Living in Vegas it is rare that we get to see snow. I'm talking real heavy snow. I personally hate the stuff but I do love the temperature that comes along side with snow. I do enjoy going outside on a nice brisk day where I can still wear short sleeves and not freeze my balls off. Much like the poster boy for Borderlands 2 as you will see below. Today at QuakeCon 2011, The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim panel, Todd Howard (Game Director of Bethesda Studios) released the official announcement and details of the Skyrim Collector's Edition. Coming out on 11/11/11 for the PS3, XBox 360 and the PC, the Skyrim Collector's edition is sitting at a price point of $149.99 for some pretty cool extra swag. The case I'm talking about is that 2K Games sent out no official press release and just used the magazine to spread the word. So everyone out there who doesn't have a subscription and/or doesn't want to pick up the magazine is SOL. You could also be like myself and still have yet to receive your copy in the mail. Mortal Kombat No Longer The Dream You Want

So this threw me for kind of a loop at Comic Con. The fourth, and possibly final, DLC character announced for Mortal Kombat is Freddy Krueger. Not the rumored Green Lantern or some other comic super hero but the master of nightmares. Comic Con 2011 Impression: Darksiders II

Behind The Scenes With X-Men Destiny

With an original story-line where you play as a new mutant within the X-men Universe, players will have the ability to make choices throughout the game, and your "Destiny" will be determined by these RPG style decisions. Golden Eye 007: Reloaded Announced At Comic-Con '11

GoldenEye is probably one of the greatest FPS's of all time and as of last year we got a port of the game on the Nintendo Wii. Which for a time brought back some of the N64 nostalgia. Well Activision announced today that they will release GoldenEye 007: Reloaded. Only this time on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, chock full of upgraded features. Review: Duke Nukem Forever

Nearly 14 years in the making, Duke Nukem is back in action in Duke Nukem Forever. It was shaky and seemed like it was never going to hit shelves, but Gearbox and 2K Games proved most of us wrong. Now if you saw the Sony press conference you might have caught the small bit about a new Star Trek game coming soon with a really cool looking phaser add-on for the Move. There was extremely little shown off there and it seemed like it was just going to be a footnote in the game announcements during the conference. We now have the PS Vita coming to stores in the not too distant future to snag our money and keep us gaming when not at home. Starting back in April, rumors began swirling about Nintendo announcing a new console. Finally confirmed by the Japanese giant, people were anxiously awaiting the “Wii HD” reveal at this year’s E3. Nintendo did not disappoint the many in attendance at the press conference and those around the world with the unveiling of the Wii U. While the name may not be revolutionary, many of the features of both the new console and its unique controller may have you clamoring for this next release.
