by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 17th of December 2019 - 10:00 PM ]
A new way to play Telltale’s Batman series is here with the Batman Shadows Edition that will add a noir flavor to the overall game look There were a few rumors out there that there was something coming down along the lines of a Batman title just before The Game Awards. That time has come and gone, but there were some fun things that came out about the Telltale and Athlon Games titles out there during the mix of it all. Now we are back to confirm, as of today too, there is a new way to play one of the old series with the Batman Shadows Edition. It has now hit the Xbox One and PC (Steam) platforms with plans to hit the Epic Store, PS4, and Switch sometime soon. Read More…

It Is That Snowy Time Of The Year In Planet Zoo
by Jana Lass [ Tuesday, 17th of December 2019 - 06:00 PM ]
The new Arctic Pack for Planet Zoo is here and adding in all of the snowy animals one would want in Planet Zoo Things are getting cold out there and that means it is the right time for the next expansion for Planet Zoo to be released. Given that it is the Arctic Pack that will add a bunch of the snow and colder climate animals into the mix, it is fitting for the time of year. Not that Frontier Developments was aiming just for that, but it is fitting and will carry along after as it also adds in some new narratives and areas of the world to build zoos in. Thus further expanding Planet Zoo into a full world and not just select biomes and locations. Read More…

The Onoskelis Is Here & Stalking Things Down In Succubus
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 16th of December 2019 - 10:00 PM ]
A new enemy for Succubus is revealed as the denizens of Hell start to rise up against our fair Succubus The creatures of Hell seems to be growing in numbers when it comes to Succubus, as we have another one to add in the mix. Another enemy type one that we will have to face off with in the game as the Onoskelis looks like it will be something to be reckoned with as the titular Succubus traverses the underworld and goes about her business. I am sure this is not the last of the horrors we will see from Madmind Studio for this game, but it is the latest and we get a bit more gameplay to gawk at as we wait for an official release date for the PC version of the game. All of the above does sound a bit foreboding when it comes to this new enemy for Succubus. Read More…

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 16th of December 2019 - 08:00 PM ]
A few more details for Resident Evil 3 have been released after it has been confirmed that we will have a whole lot more of Resident Evil soon Last week, we had Resident Evil 3 officially confirmed and we had a nice little run of basics that would be coming with the game. The excitement hit a fever pitch as all of the basics of it all flowed out there. Now we fast-forward a bit and now we have Capcom still out there showing off the game but now with a little more detail to back it all up and give us some more to go on with how this version of Resident Evil 3 will be when we get it on our PS4, Xbox One, and PC this coming April 3rd. Given that the game has been rebuilt from the ground up, as they say, it is nice to get a bit more than just the character models being altered and the visuals getting a nice overhaul. Read More…

Cloud Strife Is Back In Rare Form For Final Fantasy VII Remake
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 16th of December 2019 - 06:00 PM ]
A new trailer for Final Fantasy VII Remake is here out of The Game Awards and shows us more for Final Fantasy VII’s main man It was a bit of a surprise but not truly, as we had a new trailer for Final Fantasy VII Remake out of The Game Awards this year. It felt like the right place for it to be since we have not had a good trailer from Square Enix for the game in a good clip of time. With March 3rd rolling up a lot faster than many can believe, we need to see more and experience what the first part of this version of Final Fantasy VII will hold for us on the PS4. Do remember that this is going to be given out in parts and not the full game in one spot, sadly. Read More…

Our First Real Look At The Joker For Mortal Kombat 11 Is Here
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 13th of December 2019 - 06:00 PM ]
Have a little tease of the Joker for Mortal Kombat 11 just before the time when he will officially join the roster for Mortal Kombat 11 next year There was never any confusion on if the Joker was going to head over to Mortal Kombat 11 at some point as he has been part of the DLC list for a while now. Not many seemed to be overly thrilled about it, but it was one of the characters that it seemed NetherRealm Studios has been amped about for a while so he was included while others were left out. Now, fresh from The Game Awards, we have our first little tease of the character to take in. Read More…

Review — Terminator: Resistance
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 12th of December 2019 - 10:00 PM ]
We sit down and review Terminator: Resistance. Another entry into the dark and foreboding future story. Here is our review of Terminator: Resistance There has been another resurgence of the Terminator with a new film that hit screens not too long ago and also a new video game that also hit digital stores recently too. Both semi-linked to each other via the main lore of the franchise, but for now we are going to follow with the title that was made by Teyon and out there on the PC currently. A game we had the pleasure of sitting down and spending some time with and are now ready to unleash our thoughts on. Read More…

Death Stranding’s Concept Looks To Have Come From An Expected Place
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 12th of December 2019 - 08:00 PM ]
If you were curious on where the concept for Death Stranding came from, look no further as we now have an explanation on how Death Stranding came to be Since it was first announced, there has been a lot of questions about what Death Stranding was about and it has even progressed further into the realm after it launched and gamers had a chance to experience it on the PS4. It is a weird game and is definitely not for everyone, but it seems like there was a better thought process behind its creation than Kojima Productions wanting to just make a game. I am sure that was part of it, but it is interesting to know that the idea for Death Stranding had been floating around in the mind of the director for some time and all based on a trip to a museum. Battle royale game, Spellbreak, will soon be adding the worlds of the PS4 to the magical realms we will be able to fight from when joining the fight of Spellbreak Earlier in the year some PC gamers out there had a chance to take a look at Spellbreak and the new style of battle royale that Proletariat aimed to bring the world. It was all through a nice little alpha test over on the Epic Store and there and it looks like things have been progressing well. Especially since now we have word that PS4 gamers will be able to join in the fun of Spellbreak this coming Spring as a closed beta heads over there. Read More…

Review — Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 11th of December 2019 - 10:00 PM ]
We sit down and review Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey. A survival game that aims to take us through the creation of humans. Here is our review of Ancestors It seems more and more that video games are used in more ways than just entertainment and here we go with another that aims to educate in a way with Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey. Well, not really educate in the normal means when we get those kinds of video games, but in a way where Panache Digital Games takes us on the long journey to where we all are today. That is at the core of things for Ancestors, as well as a survival game that pits us against a prehistoric world. Read More…
