Get ready for a bit of a history lesson with the announcement of Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War that will take us back into events that slightly happened in the real world. That is how I usually take it when you hear or see that something is "Inspired By True Events." Not to say that Treyarch is not going to do a great job of things here, it is just something I go to as sometimes the real events do not make for great entertainment. Especially when you look at a franchise like Call Of Duty and what we need from it all. Although it is interesting to see this as it could be a great level of commentary on the world today too.
In terms of what we have here for Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War right now is a clip of video from an interview and scenes from the news over the years the United States and Russia were at public odds. All to lead to the title of the game and that we will have a full announcement on August 26th. Most likely gameplay to look at and then how it will push the campaign bit forward and where the next multiplayer parts will flow. I am going to also assume that this is where we will see our first Call Of Duty title that will make it over to the next-gen systems too. For now, all we have is this to go with and then get excited.
