Review: Tales From The Borderlands — Zer0 Sum
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 26th of November 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Tales From The Borderlands — Zer0 Sum. This is the first episode of Telltale's take on Gearbox's famed franchise. Here's our review on how they did The first episode and debut of Tales From The Borderlands is now here. This has been one of those most talked about titles and fans of the Borderlands franchise have been questioning its worth since the first announcement about a year ago. This is a huge franchise with a lot of rabid fans so Telltale had their work cut out to make Gearbox's franchise prosper in a non-FPS way. Did they hit the nail on the head or is this just another QTE sit and watch a predictable plot. Read More...

Review: WWE 2K15 [Next Gen]
by Greg Tatterfield [ Monday, 24th of November 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
We sit down and play 2K’s first next gen WWE game: WWE 2K15. Does it transition well into next gen? Find out in my review After a brief delay the long running WWE series has finally come to the next gen consoles. This time developed by visual concepts and helped by series veterans Yukes. WWE 2K15 makes a bunch of improvements upon the core gameplay of past games. Hated WWE 2K15 makes some great improvements over past games. I didn't have many things that I disliked about the game except for one feature. Read More...

Review: Escape Dead Island
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 20th of November 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Escape Dead Island. It is a new spin on the Dead Island franchise all to expand the franchise but does it? None The Less Here Is Our Review The time is upon us to try and Escape Dead Island. No not to try and escape the need for the franchise but to actually play through and hopefully enjoy Fatshark's new take on the Dead Island franchise and to give us a bridge until the next major sequel to the core franchise hits our gaming shelves. Do Deep Silver and Fatshark have a great title for us on the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC or is the cell shading style just as dead as the zombies we need to escape from. Here's what I have to say in my review of Escape Dead Island. Read More...

Review: Adventure Time: The Secret Of The Nameless Kingdom
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 19th of November 2014 - 06:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Adventure Time: The Secret Of The Nameless Kingdom. Does It do the franchise justice or is it another cash in for the kids who love this stuff? None the less here is our review What time is it?! It's Adventure Time… well at least it's time for us to review Adventure Time: The Secret Of The Nameless Kingdom. Of course this would be the latest installment for the franchise in video game form from WayForward Technologies and Little Orbit for the PS3, PS Vita, Xbox 360, 3DS, and PC. The first time I believe an Adventure Time title has been on these specific platforms and the 3DS but that's another issue. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 11/10/14 — 11/14/14
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 15th of November 2014 - 12:00 AM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Thus concludes week one in the insanity of video game releases. We've had a plethora of titles just drop and many more in the coming weeks leading up to December. Hells, we even had two reviews this week for #killallzombies and Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare here and have yet to even scratch the surface of all the titles that have been causing a stir in the video game industry. Yes, that is a slight jab at Assassin's Creed there but we'll leave the heavy stuff for all of those other outlets who can trash talk and not worried about getting black balled in the industry. Moving on to what we did have here though in the way of video game news. Read More...

Review: Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare [Multiplayer]
by Greg Tatterfield [ Thursday, 13th of November 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
We sit down and play Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare. Is this veteran still up to task find out in our two part review? This part will cover the multiplayer Hated Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare is a solid experience and perhaps one of the best Call Of Dutys in years. With that being said there is one issue that tarnishes the whole experience and that is the lag. This is the kind of lag that you don't notice till you try and kill another player. You could have the best aim and shoot another player first and then still get killed by said player. Read More...

Review: Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare [Campaign]
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 13th of November 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare's campaign mode. Does it advance the overall franchise or does it leave us all wanting more? The time has come around again and we have had the chance to play and review Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare. We have Sledgehammer Games back at the helm for the latest edition to join the franchise and they are looking to stake their claim back into our hearts and systems. They have been trying to push the limits of the current and next gen consoles and all of the hype has shown that to be the case but did they actually do it? Is Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare just a fancy cash grab or is it the next greatest edition to the overall franchise? Read More...

Review: #killallzombies
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 11th of November 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review #killallzombies. How does this PS4 isometric shooter hold up? Does it use Twitch to its full extent? There are many developers out there trying to make something unique using zombies and Beatshapers is trying just that with #killallzombies. #killallzombies being an isometric shooter that ties into your personal Twitch or YouTube stream to allow others to not only watch but to interact with the game directly. It is a fast paced, zombie killing title but is it worth your time and money? Let me give you a break down in our review of #killallzombies. Read More...

A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games There we go with another huge week for video games. We had Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare get released and another huge kick off to Blizzcon in the form of Overwatch getting an announcement. This was also just the start of the huge AAA title rush at that and we have so much more to look forward in the world of video games. Most of which should be hitting all of our systems in the next week or so. At least that is the major push for things currently as that is what most of the news, videos, and images are all about. This Week In Video Games 10/20/14 — 10/24/14
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 24th of October 2014 - 11:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games I am glad this week in video games is over. Not for any particular reason outside of getting to play all those video games that we've been writing about and covering her eon the site. Even though the review for Styx: Master Of Shadows went live this week I see myself diving back in just for fun and trophy clean up. Need to get as many of those as I can before the PlayStation Experience hits and all. I want to be able to have a higher level to brag about while mixing it up with everyone else who will be attending. Read More...

Review: Styx: Master Of Shadows
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 22nd of October 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Styx: Master Of Shadows. Is this the Thief game that I've been begging for or just another flop? I've covered quite a bit on Styx: Master Of Shadows over the last few months and it is time to see if the game is worth picking up on your PS4, Xbox One, or PC. That's right. It is time that for me to actually play and review Styx: Master Of Shadows and let you know if it lived up to the hype Focus Home Interactive and Cyanide were hoping to build up for it. Just like I am building up the anticipation for the below video review for Styx: Master Of Shadows. I could just keep writing here to keep said anticipation going but instead I'll give you the ten minute review of Styx: Master Of Shadows. Read More...

Review: Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 9th of October 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes. It's time to take Disney's new Marvel acquisition for a ride in the toy box franchise The next major update for Disney Infinity has come and now we have Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes to look forward to as the Marvel IPs get added into the toy box universe that has been slowly building steam in the collectible toy video game genre that has been booming for the kiddies. In the mix of Marvel's popularity it makes perfect sense for Disney and Avalanche Software to capitalize. The big question though is does Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes succeed at giving us all a fun adventure or just turn into an extremely expensive game to keep the wallets with pigtails dropping cash. This Week In Video Games 9/22/14 — 9/26/14
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 26th of September 2014 - 11:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games It's been a fun week in video games has it not? I know it has been here as we've had not one, not two, but three game reviews go live on the site here. This is only the start of things as we get into the heavy review season and I personally can't wait. Destiny, Anomaly 2, and Forza Horizon 2 are just the tip of the iceberg as we move into fall. In the coming weeks I have a feeling that we are going to have loads more for you on the site to help you decide if you need to spend the time and money on specific titles or not. Read More...

Review: Anomaly 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 25th of September 2014 - 09:02 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Anomaly 2 on the PS4. How does this little Real-Time Strategy/Tower Defense Game Fair? Watch and find out In the mix of all the AAA titles being released, announced, and talked about we had Anomaly 2 slip out onto the PS4 as a digital title. It is another title that looks to break the mold when it comes to genre as most still cannot define Anomaly 2 as a Tower Defense style game or a Real-Time Strategy title. In fact it has a mix of both play styles carrying the game on and into our gaming libraries; but should it enter yours? Lucky for you I had a chance to play Anomaly 2 through both in Campaign and Multiplayer modes of the game. Read More...
