year. The first big thing is that there will not be a 2020 version of the game for the franchise as they are taking their time to make another amazing title with a 2021 game in the works.
