New gameplay for Black Myth: Wukong is out there with it highlighting how Black Myth will be using the Unreal 5 Engine We might have to wait a while between each new bit of gameplay for Black Myth: Wukong, but each time, it is overly impressive. That just happens to be what we have here once again with Game Science giving us a look at the game once more and in the view of the Unreal 5 Engine and the capabilities it is offering up for developers. That has been something impressive from the jump with all of the tech demos before now, and it looks like Black Myth will be showing us all just a bit more. Well, a whole lot more with the over twelve minutes of footage we have that all comes from the gameplay or in-engine visuals that we can expect when it comes to the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC in 2023. The story for Alfred Hitchcock — Vertigo is here to try to show how it will differ from the version of Vertigo in the other mediums out there Many out there should already know the core story and concepts behind Vertigo out there. It has been a story that has been out there for almost sixty years now with the famous Alfred Hitchcock version to given everyone the visual representation of the original tale. If not, then you might be in for a different kind of ride from Microids when their published title Alfred Hitchcock — Vertigo lands on the PC this December 16th. It is still hitting the various consoles in 2022, before you start to worry. Read More...

The release of Aliens: Fireteam Elite is here and we can dive further into the horrors of the Alien IP to take on the swarms Time is a weird thing, as we seem to be upon the release for Aliens: Fireteam Elite on the various platforms out there. It feels like only a few months ago that Cold Iron Studios announced the game was coming and now we are here at the launch and ready to dive into the mix of it all. If you are able to get a team up and ready to give the new Aliens title a go. The co-op versions of the IP do not have the best track record when it comes to it all, sadly. Read More...

Another guest character is coming for Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania with Kazuma Kiryu joining the Super Monkey Ball crew October 5th keeps on rolling toward us and each day means we are closer to Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania launching out there. It also seems to mean that SEGA wants to keep dropping in new characters for us to use while rolling around in the game and then teasing us with them to help keep things going bananas for us all. Here we get to see as Kazuma Kiryu gets in on the Super Monkey Ball fun when the game launches and offer up one more look at how we will play. That and how the game will shift slightly to allow for the non-monkey style character in the mix. Read More...

New gameplay for Life Is Strange: True Colors is here and it feels just about as expected for Life Is Strange title out there In just a few more weeks, we will have the full story for Life Is Strange: True Colors in our hands and ready for us to explore. Mostly in our hands if you do not want to count the planned DLC that we already had a taste of earlier in the week from Deck Nine Games. For now, we are going to turn our focus back to the core game and see some new gameplay for it and how it will help carry the Life Is Strange torch just a bit further. A bit further while also giving us just about what we have come to expect in these games over the years. Read More...

The console family for Oddworld: Soulstorm will be expanding with the announcement of this Oddworld heading to the Xbox soon Hey, would you look at that? Oddworld: Soulstorm will no longer be just a PS4, PS5, and PC only game here soon with the current announcement that we will see the game hit the Xbox One and Xbox Series X now. I know when Oddworld Inhabitants first brought the game to us; it was looking like it was going to be some form of exclusive at the time. That is no more with the announcement here as we wait to see when and how Oddworld: Soulstorm will finally bring this 2. Read More...

The next Dead By Daylight release will be adding in Pinhead to the Dead By Daylight lineup soon There has been a bit of a stir recently for Dead By Daylight with some content going away and other tidbits getting teased out there. For our purposes here today, and as the visuals and headline let us know, we are going to focus on what Behaviour will be adding into the game soon and not what they are taking away. More so, since it looks like the Hellraiser IP will be heading into Dead By Daylight soon with the few teases and now confirmation that it will be the case. Yes, it looks like the next horror icon to stalk the game will be from that IP and most likely Pinhead. Read More...

The launch of Fracked is upon us and we have another quick look at Fracked just before donning our VR headsets Our PSVR headsets are about to get a little more explosive with the release and launch for Fracked this week. Hells, it could already be the case for those that pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition of the game and took nDreams up on the ability to play the game three days in advance. That was a thing and is still possible with the full release of Fracked hitting on August 20th. That would make that advanced play ability happen for you right now if you wanted to throw down the cash for it all. Read More...

The fourth character for the current Samurai Shodown Season Pass offers us one more guest samurai to the roster of Samurai Shodown Here we go with one more character into the mix for Samurai Shodown with the fourth character in the third Season Pass landing on us all. Well, landing on August 19th but that is close enough to say they are landing in here that it still counts for now. That is what I will go with and I am sure that SNK will agree too. All so we can get Samurai Shodown ready for one more fight when Baiken drops on in there from Guilty Gear Xrd. Read More...

New footage for Ripout is out there to get many more amped up for what Ripout will have to offer horror fans out there Get your guns loaded and your weird alien arms ready for the new gameplay we have here for Ripout. This is the upcoming co-op horror title that Pet Project Games has coming at us in 2022 for the PC and it looks like it could be blending some classic and modern visuals together. It could also be a fun way to show off Ripout while trying to obfuscate some of the pre-alpha looks that this footage is pulled from too. No matter the case, we have something to look at and get excited for to head into a space horror setting to try to survive and save humanity from some other terrible thing that is out there. A prequel DLC for Life Is Strange: True Colors is on the way with more of the elements Life Is Strange is known for Life Is Strange: True Colors is still yet to come out there, September 10th is still the date, yet here we are talking about the DLC that will be hitting us all on September 30th to further expand the story. The story before this new one from Deck Nine Games at that. This is nothing new for the Life Is Strange IP, but it is a little weird to get a prequel bit for a game that comes out just a few weeks before it all. Read More...

A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week The week is over now and we can all focus a bit more on our video games that we have had sitting at home this whole time. At least for those that work a "normal" work schedule out there. No matter the case, we had a solid week with so many things for the upcoming Guardians Of The Galaxy game out there and video games like Evil Genius 2 heading to the consoles now. It was also an oddly filled week with more VR titles like Blair Witch and Synth Riders heading out there for us all to enjoy if we have the hardware. Read More...

A new developer video for Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy offers up some insight to the new Guardians character designs we have It looks like we have answers to one of the burning questions that some may have had for Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy; why are the character designs so different from what we have seen over the recent years? The short answer is that this is Eidos-Montréal’s version of it all and they should be able to make their game without needing to stick to the fan head cannon out there. We also have a longer answer too, and that dives a bit more into the process and thoughts behind each of the Guardians out there beyond making them look cool. Read More...

Another Nerf game is heading our way with Nerf: Legends getting announced and landing this October If you have been having issues find a safe way to play in the real world, it looks like we now have Nerf: Legends on the way to let us do it all virtually and a bit safer with everything going on in the world. Yes, we have another from the foam dart guns hitting us (pun intended) with GameMill Entertainment dropping this FPS title on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Switch, and PC this coming October. That makes two different Nerf titles that we will have to choose from to blast all of our buddies with now. Read More...
