Video Games Live Ok, so first let me say, if you haven't heard of this show or had no interest in going, I would say look into it or re-think it. It may not sound all that awesome when you first hear about it, but it was probably one of the best shows I have seen in quite some time. Worth braving the heat and a little bit of sun here in Vegas to go see it as well. If that gives you any inkling on how good it is. Here, let me give you a quick overview of what myself and a few other members here got to go through with this event. Read More…

Ikkitousen: Elequent Fist Flashes Us With A Trailer and New Screenshots
by Michael Camacho [ Thursday, 12th of June 2008 - 08:06 PM ]
As the title states, Marvelous has released new screenshots and a nice trailer to go along with them of the upcoming PSP game Ikkitousen: EF. EF stands for Eloquent Fist, which is actually a clever twist on words on Ero-quent.  Ero = erotic or in the Japanese video game scene, Eroge.  And Ero-Quent is a very accurate statement in describing this game.  The trailer entitled "Blast Milk Promotional Video", should clue you in to this trailer definitely being NSFW.  And NSFW it is, as in tune with the show is an abundance of bouncing breasts, panty shots and torn up clothes. The Matrix Is Coming
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 9th of June 2008 - 06:16 PM ]
Paralyzed Man Takes A Walk In Virtual World Ok, so I love reading about these kinds of things that make science fiction into science fact over time. I know I've had other stories about similar things, but I found yet another one that I thought god to share with you. So this guy in Japan that has been hit with a horrible lot and has been paralyzed got hooked up, pun intended, with a device that reads his brainwaves and allows for him to manipulate data in a computer. Mainly just the data streams that are used for input and such, but still data. He merely thought about walking and was able to make an avatar in Second Life walk around the virtual world. Read More…

What person hasn't thought about breaking a world record at least once in their lifetime? I remember as a kid - the Guinness books were the ones most often checked out at our schools library, so when the chance arose to finally be in the book itself, I was more excited than a fat kid in a cake factory (no offense to any of you fat kids ;p ). Every year thousands of people gather at the Dallas based anime convention, A-KON in a weekend that can only be described as PEACE, LOVE and POCKY. This year's convention though seemly the same, had one major difference - Guinness Book of World Records was there to witness our world-record breaking skills at work! Read More…
