It all started just a little under a year ago. The exploration of terror in space in a nice little title called Dead Space. A game that I reviewed as my game of the year last year. A game that I deemed brought back those feelings of the first time you cracked open Resident Evil on the PlayStation. Just like RE you were left with loads of questions and left wanting more. Now along comes Dead Space: Extraction. Dead Space: Extraction lets players roll through all the events that lead up to Isaac and crew rolling through the USG Ishimura in fear of getting back off with their lives physically and mentally stable. Yes there is a plethora of weapons available in Left 4 Dead 2. Axes, Chainsaws, and Guns oh my! But what if you just want to bludgeon zombies with a good, old reliable American baseball bat? Not many options for that. Oh wait, I take that back. There is now. If you pre-order the game before the 27th of October, you will be able to get an exclusive baseball bat weapon for the game. Not only that, but you will also get early access to the demo as well as a nice little 10% discount on the full purchase. To go even further, you don't have to go through GameStop or Best Buy for these little extras. Read More...

Pst... Hey... Achievement and Trophy whores. Look what we got here. We have the list of achievements, and somewhat the trophies, for Dragon Age: Origins A nice long list of 50 Achievements 46 Achievements with point values and what you will have to do to get them added to your Gamecard. Most of which are story based, or at least they seem that way. Well outside of the kill X number of darkspawn and bone monkey style "experienced the thrill of romance" with person X. Yep, you will be boning your way to another 40 points or 4 trophies. Read More...

So by now there should be 66,600,000 consoles world wide that have downloaded the Brütal Legend demo. Well at least was the hopes of the marketing team behind the game. The demo being a nice little snippet of the beginning of the game's single player mode and story. It is fun. It makes you want the game even more while melting your face. But the whole game was originally a multiplayer game in concept. In fact, according to the developers, it was built as a multiplayer RTS-like game and the story mode was built from that to flesh things out. Read More...

Just to now follow up with their lack of counting ability, Capcom has just let loose a teaser for Resident Evil 5.2 Resident Evil 5: Alternative Edition. A game that seems to be much like what Resident Evil Director's Cut was to Resident Evil. A new version of the game with a few little extra added in. Enough extras to warrant a new edition of the game for consumers to spend their hard earned money on. But for this game, it honestly seems like it could be worth it. Read More...

Oh Capcom you were doing so well with the counting again. You started with Resident Evil going to four and then five. THen you continued with Street Fighter and Dead Rising, both going four and two respectfully. It was looking like the past of Super Ultra Directors Cut of an earlier title rehashed as a new title had gone the way of the dodo in your eyes. You were kicking out full and new games. Then you go and ruin it with this. Read More...

If you were not excited for the new Assassin's Creed yet, this new trailer, fresh from TGS, will do some more to get you interested in playing this sequel. Or at least following the story of Assassin's Creed. As if you haven't been already. Am I right? In case you have yet to skip onto the video and are still reading, this clip shows you in an epic way why Ezio does what he is doing. Where he came from. Why he is out for vengeance. Read More...

Dead Space: Extraction comes out this week on the Wii. This Tuesday to be exact. On a system that the core game was never on, only rumored about being on. But at least it is on a system that is made perfectly for a rail-shooter style of game. As the Resident Evil franchise has shown in the past and in the not too far off future. But that is not to say that the visuals are not going to be geared up to shock and instill horror in the minds of its players. In fact, here are a bunch of shots from the game and concepts to prove that point. Read More...

Yet another game that has had the Multiplayer mode stapled to it. You all know how I feel about that. But this time it looks like Capcom has done it in a way that could overly help with the game instead of detract. At least as story goes. It looks like what they have done is taken the survivors of the zombie plague and had them do what was done in Land of the Dead, Human on Zombie death matches. Maybe Thunder Dome with Humans vs. Zombies. Read More...

The Civil War saga in the Marvel universe has been one of the best stories to grace comic books in quite some time. It's a great story that is an allegorical commentary in the wake of 9/11 and The Patriot Act. In the storyline, a Superhuman, Nitro, goes nuclear in Stamford, Connecticut, killing hundreds during a reality TV show. A TV show that was like COPS but following the New Warriors. Once this happens, the US public demands that Superhumans answer for their actions and the Superhuman Registration Act is put in place forcing heroes to come out and show who they are. Read More...

As was to be expected in the Final Fantasy Fan capital of the world, Japan, and at the game show specifically in their location, Tokyo Game Show, there is some new eye candy for the franchise. All in the form of shots of the specific Final Fantasy bundled PS3 and a nice shiny new game trailer for Final Fantasy XIV. Something to get the salivary glands overworking for us all that couldn't make TGS yet still wanted to see something from Square Enix. The themed PS3, seen below, is a bit "girlie" if I do say so. It had been rumored since the before the official announcement of the God of War Compilation. The inclusion of the God of War III demo on disc with the first two games. Then the announcement came and there was no mention at all. In fact Sony wouldn't even comment on if it was going to be or not. Which left all of us God of War fans wondering if we would get an early play of the game, outside of going to a convention. Well, today, it has been confirmed that the demo we've seen and played at E3, Comic Con, and PAX is totally going to be included on the game disc for the Compilation. A nice little bonus if I do say so. Read More...

The minds at Eidos and behind Batman Arkham Asylum just don't give up. Last week with the Insane Night Map Pack and now this week with the Prey in the Darkness Map Pack. Well at least this week if you live in the United Kingdom or are willing to download across country lines. At least this is all according to the press release that was sent out about this new map. Hopefully it will be a globally released thing. In any instance, these two new challenges sound just as amazing as the last two that were released. Read More...

Finally some great video on what playing a game of APB is going to feel like. At least if you can find a group of people online that are ok with having a good time and not trying to compete against each other to shame one another. People that you can imagine in control in this video. Like say for instance, the person that tried to use a car to take out someone. Or the person who was walking, looked over, and said, "Oh Shit! A Car! Read More...

Hello and welcome to Millennium City. Don your tights, cape, and/or power armor and take up the good fight to save the city and in turn, the world. That is the premise of Cryptic Studios' new MMORPG Champions Online. Champions being a very popular table top RPG system and Cryptic being best known for their City of Heroes/Villains MMO. How could this paring go wrong at all? It didn't in the very least. Read More...
