Next week we are going to be getting the next episode of Batman: The Enemy Within and it will continue on the saga that we have been experiencing for some time now. We have been given the little blurb for those who have been playing along as Telltale Games releases each episode, but as January 23rd comes up here, we will want to have a little more of a tease than that. Maybe or maybe not depending on the spoilers you want to keep hidden for you as you play along with Batman: The Enemy Within. As is always the case though, we have the trailer for the next episode and it looks like another major character from the franchise will finally be making their way into this game. Obviously, skip on past it all if you do not want any spoilers of any sort.
If you are still here then you do not care about Batman: The Enemy Within's possible spoilers we may have here. That said, you can watch the following trailer to get amped up for the episode and also sit here knowing that it looks like the full Joker may be making his way into the game. That is at least how the final sizzle of the trailer looks as we see John Doe taking his steps toward some very iconic imager from the Batman franchise. Given that he has been the character all but in name, it makes perfect sense. Have a look for yourself if you want to spoil just a bit more of the story and suspense that has been built so far.
Batman: The Enemy — What Ails You
When the Pact puts its plan into motion, Bruce's cover is finally blown, and as his web of lies unravels, new questions emerge: When and how will the Pact regroup? What's truly motivating Amanda Waller and the Agency? And perhaps most importantly, how will John Doe handle the truth about his buddy Bruce? With another showdown brewing, the clown prince of crime may finally earn his crown…
If I had to guess, the Joker is going to be the ultimate "big bad" in Batman: The Enemy Within with Waller playing a very close second. Depending on how you look at it all. It makes sense from what we have played so far and what we have seen in these little teases for the episodes. I am sure that Telltale Games will do it in a manner that keeps us all happy, but I know I was hoping for something just as shocking as we had in the first season of Batman to hit us and not just the old rogues coming back in a few different ways. I am not sad by any of this though so I will take what I can get.
What are your thoughts on Batman: The Enemy Within so far and where it looks like it is going? Do you think we are going to see the full villain before the end of the season or will it be a build up for another season? Would you like to see some other villain fly in out of left field and be the ultimate "big bad" or will the Joker do just fine for you? Give us those thoughts and feelings down in the comments and then discuss. For more on Batman: The Enemy Within, be sure to stay right here. We will keep all of the updates for the game coming and I am sure you will want to know it all.
