As I stood in the middle of the Konami show floor looking up on their titan-tron waiting for the trailer to come up, one thing came to mind while I was waiting. "Will this game be another disappointment?" But, from what I have seen from the trailer, it doesn’t look like it will. With all the big names like Patrick Stewart, Robert Carlyle, Jason Isaacs, Natasha McElhone in the game, it will be interesting to see who is who.

So far the storyline that we witness as of right now is: Gabriel, voiced by Robert Carlyle, is guided by his murdered wife to defeat the Lords of Shadow as the end of the world is near. The game play that was shown on the trailer looks really smoothed and nearly God of War like.

From what I have seen from the trailer, the game is really going to be one hell of an experience and hopefully we will learn more information about the game soon. It does have a 2010 release schedule, so it is likely to be soon. But until then, enjoy the trailer below.
