It's Time To Check Out The Future Tech In Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 24th of June 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
A new 'dev diary' has been released for Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare showcasing the advanced technology we will get to use Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare has been making its name recently for all those cool little toys we are going to be able to use while trying to win whatever war we are thrust into via the story. We've seen a few in action, with and without explanation, and we've been left to ponder other pieces of hardware that we may get to use. We are in luck here today as it looks like some of the people at Sledgehammer are here to give us a quick rundown on some of the cool little toys we will be using to kill all of the people not on our team in Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare. Do We Have An Official Release Date For Batman: Arkham Knight?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 23rd of June 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
A listing for Batman: Arkham Knight on the Microsoft Marketplace may have outed the new release date for the game Let's start this week off with a bang as we may have the new date for Batman: Arkham Knight via an accidental "leak" on the Microsoft Marketplace. If it is to be believed it looks like we will be driving around Gotham as soon as February 24th 2015. Only if the below listing, since removed from the site, is spot on with the date. It fits all of the criteria so it would be a bit weird if it wasn't the new date. Read More...

In The Mix Of E3 We Kind Of Missed The Doom 4 Teaser Trailer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 20th of June 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
There was a Doom 4 teaser released during E3 but the full reveal is slated for QuakeCon. We have that teaser though If there is one thing that I hate about E3 it is that we all get so busy that things like the new Doom 4 teaser trailer falls through the cracks and doesn't get its 15 minutes of fame. I almost missed it in the mix of all the emails and social media posts. Lucky enough for all of us that I caught it and was able to place it in memory to show off after all the madness had ended. E3 2014 Impressions: The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 19th of June 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
While At E3 I Got To See The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It I was lucky enough to see The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt at E3 2013 and again this was one of the titles I was able to close out E3 2014 with. This time around CD Projekt Red had another year to build and expand on everything in the game. You should have seen some of it if you watched one of the press conferences online or in person. Only this demo I was shown took place minutes after that one ended and Geralt has ridden into the town with the Griffon head in tow. Read More...

E3 2014 Impressions: Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 18th of June 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
While At E3 I Got To See Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It Now for the doozy of a game from E3, Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare. Love the franchise or hate it, Call Of Duty is still one of the largest titles in gaming history and thankfully it seems to be pushing the technology more and more in the recent years. I know some of you would complain about its annualization and how the mechanics have been going downhill for a while but from the showing that Sledgehammer brought they really left and impact. As the name implies. Read More...

E3 2014 Impressions: Dragon Age: Inquisition
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 17th of June 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
While At E3 I Got To See Dragon Age: Inquisition In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It If there was an award for longest demo at E3 The Phantom Pain would win the gold but Dragon Age: Inquisition is a strong silver medal. A solid 35 minute of the game was shown off in a nice air conditioned booth and it showed everything to how massive the world of the game is going to be, to how your choices will impact more than just the narrative been the physical world as well. That is to be expected though as it is a Dragon Age title though. None the less, let me jump in and tell you want I think of this next installment to the franchise. Read More...

E3 2014 Impressions: Mortal Kombat X
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 17th of June 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
While At E3 I Got To See Mortal Kombat X In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It Mortal Kombat X was teased and rumored long enough before E3 that it was no real big surprise to see it play out on the big screens during the press conferences. By no means am I saying it wasn't a treat to see but there was no real shock and awe moment as the game was fully announced. But that is really all that happened on the big screen leaving much to be desired beyond the long lines of fans waiting to see what Ed Boon had in store for us; not to mention the two new characters promised to be shown off during the event. But beyond that long line was much more than was to be expected… First and foremost was the fact that we got to see not only two new characters to the Mortal Kombat universe but we got to see four. E3 2014 Impressions: Batman: Arkham Knight
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 16th of June 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
While At E3 I Got To See Batman: Arkham Knight In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It If there was one title I was looking forward to seeing more of at E3 it was Batman: Arkham Knight. That was even before the epic showing during the Sony press conference and the other awesome gameplay snippets. It is one of the few titles that truly looked next gen to me back when it was first announced and it still holds up even though it was pushed out further for launch. None the less I was able to see a bit more for Batman: Arkham Knight that wasn't shown to the public at large. Read More...

E3 2014 Impressions: Bloodborne
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 11th of June 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
While at E3 I got to see Bloodborne in a more intimate setting than just the trailer. Here's my take on it One of the larger titles named and shown during the Sony press conference was a game called Bloodborne. The next title coming from Japan Studios and From Software for the PS4. You may know them from King's Field and Dark Souls and it looks like Bloodborne is along the same lines here. I had the pleasure of seeing their live gameplay demo on the show floor at E3. Lucky for you I am going to break down what was shown outside of the pre-rendered trailer. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 4th of June 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
A trailer for the Gauntlet reboot has been released showing off all the gear and weapons that we will be using in the game Earlier this year we had the announcement for Gauntlet getting the next gen treatment with a nice little trailer.
