An extended NightCry gameplay 'trailer' has been released to try and help fund the game as the Kickstarter campaign comes to a close It looks like Nude Maker isn't going down without a fight as the NightCry Kickstarter campaign comes to an end. We now have more gameplay to show off for NightCry and how the point-and-click nightmare is going to play if the game actually gets to be made. They are just about a third of the way funded with only six days to go so things are looking as grim for that to happen as when Monica decides to hide in the drier from the Scissor Walker. In the recent Mortal Kombat X Kombat Kast it was confirmed that Jade will not be in the game outside of Kitana's moves That may sound a little confusing but yes, Jade will not be in Mortal Kombat X. At least that is in the form of the traditional sense we may be hoping for. She is in Mortal Kombat X in the way of a fighting variation for Kitana as revealed during the most recent Kombat Kast by the team over at NetherRealm Studios. A new trailer for Shiftlings has been released and it shows off a few of the ways that you will die or fail the mission ahead Look at that. We have a new trailer for that quirky little platforming title called Shiftlings from Sierra and Rock Pocket Games. We first saw something along the PS4 and Xbox One version of Shiftlings about a month ago now. This is that little space "reality TV" show game where you and your buddy are connected via a tube and forced to shrink and expand to move around the puzzling levels. Hitman: Agent 47 is the reboot film for the franchise and we have the first trailer now and it looks rather good Before you get too excited Hitman: Agent 47 is not the title for the new Hitman title being made by Square Enix and Io Interactive. All of the DLC in the Season Pass for Dying Light has been detailed with a few release windows added so you know who you spent the money Dying Light has been out and the tires have been kicked a bit more by the gaming community. Techland has addressed a few issues and are even trying to help the modding community with altering the game further for the PC. Not for those pesky PS4 and Xbox One players though but that is the troubles console players have to take. It was announced today that Shadow Realms is being canceled so BioWare Austin can focus on other franchises and IPs including Star Wars If there has been a game as of late with many ups and downs in terms or cancellations it has been Shadow Realms. It is this fact that I personally have stayed a little guarded when it came to the game as rumors about cancellations of the project by BioWare and/or EA have been all over the place shortly after the official announcement near the end of last year. I am kind of glad that I kept myself a bit distanced from Shadow Realms now as the game has been officially canceled by BioWare Austin and EA. DmC: Definitive Edition is getting Vergil's Bloody Palace mode and we have a few new details on what this mode will include for the DmC fans out there Apparently Vergil's Bloody Palace was one of the biggest requests that fans of DmC had for the DmC: Definitive Edition. Ninja Theory heard that request and it is in the game. This is not a huge secret as it was listed in the additions for the DmC: Definitive Edition coming to the Xbox One and PS4 on March 10th. New information for Mortal Kombat X's online play and meta-game have been revealed and looks like it will keep us all more kaptivated longer Back when Kung Lao was confirmed for Mortal Kombat X we caught a little bit of wind on the new online modes and factions for the game. There wasn't much to go on as it was more or less a footnote in the overall information release and all we knew was that there were five factions and you had to choose one at the start of Mortal Kombat X. The fact that all of your actions in single player and online play had an effect somehow wraps up all that we were given then. Horror legend Kane Hodder has joined up to be the killer in Slasher Vol. 1: Summer Camp to kind of reprise his role from films I feel bad for just now catching wind of Summer Camp and its early development. I blame titles like Last Year and Until Dawn for taking the spotlight in the realm of classic horror film style games and Summer Camp falling through my cracks when it was announced last October. Especially now that I know that this is more or less going to have Jason in it even though it won't be by name. We will have the ability to control the movements from the man who made that role so iconic in Summer Camp on the PS4, XB1, and PC so we can look past the fact that there is a Friday The 13th game in the works for now. Dying Light Easter Eggs have been popping up all over the internet since its launch last week and here are some of the better ones Dying Light is full of all kinds of missions and things to experience. I played quite a bit of the game so we could bring you a great review to read and use as a deciding factor if you should give the game a play. In the process of it all though as I had to focus elsewhere I missed out on a lot of really cool little Easter Eggs that Techland placed in the mix of the core game. I feel bad and now need to replay Dying Light to go and find what else I may have missed but you don't have to as I've collected a couple of the cooler Easter Eggs that could go missed if you don't have all the time in the world to search the game's world or the internet. We have a new live action trailer for Evolve and it looks cool but has a creepy feel for those who may not know what the game is about Here we go with another live action trailer and this one is for Evolve. As would normally be the case I would harsh on a live action trailer here but for this game I'll give it kind of a pass as we have been inundated with gameplay and information for Evolve for so long. The first bit of gameplay for NightCry has been added to the Kickstarter campaign by Nude Maker in the hopes to help fund the game more Last week we had a look at the live action trailer for NightCry, the Clock Tower spiritual successor, and it was okay. It was meant to help set the tone that Nude Maker is going for with NightCry. In my opinion it didn't do a great job as it felt like a really cheesy made for TV short film and nothing that could hold a candle to my memories of Clock Tower.
