Review — Hitman — Marrakesh
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 1st of July 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Hitman We sit down and review Hitman — Marrakesh. This is the third episode of Io Interactive's latest addition to the Hitman franchise. Here's our review on how they did. The world is ever expanding for Hitman and here we go with another episode and location to explore and kill many people that we are told to target. That is just how Io Interactive has everything set up in the game and that is just we have to do. All with a nice little story around it all but mostly just for the mechanics. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 5/23/16 — 5/27/16
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 27th of May 2016 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Another week in video games in the bag and now we get to move on to the next. This should have been a slower week given the proximity of E3 now but there was plenty rolling out to get us all prepped for the event. We had a few sneak peeks of sorts with Vampyr and Umbrella Corps here as well as the announcement of a new title Absolver to see. Then of course we were able to get the nice big review for Homefront: The Revolution out there for you after waiting for the updates to fix some of the major issues with the game. Read More...

Review — Homefront: The Revolution
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 26th of May 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Homefront We sit down and review Homefront: The Revolution. A reimagining of the franchise to make America great again. Here's our review of Homefront: The Revolution It's been a while coming but Homefront: The Revolution has released and we've been able to dive right into what Dambuster Studios has to offer us. It may not be what was originally in store for us back in the THQ days but since Deep Silver picked up the franchise and put the teams to work to reimagine the game we are in store for another fun ride in a fake historical timeline. It makes sense I swear. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 5/16/16 — 5/20/16
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 20th of May 2016 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games One more week in video games in the bag and many more to go. Although I have a feeling we are going to be on the lighter side of the news here soon as E3 is rolling in and there will be way more rumors that we can shake a stick at. All that aside though, this one has been fun with all kinds of updates on Final Fantasy XV and Dishonored 2. Not to mention our latest reviews here for Hitman and The Magic Circle. Read More...

Review — The Magic Circle: Gold Edition
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 19th of May 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
The Magic Circle We sit down and review The Magic Circle: Gold Edition. A game that tries to take us into the world of game design. Here's our review of The Magic Circle: Gold Edition Back in July of 2015 The Magic Circle first popped up on the indie scene for the major PC platforms. Flash-forward almost a year and now it looks like Question has been able to bring the game over to the PS4 so hopefully more gamers can give the game a go. We had a chance to give it a good go now that it has been ported over so without gilding the lily too much here is our review of The Magic Circle: Gold Edition. Their version that I am guessing they originally wanted to come out… Story The world of video game design is a fickle thing. Read More...

Review — Hitman — Sapienza
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 16th of May 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Hitman We sit down and review Hitman — Sapienza. This is the second episode of Io Interactive's latest addition to the Hitman franchise. Here's our review on how they did. We've had plenty of time to get use to the controls of Hitman and played through multiple times in Paris but now it is time to move right along to Sapienza. That is the new location and bit of story we have here in the second episode as Io Interactive moves to expand on the game. It is also the only other location that we've seen for Hitman out of all of the ones announced. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 5/9/16 — 5/13/16
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 13th of May 2016 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games This was a slower week in video games but we made it through. Of course I chalk all of this up to it being Friday the 13th week as well as it being filled with a whole lot of game releases. But of course we also did get a lot of Mafia 3 news out there as well as some Hellblade and of course it wouldn't have been a solid week in video games without the Friday The 13: The Game updates. You know it had to have some solid stuff this week and of course it did. I have a feeling that next week may just about the same in the lighter side of news of video games. Read More...

Review — King's Quest: Once Upon A Climb
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 11th of May 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
King's Quest We sit down and review King's Quest: Once Upon A Climb. This is the third episode of The Odd Gentlemen's reboot to the famed franchise from Sierra Entertainment. Here's our review on how they've done so far There's been another long break and now we have another new episode for King's Quest. Not as long of a wait as we had before but still it seems like The Odd Gentlemen do like to take their time to get each out. None the less here we go with the third and halfway point of the overall King's Quest that Sierra has tasked them with building. Read More...

Review — The Park
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 10th of May 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
The Park We sit down and review The Park. This is another narrative driven experience with basis in Funcom's other great IPs. Here's our review of The Park While The Park released last October on the PC it has finally made the jump over the PS4 and Xbox One to make sure everyone could have the narrative experience that they put together. An experience that looks to stem off from some of the amazing darkness that Funcom has already placed in The Secret World. Now that it has hopped over to consoles we had a chance to give The Park a fun play through and see just how intense this horror experience is. Read More...

Review — The Walking Dead: Michonne — What We Deserve
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 6th of May 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead We sit down and review The Walking Dead: Michonne — What We Deserve. This is the final episode of Telltale's take on one of The Walking Dead's fan favorite characters. Here's our review on how they did Here we go as The Walking Dead: Michonne has come to an end and the story arc of one of the fan favorite characters has been fleshed out even more. Telltale Games set out to tell us a great story and fill in a rather sizable gap in the character's story from the comic books. It was over a year gap for the comic book readers and much longer for all of those in The Walking Dead universe. Read More...

Review — Minecraft: Story Mode — Order Up
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 5th of May 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Minecraft We Sit Down And Review Minecraft: Story Mode — Order Up. This Is The Fifth Episode Of Telltale's Take On Mojang's Famed Franchise. Here's Our Review On How They Did Normally this would be the final end-cap on the season for Minecraft: Story Mode but as it turns out we still have three more episodes to go before season one officially ends. Yes, Telltale Games is taking this whole story into an eight part thing instead of the traditional five. I guess there is a lot to tell for Mojang's title that has never had a story before. Review — JettyCat Towers (Mobile)
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Friday, 29th of April 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
JettyCat Towers Going up with JettyCat the cool cat with a jetpack in JettyCat Towers JettyCat Towers is a mobile game developed by Andrej Preradovic of Ohsat Games. JettyCat looks very nice. I feel like he will make a good mobile game mascot being a very cute cat with a jetpack. The game has thirty levels divided up into three towers; with the third tower being a master challenge that requires you to collect 170 coins scattered across the past two towers. The controls are simple: tap left to go left, tap right to go right, and hold both to go straight. The first tower consists of rooms that have salmon colored walls and yellow block backgrounds.
