by Matt Waitt [ Wednesday, 14th of December 2011 - 08:51 PM ]
Alright ladies and gentlemen it's time for another installment to everyone's favorite program. First up we got a trailer for the opening cinematic to Blizzard's upcoming masterpiece; Diablo III. The trailer features our old friend Deckard Cain narrating a prophecy foretold in one of his many books. I personally cannot wait for Diablo III. I loved the first two installments of the franchise a lot and spent countless hours on Diablo II. Read More...

Gearbox Making A Borderlands 2 Cosplayer's Dream A Reality
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 1st of December 2011 - 05:45 PM ]
Hey you! Yes you. Let me get personal for a second. You happen to be between 18 and 30? Are you Y chromosome deficient; or possibly tried cutting that day Y off? You got a way to make it to Dallas, TX? If you can answer yes to all of those, I got someone down there who want to check you out. Not only check you out, but pay you to look at your face and take a lot of photos to be used in all different forms of media. I'm talking film, photograph, magazine, website and even video game. Yea, the above sounds like a weird Craigslist ad that would most likely end in you being raped and killed. Read More...

Trailer Park 11/22/11
by Matt Waitt [ Tuesday, 22nd of November 2011 - 05:37 PM ]
Since last week's installment of Trailer Park was non-existent, I believe you guys are overdue for a new set of trailers. First up we have a new trailer for EA's SSX coming out on February 14th, 2012. The trailer shows off a lot of game play footage that looks just as insane and hilarious as previous installments, Doing the "Worm" on a snowboard and twirling around like a helicopter are just a couple of the nut job tricks showcased in the trailer. If you plan on pre-ordering SSX then I have some great news for you - pre-order bonuses! If you pre-order from Origin you will get Elise's "elite" snowboard along with a "bonus" boost. Read More...

Aggrocast Episode Eighty-Nine: Blitz On Blizzcon
by Brian Bentley [ Monday, 31st of October 2011 - 04:28 PM ]
Episode 89 has the Aggrocast mixing things up. Writer Matthew Waitt joins Brian and Corey for the podcast filled with talk of World of Warcraft and everything Blizzcon 2011. You'll also hear Brian pretty much speechless as he tries to wrap his head around why people are still excited about WoW. It's not just a WoW podcast, as we talk about Diablo III, Starcraft II and the almost complete absence of Titan. We also learn more about Matt, do Whatcha Been Playing and still make time for a sweet Care / Don't Care. We are currently still having a technical issue with our usual feeds, so in the mean time, click here to listen, press play below or use the link below to download it directly. Read More...

Tribes: Ascend Closed Beta Is Just Around The Corner *UPDATE*
by Corey Dockendorf [ Monday, 10th of October 2011 - 10:02 PM ]
According to an interview with Todd Harris the COO of Hi-Rez Studios has announced a closed beta for Tribes: Ascend will begin November 4th! The confirmation came during an interview with Cyberlink. I got my hands-on with Tribes: Ascend at this year's Quakecon: 2011 and it is as close to the original that any game could get. Large 16 multiplayer maps, armor and weapon load outs and a disc-launcher that would make any FPS proud. The biggest hook is that this is team based combat and it really shows on these large maps. All You Ever Wanted To Know About NBA 2K12 Before Launch
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 30th of September 2011 - 04:26 PM ]
Earlier this week, (9/28/11) in a small, dark room I was invited to a Q/A session with a couple of the people behind NBA 2K12. Those people being Erick Boenisch, producer of NBA 2K12, and Mike Wang, senior game play designer. The small, dark room being my office since this was over a conference call. None the less though it was a fun filled experience that will give all of you sports fans out there a bit more about the game. There is really too much to go into here without having a multipage article here so I will allow most of the answers come from the below recording. Read More...

After killing the criminals who betrayed him, former mob hit man Shank must protect his loved ones from the mob he once worked for. So far no release date has been given, but we can surely expect this one to come out sometime in 2012. I never played the first Shank but I have heard nothing but good things, plus the game looked pretty awesome. Well here are some screen shots and an announcement trailer, enjoy. Read More...

Valve's Steam Trading Feature Goes Live
by Corey Dockendorf [ Wednesday, 7th of September 2011 - 06:23 PM ]
Almost a month ago, Valve's Steam Service launched an open beta trading feature which allowed players to trade Gifts/in-game items among other Steam members. Well that service has officially gone live, and you are now free to trade your TF2 hats to all your Steam friends! That was a quick beta test! Steam members can now trade items from Spiral Knights, and Team Fortress 2 as well as gifts purchased (but unopened). Although these are the only games supported for item trading, Valve has said that "Portal 2 should be reasonably soon and we hope to have several third-party games in the next few months. Borderlands 2 Game Play Footage
by Matt Waitt [ Tuesday, 6th of September 2011 - 04:14 PM ]
So I was surfing around YouTube and came across this amazing fourteen minute long sneak peak of Borderlands 2. Just watching the first five minutes I was blown away by the unprecedented amount of changes to the game; Completely revamped menu system that is all in-world and amazing improvements of enemy AI, they actually climb walls and jump over gaps to get to you. The character animations are impressive as well. Watching Psychos flail their arms, dodge bullets and leap at you is jaw dropping. Read More...

WarCorner: Blizzard Announces Vanity Pet Murkablo
by Corey Dockendorf [ Friday, 26th of August 2011 - 05:43 PM ]
Blizzcon is less than two months away and Blizzard has just announced that players who attend Blizzcon '11 on October 21st and 22nd at the Anaheim convention or those that pay $40 for the Pay Per View virtual ticket, will get the highly anticipated vanity pet Murkablo. It's like having a little Diablo in your Warcraft. Although this is not the first Diablo vanity pet found in World of Warcraft, as Mini-Tyrael was the pet given out at Blizzard's Worldwide Invitational back in 2008, it's still very exciting. We saw some brief video of this little fire breather back in June when a few data mining sites pulled him from the "depths of hell" and gave us a short preview. Read More...

Isn't it about time that we got a slew of new screen shots and such for Final Fantasy XIII-2? Not to mention a narration from the game's developers for the trailers that have been show to us in the past. Wouldn't that be a nice little update for the day? I think it would be, so I guess I'll do just that for you below. There is nothing too revealing on anything here except further proof of Square Enix doing an amazing job with visual effects in their games. As if we didn't already know that. Read More...
