Duck further behind the scenes for Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty to see how Idris Elba is bringing more to Cyberpunk 2077 than expected
The Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty expansion is looming ever closer and many of us are amped to be able to head back into this world once more for the IP. After finally giving CD Projekt RED the time and chance to bring the game closer to their vision, this new expansion on September 26th is going to do that while bringing us more to experience in this cyberpunk world. More not only in gameplay, but a whole other character we are going to love, care for, and maybe learn to hate. Now, we have a chance to see just a bit more about how Solomon Reed is coming into the game and how Idris Elba brought it all to life. Yes, this is another behind-the-scenes event.
First, let us have a look at the new cinematic for this Cyberpunk 2077 expansion to see where the character came from and where they might be going. That is, it looks like Solomon started out more of a grunt-level spy who was done dirty by some of the higher-ups in the world out there. A running theme in all of this IP. The other running theme in the mix of it all is that the characters just do not stay dead and we get to see Solomon back and taking revenge on those who did the dirty work. That is how this new cinematic trailer for Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty plays out to me, but maybe mileage is different for you. Have a look and see what could in the game when it all drops out there.
Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty — Cinematic
I wouldn’t be alive if it wasn’t for you.
Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty arrives on September 26th on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
Phantom Liberty is an upcoming spy-thriller expansion for Cyberpunk 2077. Return as cyber-enhanced mercenary V and embark on a high-stakes mission of espionage and intrigue to save the NUSA President. In the dangerous district of Dogtown, you must forge alliances within a web of shattered loyalties and sinister political machinations. Do you have what it takes to survive?
For those that want more for their Cyberpunk 2077, here we get to see just how Idris Elba brought Solomon to life and some of the work that was done for this. Mostly, though, it talks about the actor's talent and abilities coming in with a different character at heart. So, if you are aware of Mr. Elba's past work, it is all getting to shine while letting the actor relax a bit in a physical way. Not a terrible thing at all and it does look like one more shining performance to add into the mix of it all. Just to show that when you get the talent and are allowed to put in the work effort, things turn out well. If only this lesson was allowed at the start of Cyberpunk 2077 and the team could have focused more than the gamers and publishers let them do.
