If You Still Need It, Here's A Paragon Crash Course

Paragon

A new video for Paragon has been released and it aims to teach us all how to play Paragon in under 60 seconds… if you don't already know how to

The closed beta for Paragon is still going strong but it seems like there me be some issues for players out there. Not any game breaking issues, at least none that I've heard of, but issues in the way of players not knowing how to play the game. At least that is my takeaway from Epic Games' most recent video they released for Paragon here. A video that aims to teach you the basics of the game in less than 60 seconds. In fact, that is just what the title of the video is.

Paragon is a MOBA game and it uses a lot of the same core mechanics that comes with the genre. You move your hero down one of three lanes with their minions leading the charge all so you can destroy your enemies "core." That is the name of what you have to utterly destroy here in Paragon and not some crazy metaphysical expression. At least I hope not. None the less that about sums up the core gameplay of Paragon but there is still little discussion on cards and what they exactly do.

I am not a huge MOBA player so a card system might sound common to a hardcore fan but it just isn't gone over here for Paragon If I am supposed to learn all of the basics of the game here you would think that would be included into the mix. It is not and I am still wondering what this card system truly is. Maybe if I was able to have firsthand experience it would make sense but if it is part of the game it should be included in a "how to play" style video right? I think so but I guess Epic Games did not.

Paragon is still slated to release sometime in 2016 for the PC and PS4. That still leaves plenty of time to showcase everything else but for now all we have is the following video and quick views of some of the characters and abilities in the game.

Paragon — How To Play Paragon in 60 Seconds

Do you feel like you understand how to play Paragon after watching the above video? Are you completely clear on how the card system works or am I just being slow on the uptake? How much more to the game do you think there is and will be shown off in due time? Let us know what you are thinking down in the comments below and discuss. As Epic Games gives us more on Paragon we will have it up here on the site. Be sure to keep checking back in so you don't miss out on a single nugget.
