Microsoft Flatters Nintendo
by Mana [ Monday, 8th of September 2008 - 09:14 PM ]
Yep you read the title right. It seems that Nintendo isn't upset at all over the Mii looking Avatars that Microsft released at E3. Instead Nintendo is actually flattered..weird right?  In this month's issue of Club Nintendo (Latin America equivalent of Nintendo Power) they talk to company president Reggie Fils-Aime about his thoughts on the Xbox Avatars, "Copying is a way of flattering, so we're very flattered," said Fils-Aime curtosy of a transltor. Since Nintendo's ever growing success with the Wii and its little Mii's everyone could assume when Microsft unveiled their Xbox Avatars at this years E3 in July that it was an obvious ploy to try and garner the same attention from a group of gamers that Nintendo has gotten the most attention from- The Casual Gamer. But has Microsoft forgotten about their core gamers who stood by their company despite the constant defects that their product had? Read More...

Two Words: Man Darts
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 16th of July 2008 - 08:37 PM ]
Mad World E3 Trailer I know I talked about this game once before. It was only when there was a teaser for the game, but it looks like there is an even better trailer for the game that was shown at E3 this year. Like the title says, Man Darts! Watch the trailer and you will see what I mean. Now after this trailer, I am even more intrigued by the game. First it looks as blood, if not more, than No More Heroes. Great game. Read More...

Dead Will Be Rising On The Wii
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 16th of July 2008 - 05:14 PM ]
Dead Rising Ports To The Wii Yes, you read that right. Well at least that is what I have been able to gather from a very broken translation of the Japanese magazine Famitsu. So if you were still waffling on buying an XBox to get this game, it will be out on the Wii. Should be good news for some people who will remain nameless, but they are on this site. Hopefully it will do as well as RE4 did when it ported over as well. Go Capcom. Read More...

Castlevania Judgement Coming to the Wii
by Andy [ Wednesday, 9th of July 2008 - 08:03 PM ]
After 22 fantastic years of the Castlevania series, Konami announced that the latest installment of this series will be out in early 2009. This new installment will take full advantage fo the Wii controls, you will be able to employ numerous amounts of attacks on your enemies. I would imagine the controls would be similar to Zelda, where you use both the Nunchuck and the Wiimote. Where other Castlevania installments have fallen short, this title is going to break the boundries and let the player interact with the surroundings, which of course, will be used to destroy the minions of Dracula. So after being able to toss and destroy you enemies with weapons, you will also be able to use the monsters in the game and set traps for them ;) Not only will this game be insanely fun, it will also have a multiplayer option where you are able to battle 1v1 with your friends.
