Name change please?
by Binh Nguyen [ Sunday, 26th of April 2009 - 08:11 PM ]
Ever thought about changing your name? I have. Ever thought about changing your name to your favorite video game character? No I haven’t? Well a 6 year old Norwegian boy did, and here is what happened. This is according to a Norwegian newspaper and dagbladet.no. Last year Christer wrote a letter to the King asking for his name to be changed to Sonic X. That’s right he wanted his name to be Sonic X, do not know why but he did. His parents did not want to send out the letter but once Christer asked why the King hasn’t replied to his request to change his name. Read More…

Uncharted 2 Multiplayer Revealed
by Ben Brody [ Saturday, 25th of April 2009 - 05:33 AM ]
Preordering Sucker Punch's inFamous will get you more than just one good game, it'll get you into a multiplayer beta of another blockbuster game, Naughty Dog's Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. Completely unknown is what the multiplayer entails. Co-op would be nice, though it wouldn't be suitable for a beta. Deathmatch would be cool too, as would capture the flag and a headquarters style game. More details should emerge on Monday when SCE makes their "electrifying announcement". Read More…

Best Buy Hooking Up Gamers
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 24th of April 2009 - 04:11 PM ]
$10 Games From Best Buy It's been said a billion times over that we gamers all like to have our habits be cheap. I mean who wouldn't right? What better than getting a load of titles on sale for dirt cheap, comparative to the normal costs? Like 1/5 to 1/6 the normal cost of a normal launch price for a game. If you wouldn't, then throw down that disposable income to people like myself who could always use a little extra scratch. Or maybe help out some charitable organization like the GHMF (Give Hade Money Fund). Read More…

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 23rd of April 2009 - 04:49 PM ]
More Screens For Bioshock 2 To be honest, I wish there was more to talk about when it comes to this upcoming sequel for Bioshock. I really do, but they are keeping things a little close to the chest. Including showing a fake level that won't make it into the game just to show off the visuals of the game. But you know what, does it matter? We have new views of this game. Read More…

Champions Online For Swingers?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 22nd of April 2009 - 10:58 PM ]
Champions Online Swinging Travel Powers I bet you clicked this thinking that the new MMO from the people that brought you City of Heroes/Villains and Star Trek Online was going with an alternative social game. Don't lie. You know you did. But in all seriousness, if I ever am. There is a new clip out there for you gamers that have been looking forward to the game that was suppose to be Marvel Online originally. The clip shows how they took what worked in the Spiderman games, and most likely brought to the game before the Marvel game got scraped, and make it work in an MMO setting. That's right, you will be able to have swing travel powers in this game. Read More…

In a dispute which has been raging on for the past couple of days, Activision Blizzard Inc. was ordered by a California court to turn over it's game code and custom turntables for it's new DJ game "DJ hero" back to Genius Studios. EA INVITES PSP OWNERS TO GO TO HELL So it almost seems that EA is trying to get totally behind any and all IPs it pumps out to market. By totally behind I'm talking the Film, comics, and pre-planed sequel to Dead Space. All the DLC plans for Mirror's Edge. It's arena in PSHome. This also seems to be no different for there next big IP, Dante's Inferno. Why? What Do You Fight For?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 21st of April 2009 - 06:33 PM ]
Tekken 6 XBox 360 Title Preview: Spring 2009 Trailer Where did all the fighting go in this fighting game? That was something I though after watching the latest trailer for the console version of Tekken 6. I mean watch the trailer and see. There looks to be more going on than just fighting in this fighting game. People with guns, fat guys moving faster than they really should be able too, you get the picture. What this does look like though is that there is the chance there will be more story going on in the game outside of the characters are just getting down and dirty for their own greedy needs.
