Valkyria Chronicles Already Set For Anime Adaptation

Playstation 3 Strategy Action RPG, Valkyria Chronicles, is currently being adapted for an anime series due out in April of 2009. It is being produced by A-1 Pictures, who recently worked on Persona - Trinity Soul and Kannagi. We do not know if it will follow the same animation style as the game, mixing 2D/3D, but it is highly unlikely it will completely imitate it. The last game from Sega development team, Overworks, to be adapted into an anime was Sakura Wars, which was met with much acclaim from fans. Valkyria Chronicles is set in a fictional Europe of the 1930s, located in the war ravaged country of Gallia, and the game recently saw a stateside release this past Novemeber 4th. Read More…

Sent out via Atlus Newsletter, they are announcing a brand new reprint of Persona 2: Eternal Punishment for the Playstation 1 in commemoration of the upcoming Persona 4. "To commemorate the upcoming release of Persona 4 and to thank you for your interest, dedication and support of the SMT series over the years, Atlus is digging back into its treasured vault to reprint one of its greatest classics: Persona 2: Eternal Punishment." Halo 3 Recon is 5-6 Hours Long

Those who got their hands on the December issue of Game Informer might have read about the upcoming Halo 3 expansion Halo 3: Recon. The game is in fact 3-5 hours long, which is very short. The game should also be a very low price. Bungie's Joe Staten says "We do not view this at a $60 title". Hopefully $20-$30. Cheaper Mirror's Edge

Mirror's Edge 2D Beta I was a little shocked at how fast this was done given the fact that the full version of the game just came out a few days ago. But it looks like there is a full on Flash version of the game being done. Well maybe not a full on version, but a 2D flash version of the idea and concept behind Mirror's Edge. Currently it is only one level long, but it is very well done for being a 2D flash based game. Gamestops massive CoD: World at War Tournament

Left 4 Dead Demo Free 4 Everyone Updated

The PC demo for Valve's upcoming survivor horror game Left 4 Dead is now available for download without putting down a pre-order like in the 360 version. First 11 Minutes Of Resident Evil: Degeneration So I am a sucker for seeing things to get myself pumped up for new films or games. Even if they spoil parts of the film. It's just me. A couple of freebies hit the PlayStation Store this Thursday. First there were two downloadable character pieces for Little Big Planet. The first a Halloween set and the second and Astronaut set. Also the recently released Tom Clancy’s Endwar had a free update as well.
