Look at it in all of it's Olympian splendor. Doesn't it look sexy. Doesn't it make you want to start humping the shit out of it? Just look at it. Ok, fan boyism over for now. But what you are looking at is the God Of War III Ultimate Edition. A nice little collection that includes quite a bit of extras for us die hard fans that will be willing to shell out $99 to $120 for this edition. No, prices have not been stated yet outside of $99 at GameStop, but you can imagine this is going to be around the asking price for it. Just look at the Modern Warfare one and you can make the comparison. Read More...

Since the announcement that the original PS2 titles of God of War were coming to a BluRay near you with Trophy support, the thought has passed my head, what exactly could these trophies be? Kill 1000 agents of Ares? Beat the game on Titan Mode? Use the sex mini game over 100 times? You know the important thoughts and guesses. Well we wait no more for these and the release date too. Below is the list of trophies that the two games will have amongst them. Read More...

We spoke about the short film for Assassin's Creed 2 hitting the web today. Also how it will only be available on Ubisoft's youtube account for the next 24 hours, according to them. Well here it is in all of it's live action grandeur. Watch it and marvel at the quality they placed into this short history of Ezio. Now that you have had a chance to take a gander, what do you think? I'd say they have actually gone above and beyond with this little clip. Read More...

It's time to transport yourself back to the time of Metal and Rock. Back when the ancient gods of Metal ruled the universe and gave birth to everything we now know as Metal music and Hard Rock. A time where Eddie Riggs ends up and needs to help the humans and their allies bring down the horrors of Gloom Metal and Emo-itude. Oh and take down some big, ugly demons along the way to bring down The Lord of Darkness. Err I mean, Pennywise. Read More...

Since the Wii has come to market and the need for keeping those WiiMotes charged and useable has been a concern for hardcore gamers. So then the rechargeable AA batteries got pulled back out and WiiMote specific chargers began to get pumped onto the scene. Some were good. Some just horrid. But they all kept things working as long as it was just the WiiMote you had and nothing else. Not even the gel jacket to protect TV's around the world. These chargers were workable as long as you didn't care taking the extra time to slide out and disassemble everything to charge the batteries or swap in new ones. Read More...

Now I want to start out that this is not a movie based game, at least like all the other movie based games that get pumped out onto the store shelves when a new feature film or the film it is based on is about to hit the big screen. I felt we needed to open with that, because Saw: The Videogame shares only the title and is a continuation off the first film. It is not based of any of the films that have come out or are coming out. It should be considered Saw 1. Read More...

So what is this game then if it isn't the next IP for the Jurassic Park franchise? Pretty much another dinosaur shooter style game with one major twist that others do not have. What would this twist be? Not that you are another space marine traveled through time and space and ends up in a jurassic era, but that you are a "normalish" adventurer and weapons master. That and you have been transported back in time with loads of ammo and weapons to hunt and kill the monstrous and angry dinosaurs of the jurassic era, via the Bermuda Triangle. Yep, that's right. The combat in the first Assassin's Creed was nothing to write home to mom about. You had the few weapons and the few stances and moves you could employ. You couldn't even use you hidden blades for anything other assassinations and counter moves. It just wasn't all that extravagant. This was something that Ubisoft definitely wanted to fix. That and the variety of guards that you had to take down to move about the game world. Something I know I wished for when going through the first play through. Read More...

Just under a month away from the release of the God of War Compilation and we still have not yet seen any of the solid gameplay and visuals. Well outside of a pirated, cell phone camera clip from GamesCon. Something that was burring and full of Parkinson Cam style shot. So we couldn't really judge if the upgrade will be worth shelling out the cash for the two games again. Although it is less than the price of a single BluRay game, and you do get two full games for that price. But for fans that are not as into this game as me, will the trophies and graphic be enough to drop $39. Read More...

Being a lowly space marine seems like the worst thing to be in Aliens Vs. Predator. Just by watching the trailer down below, you get a great sense that most people will only play the Human portion if they are in for a challenge or an Achievement/Trophy whore. I mean come on, the human they show through out the clip is scared poopless the entire clip. To the point where it begs the question right? Then again, I'd be the same way if I was a lowly space marine going up against a retardababy, advanced race of space hunters or even a ridiculously agile and stealthy race of creatures that bleed acid. Wow, it's hard to believe it has been over 20 years since the original Splatterhouse came out in arcades and then ported to the TurboGrafx 16. It was only thought to be remade by BottleRocket Entertainment earlier this year. Now it is all being handled by Namco Bandai Games who took on a few of the collapsed developer. But that is a different tale altogether. This one is all about how things have been progressing for Splatterhouse since the shift. Read More...

Here we go again with the new age Indiana Jones/Tomb Raider game that we all loved, quite literally, 2 years ago. Only this time, it's a different artifact being tracked and a new villain for Drake and friends to out smart. All of it has a very epic, action film taste to it. Evading guards, traversing a modern warfare and running through the snow in Tibet make for a great adventure along with a very witty and humorous feel mixed in. Now we've all heard and seen the hype for this game. It was selected as Best of Show at E3 this year and is already slated to capture best game of the year. Read More...

Ok, so it is no surprise that another movie is getting the video game treatment. This time Clash of the Titans from Legendary Pictures is getting it's very own game based on the original film and the remake that is coming out next year. When you think about it, it could be a decent game, if done in the same epic style as God of War and Dante's Inferno. This is the type of film that brought the epic style to mainstream entertainment and out of your mother's basement. DnD player you know what I'm talking here. Read More...

While just under a month out, Activision is already thinking about keeping people playing their new action rpg, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2. Maybe you've heard of it, maybe not. My bet is that you have. But that isn't what this article is about here, at least not totally. This is about the fact they are adding in one of the best characters to join the good fight. That character is Carnage. That's right! Read More...

Ok, well not really. It just gets me all warm and fuzzy inside waiting for this game to actually come out. One way the Dante's Inferno Team is doing this is placing out high end developer's diaries. Nothing new as we have been posting them here for you to enjoy and take in. But, damn it, it just needed stating. This month is the month of Anger for the team and video. The below clip show cases a bit of the weapons, melee and magic, that Dante will use as he travels down through the circles of Hell. Read More...
