Dead Space Wii Announced So completely out of left field, the guys over at Kotaku found some interesting news about Dead Space. It is slated to get a Wii port sometime in the 3rd quarter of this year. So like around Halloween I would guess. So I guess we'll get to actually move things around with the Kinetic gun with the WiiMote not to far off. I'm not sure if I should be excited for this or not. I have a feeling that it will be a crappy port, but I guess EA wants to hit all the markets they can. Read More…

Cryptic Studios Has Some New Star Trek Screens It's been a while since I have posted on this new MMO, the Star Trek one for those who skip the header or don't get my phrasings. But any ways. I checked on their site and found some newer screens for our collective viewing pleasure. The weird thing is that they kind of look like in game art as well as concepts. Like the one with the ship bashing through a moon or planet. But take a look. Read More…

Well interestingly, yes I used a big word, this time around is kind of like the first one. There is need for a password to get in to view the content. Read More…

X-Men Origins: Wolverine
by Kevin [ Monday, 2nd of February 2009 - 02:32 PM ]
Most licensed games that stem from movies have a history of well, being garbage, or at the very least having very few redeeming qualities. A lot of people attribute this to rushed development cycles to tie in with the film's release. There are high hopes for this though considering Raven Software, the team behind Marvel: Ultimate Alliance is at the helm, along with Amaze Entertainment, who have some debatable successes. It will no doubt be a great representation of the character, but with the previous Wolverine centered game, X2: Wolverine's Revenge getting somewhat a luke warm response, will people be ready to accept a new form of Logan - that's another movie tie-in?The official site: http://www. The Joke Is On...
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 30th of January 2009 - 06:30 PM ]
Batman: Arkham Asylum "Joker's Trap" trailer Yet another trailer for this awesome looking game just came out. Arkham Asylum is the game for those who glanced over the titles. But back on topic. This trailer give you a good look at some cut scenes as well as a bit of game play for the game. It looks dark, twisted and how a Batman game should look. On top of all of that, it gives you the overview of the story of the game. Or at least why Batman has to go around kicking ass and taking names in Arkham. Read More…

Play Mirror's Edge The Way You Want
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 30th of January 2009 - 05:59 PM ]
Mirror's Edge Third-Person View Activated One of the major complaints I've heard about from this game is the fact that you can't play it in any way except first person mode. It is to keep you immersed in the world, but in some instances, it would be nice to have the option to just out to an over the shoulder camera view. Or at least a 3rd person view. Something that just isn't a normal option for the game. Read More…

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 29th of January 2009 - 06:09 PM ]
New Final Fantasy XIII Trailer So last week I brought you the view of the counter on the Final Fantasy XIII web site. There was a lot of question what it was going to bring when it hit zero. Well now that it has hit Zero, which option was it from the list. Not the sephiroth one, unfortunately. But it was what some flash decompilers let out to the world. A New trailer for the game. Not to big of a surprise. Read More…
