Comic Con \'09 Hands-On Impressions of Dante\'s Inferno

Dante's Inferno So at E3 this year, we were all given some great teases as to what to expect for Dante's Inferno from EA. All in the form of an extended trailer and a little bit of watching the designers play through a level showing off their game. No solid hands on experience, but it was still a great sight to see. Gaming As A Sport Further Legitimized

Pro gamers' league signs big deal with Electronic Arts Another blow to your mom's nagging about how video games will never get you any where just flew onto the scene. EA and Major League Gaming have just penned and signed a new deal hooking up EA as a major sponsor for their gaming tournaments. Something that will totally draw more than their average 600,000 people they get now and 5000 to 7000 that show to the live events. Not to mention to bring some big pull with EA Sports and other franchises under their belt now being added to the list of titles to be played for cash and prizes. The Rock Band Network is Coming Something that was talked about way back when the Original Rock Band came to market has just been previewed online. What is this I speak of? Well the ability for users to make their own songs and get them into Rock Band to help promote underground bands using the game. Also to make a little scratch for the struggling artists as well. Guitar Hero 5 Controllers And Tracks So it is now official. I will have to buy Guitar Hero 5. All because of one of the new tracks released to the public. Rammstein has been in my hopes ever since the I got into the rhythm game genre. Finally someone brought it to fruition. I just wish it was the game that I was backing for a while. Also listed with it is the list of all the cool goodies that come with the collector's edition. It even include what you get for shelling out five bucks early to hold a copy for you at you local GameStop. All of it is a nice little bundle of stuff. God of War III Art With talks of a movie script being finalized and a novelization of the first game in the works and slated for the same time God of War III launches, it is no surprise that Sony would be a little more loose with actual game content for this power house. I mean, most of the current press has been revolving around the first game that came out ever so long ago. To help battle this, on the official God of War III website, Sony has just released a new fan kit for people to use and post all over their fan pages to show how big of fan boys/girls they are. A Black Wii?

Hey, It worked in Blazing Saddles I wish I would have waited now. Also that I lived in Japan and spoke the language. Or well pretty much all the things that would be required for me to use this new version of the Wii that is coming out on the 1st of August. No it doesn't have any new features. The Mothership Has Landed

Fallout 3 Mothership Zeta DLC Here is an interesting way to conclude the reign of DLC for Fallout 3. Let's beam people onto an alien mothership that has crashed on the planet after tricking them into thinking there is a distress call emanating from it. Things get really exciting when they find out that they must to fight their way to the helm of the ship to secure it, their lives and an escape route. An interesting twist to things, but I think some of the features that are offered up are going to be the bigger selling point. After being beamed aboard, players will get to add the alien technology to their arsenal of weapons. Read More...
